1 گۆرانی گەشتیاران. کە یەزدان ڕاپێچکراوانی سییۆنی گەڕاندەوە، وامان لێهات وەک خەون ببینین.

The song of grecis. Whanne the Lord turnede the caitifte of Sion; we weren maad as coumfortid.

2 ئەو کاتە دەممان پڕ پێکەنین و زمانمان پڕ هەلهەلە بوو، ئەوسا لەنێو نەتەوەکان گوتیان: «یەزدان کارێکی گەورەی لەگەڵ ئەوان کرد!»

Thanne oure mouth was fillid with ioye; and oure tunge with ful out ioiyng. Thanne thei schulen seie among hethene men; The Lord magnefiede to do with hem.

3 یەزدان کارێکی گەورەی لەگەڵ ئێمە کرد، شادمان بووین.

The Lord magnefiede to do with vs; we ben maad glad.

4 ئەی یەزدان، ڕاپێچکراوانمان بگەڕێنەوە، وەک جۆگەکانی نەقەب.

Lord, turne thou oure caitifte; as a stronde in the south.

5 ئەوانەی بە فرمێسکەوە دەچێنن، بە هەلهەلەوە دروێنە دەکەن.

Thei that sowen in teeris; schulen repe in ful out ioiyng.

6 ئەوەی بە گریانەوە دەڕوات و تۆو بۆ چاندن بار دەکات، بە هەلهەلەوە دێتەوە و بەرهەمەکەی بە مەڵۆ بار دەکات.

Thei goynge yeden, and wepten; sendynge her seedis. But thei comynge schulen come with ful out ioiyng; berynge her handfullis.
