1 گۆرانی گەشتیاران، بۆ داود. شادمان بووم بەوانەی پێیان گوتم، «با بچینە ماڵی یەزدان.»

A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2 ئەی ئۆرشەلیم، پێیەکانمان لە دەروازەکانت ڕادەوەستن.

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 ئۆرشەلیم بنیاد نراوە، وەک شارێکی یەکگرتوو.

Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together:

4 لەوێ کە خێڵەکان سەردەکەون، هۆزەکانی یەزدان، بۆ ئەوەی ستایشی ناوی یەزدان بکەن بەگوێرەی ئەو یاسایەی کە بۆ ئیسرائیل دانراوە.

Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

5 لەبەر ئەوەی تەختەکان بۆ دادوەری لەوێ دادەنرێت، تەختەکانی بنەماڵەی داود.

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 داوای ئاشتی بکەن بۆ ئۆرشەلیم: «با ئەوانەی تۆیان خۆشدەوێت ئاسوودە بن.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 با ئاشتی لە شووراکانت بێت، ئاسایش لە قەڵاکانت.»

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8 لە پێناوی برا و هاوڕێیەکانم داوای ئاشتیت بۆ دەکەم.

For my brethren and companions’ sake, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 لە پێناوی ماڵی یەزدانی پەروەردگارمان، بەدوای چاکەی تۆدا دەگەڕێم.

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
