زەبوورەکان 11

1 بۆ سەرۆکی کۆمەڵی مۆسیقاژەنان، زەبوورێکی داود. من پەنا دەبەمە بەر یەزدان، ئیتر چۆن ئێوە پێم دەڵێن: «وەک باڵدار بەرەو چیاکانت هەڵفرە،

For the end, a Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will you say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?

2 چونکە ئەوەتا بەدکاران کەوان ڕادەکێشن و تیر دەخەنە بەر کەوان، بۆ ئەوەی لە تاریکییەوە دڵڕاستان بپێکن.

For behold the sinners have bent their [bow], they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot For privily at the upright in heart.

3 کاتێک بنچینەکان بڕووخێن، کەسی ڕاستودروست چی دەکات؟»

For they have pulled down what you did frame, but what has the righteous done?

4 یەزدان لە پەرستگای پیرۆزی خۆیەتی، تەختی یەزدان لە ئاسمانە، تەماشای کوڕانی مرۆڤ دەکات و چاوەکانی تاقییان دەکاتەوە.

The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.

5 یەزدان کەسی ڕاستودروست تاقی دەکاتەوە، بەڵام لە دڵەوە ڕقی لە خراپەکار و خۆشەویستانی توندوتیژییە.

The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.

6 پشکۆی ئاگر و گۆگرد بەسەر بەدکارەکاندا دەبارێنێت، گڕەی بای سووتێنەر بەشیانە.

He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.

7 لەبەر ئەوەی یەزدان ڕاستودروستە و حەزی لە دادپەروەرییە، کەسی سەرڕاست تەماشای ڕووی دەکات.

For the Lord [is] righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.
