| گۆرانی گەشتیاران. ئەی یەزدان، داود و هەموو ئازارەکانی بەبیر خۆت بهێنەوە. | 1 |
“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” O LORD! remember David, And all his affliction!
| ئەو سوێندەی بۆ یەزدانی خوارد، نەزرەکەی بۆ خودای تواناداری یاقوب: | 2 |
How he sware to Jehovah, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
| «شەرت بێت نەچمەوە ناو خێوەتی ماڵەکەم، نەچمە ناو نوێنەکەم، | 3 |
“I will not go into my house, Nor lie down on my bed,
| خەو نەدەم بە چاوەکانم، پشوو نەدەم بە پێڵووەکانم، | 4 |
I will not give sleep to my eyes, Nor slumber to my eyelids,
| هەتا شوێنێک بۆ یەزدان پەیدا نەکەم، نشینگەیەک بۆ خودای تواناداری یاقوب.» | 5 |
Until I find a place for Jehovah, A habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
| ئەوەتا لە ئەفراتە هەواڵی ئەومان بیست، لەناو کێڵگەکانی یاعەر دۆزیمانەوە: | 6 |
Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah; We found it in the fields of the forest.
| «با بچینە نشینگەکەی، با لە تەختەپێی کڕنۆش ببەین. | 7 |
Let us go into his habitation; Let us worship at his footstool!
| ئەی یەزدان، هەستە و وەرە بۆ شوێنی حەوانەوەت، خۆت و سندوقی هێزت. | 8 |
Arise, O LORD! into thy rest, Thou, and the ark of thy strength!
| با کاهینەکانت ڕاستودروستی لەبەر بکەن، خۆشەویستانت هەلهەلە لێبدەن.» | 9 |
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness, And thy holy ones shout for joy!
| لە پێناوی داودی بەندەی خۆت، دەستنیشانکراوەکەت ڕەت مەکەرەوە. | 10 |
For the sake of thy servant David, Reject not the prayer of thine anointed!
| یەزدان سوێندی بۆ داود خوارد و هەرگیز لێی پاشگەز نابێتەوە: «لە بەری پشتی خۆت لەسەر تەختەکەت دادەنێم. | 11 |
Jehovah hath sworn in truth unto David, And he will not depart from it: “Of the fruit of thy body will I place upon the throne for thee.
| ئەگەر کوڕەکانت پەیمانەکەم نەشکێنن، هەروەها ئەو فەرزانەی کە فێریان دەکەم، ئەوسا خۆیان و نەوەکانیان هەتاهەتایە لەسەر تەختەکەت دادەنیشن.» | 12 |
If thy children keep my covenant, And my statutes, which I teach them, Their children also throughout all ages Shall sit upon thy throne.”
| لەبەر ئەوەی یەزدان سییۆنی هەڵبژارد و حەزی کرد بیکات بە نشینگەی خۆی. | 13 |
For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it as his dwelling-place.
| «هەتاهەتایە ئەمە ئارامگامە، لێرە نیشتەجێ دەبم، چونکە پێم خۆشە! | 14 |
“This is my resting-place for ever; Here will I dwell, for I have chosen it.
| بەرەکەت بەسەر ئازووقەکەیدا دەبارێنم، هەژارەکانی تێر نان دەکەم. | 15 |
I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
| ڕزگاری دەکەمە بەر کاهینەکانی، خۆشەویستانی بە شادمانییەوە هەلهەلە لێ دەدەن. | 16 |
I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her holy ones shall shout aloud for joy.
| «لەوێ هێز بە داود دەبەخشم، چرایەک بۆ دەستنیشانکراوەکەم ئامادە دەکەم. | 17 |
There will I cause to spring forth a horn for David; I have prepared a light for mine anointed.
| شەرمەزاری دەکەمە بەر دوژمنەکانی، بەڵام تاجەکەی سەر ئەو شکۆفە دەکات.» | 18 |
His enemies will I clothe with shame, And the crown shall glitter upon his head.”
