1 گۆرانی گەشتیاران، بۆ داود. ئەی یەزدان، نە دڵم بەفیزە و نە چاوەکانم بە لووتبەرزییەوە دەڕوانن، خۆم بە شتی لە خۆم گەورەتر و گرنگترەوە خەریک ناکەم.

Yahweh, I am not proud and I have not thought highly about (myself/the things that I have done). And I do not concern myself about things [that you have done] that are very big or very wonderful.

2 بەڵکو گیانی خۆمم ئارام و کپ کردووە، وەک منداڵێکی لەشیربڕاوەیە لە باوەشی دایکی، گیانم وەک منداڵێکی لەشیربڕاوە وایە.

Instead, I am calm and peaceful, like a [small] child who lies quietly in its mother’s arms [SIM]. In the same way, I am peaceful.

3 ئەی ئیسرائیل، هیوات بە یەزدان هەبێت، لە ئێستاوە و بۆ هەتاهەتایە.

You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will do good things for you], now and forever!
