زەبوورەکان 103

1 گۆرانییەکی داود. ئەی گیانی من، ستایشی یەزدان بکە، هەموو ناخیشم ستایشی ناوی پیرۆزی بکە.

Praise Adonai, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name!

2 ئەی گیانی من، ستایشی یەزدان بکە، هیچ چاکەیەکی لەبیر مەکە:

Praise Adonai, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits;

3 ئەوەی لە هەموو گوناهێکت خۆشدەبێت، لە هەموو نەخۆشییەک چاکت دەکاتەوە،

who forgives all your depravities (moral evils); who heals all your diseases;

4 ئەوەی ژیانت لە گۆڕ دەکڕێتەوە، خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕ و بەزەیی دەکاتە تاجی سەرت،

who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with chesed ·loving-kindness· and tender rachamim ·merciful loves·;

5 ئەوەی تەمەنت تێر دەکات بە چاکە، تاکو گەنجییەتیت وەک هەڵۆ نوێ ببێتەوە.

who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 یەزدان ڕاستودروستی ئەنجام دەدات، دادپەروەری بۆ هەموو چەوساوەکان.

Adonai executes righteous acts, and mishpat ·justice· for all who are oppressed.

7 ڕێگای خۆی بە موسا ناساند، کردارەکانی بە نەوەکانی ئیسرائیل:

He made known his ways to Moses [Drawn out], his deeds to the children of Israel [God prevails].

8 یەزدان میهرەبان و بە بەزەییە، پشوودرێژە و خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕی زۆرە.

Adonai is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in chesed ·loving-kindness·.

9 تاوانبارکردنی هەتاسەر نییە، تووڕەیی هەتاهەتایە نییە.

He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.

10 بە گوناهی خۆمان لەگەڵ ناکات و بەگوێرەی تاوانەکانمان سزامان ناداتەوە.

He has not dealt with us according to our crimes deserving penalty, sins ·missing the goal·, nor repaid us for our depravities (moral evils).

11 وەک بەرزی ئاسمان لەسەر زەوییەوە، خۆشەویستییە نەگۆڕەکەی زۆرکردووە بۆ ئەوانەی کە لێی دەترسن.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his chesed ·loving-kindness· toward those who fear him.

12 وەک دووری ڕۆژهەڵات لە ڕۆژئاواوە، یاخیبوونەکانمانی لێ دوورخستووینەتەوە.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our rebellious breaches of relationships from us.

13 وەک باوک چۆن بەزەیی بە منداڵەکانیدا دێتەوە، یەزدانیش ئاوا بەزەیی بەوانەدا دێتەوە کە لێی دەترسن،

Like a father has racham ·compassionate merciful love· on his children, so Adonai has racham ·compassionate merciful love· on those who fear him.

14 چونکە دەزانێت ئێمە چۆن پێکهێنراوین، لەبیریەتی کە ئێمە خۆڵین.

For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.

15 مرۆڤ ڕۆژگاری ژیانی وەک گیا وایە، وەک گوڵی ناو کێڵگە گوڵ دەکات،

As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

16 بایەک بەسەریدا هەڵبکات، ئیتر نامێنێت، ئاسەواریشی دیار نابێت.

For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more.

17 بەڵام خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕی یەزدان لە ئەزەلەوە و هەتاهەتایە بۆ ئەوانەیە کە لێی دەترسن، ڕاستودروستییەکەشی بۆ نەوەکانە،

But Adonai’s chesed ·loving-kindness· is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children;

18 بۆ ئەوانەی پەیمانی بەجێدەگەیەنن، ئەوانەی ڕێنماییەکانی ئەویان لەبیرە بۆ ئەوەی پەیڕەوی بکەن.

to those who keep his covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·, to those who remember to obey his precepts.

19 یەزدان تەختی خۆی لە ئاسمان چەسپاندووە و پاشایەتییەکەشی بەسەر هەمووانەوە فەرمانڕەوایەتی دەکات.

Adonai has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.

20 ئەی فریشتەکانی یەزدان، ستایشی بکەن، ئەی ئەو بەهێزانەی وتەکانی بەجێدەهێنن، ئەی ئەوانەی گوێڕایەڵی وتەی ئەو دەبن.

Praise Adonai, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, Sh'ma ·hearing obeying· the voice of his word.

21 ئەی هەموو سوپاکانی، ستایشی یەزدان بکەن، ئەی خزمەتکارانی کە بە ڕەزامەندی ئەو کار دەکەن.

Praise Adonai, all you armies of his, you servants of his, who do his pleasure.

22 ئەی هەموو کارەکانی، ستایشی یەزدان بکەن لە هەموو شوێنێکی ژێر دەسەڵاتی. ئەی گیانی من، ستایشی یەزدان بکە.

Praise Adonai, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. Praise Adonai, my soul!
