| ئەوەی زۆر سەرزەنشت بکرێت و هەر کەللەڕەق بێت، لەناکاو تێکدەشکێت و چارەسەریشی نابێت. | 1 |
He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck shall suddenly be broken, and that without remedy.
| کاتێک ڕاستودروستان زۆر بن گەل دڵخۆش دەبێت، کە بەدکار فەرمانڕەوا بێت گەل دەناڵێنێت. | 2 |
When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people sigh.
| ئەوەی حەز لە دانایی بکات باوکی دڵخۆش دەکات، هاوڕێی لەشفرۆشانیش سامان بەفیڕۆ دەدات. | 3 |
Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father; but he that keepeth company with harlots wasteth his substance.
| پاشا بە دادوەری وڵات ڕادەگرێت، بەڵام ئەوانەی بەدوای پارە بکەون وێرانی دەکەن. | 4 |
The king by justice establisheth the land; but he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.
| ئەو کەسەی لەگەڵ دراوسێکەی زمانلووسی بکات داو لەبەرپێی دەنێتەوە. | 5 |
A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his steps.
| لە گوناهی پیاوخراپ تەڵە هەیە، بەڵام کەسی ڕاستودروست گۆرانی دەڵێت و دڵخۆش دەبێت. | 6 |
In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare; but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
| کەسی ڕاستودروست گرنگی بە مافی هەژار دەدات، بەڵام بەدکار ئەو گرنگییە تێناگات. | 7 |
The righteous taketh knowledge of the cause of the poor; the wicked understandeth not knowledge.
| گاڵتەجاڕان شار دەخەنە ئاژاوەوە، بەڵام دانایان تووڕەیی کپ دەکەنەوە. | 8 |
Scornful men set a city in a blaze; but wise men turn away wrath.
| ئەگەر پیاوێکی دانا گێلێک بداتە دادگا، گێلەکە تووڕە بێت یان گاڵتەی پێ بێت ئاشتی نابێت. | 9 |
If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he be angry or laugh, there will be no rest.
| خوێنڕێژان ڕقیان لە کەسی دروست دەبێتەوە، بەڵام سەرڕاستان ژیانی دەپارێزن. | 10 |
The men of blood hate him that is sincere; and as for the upright, they seek his life.
| گێل هەرچی تووڕەیی لە دڵدایە دەریدەبڕێت، بەڵام دانا خۆی دەگرێت. | 11 |
A fool spendeth all his spirit; but a wise man stilleth it within him.
| ئەگەر فەرمانڕەوایەک گوێ لە قسەی درۆ بگرێت، هەموو خزمەتکارەکانی دەبنە بەدکار. | 12 |
If a ruler hearkeneth to falsehood, all his servants are wicked.
| هەژار لەگەڵ زۆردار لەمەدا لە یەکتری دەچن: یەزدان ڕووناکی بە چاوی هەردووکیان دەدات. | 13 |
The poor man and the oppressor meet together; the LORD giveth light to the eyes of them both.
| ئەگەر پاشایەک بە ڕاستی دادوەری هەژاران بکات، تەختەکەی هەتاهەتایە دەچەسپێت. | 14 |
The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
| داری تەمبێکردن دانایی دەبەخشێت، بەڵام منداڵ جڵەوی بەربدرێت دایکی خۆی شەرمەزار دەکات. | 15 |
The rod and reproof give wisdom; but a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother.
| کاتێک بەدکاران گەشە دەکەن گوناه زۆر دەبێت، بەڵام ڕاستودروستان کەوتنیان دەبینن. | 16 |
When the wicked are increased, transgression increaseth; but the righteous shall gaze upon their fall.
| کوڕەکەت تەمبێ بکە دەتحەسێنێتەوە، چێژ دەداتە گیانت. | 17 |
Correct thy son, and he will give thee rest; yea, he will give delight unto thy soul.
| بەبێ سروش گەل بەڕەڵا دەبێت، بەڵام ئەوەی تەورات پەیڕەو بکات خۆزگەی پێ دەخوازرێت. | 18 |
Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
| خزمەتکار تەنها بە قسە تەمبێ نابێت، هەرچەندە تێدەگات، بەڵام گوێی ناداتێ. | 19 |
A servant will not be corrected by words; for though he understand, there will be no response.
| ئەو کەسەت بینیوە بە پەلەیە لە قسەکانی؟ گێل لەو زیاتر ئومێدی پێ دەکرێت. | 20 |
Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope for a fool than for him.
| ئەوەی خزمەتکارەکەی لە منداڵییەوە بە ناز ڕابگرێت، لە کۆتاییدا لێی هەڵدەگەڕێتەوە. | 21 |
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become master at the last.
| کەسی تووڕە ناکۆکی دەوروژێنێت، کەسی هەڵچووش گوناهی زۆرە. | 22 |
An angry man stirreth up strife, and a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression.
| لووتبەرزی مرۆڤ خۆی نزم دەکاتەوە، بەڵام بێفیز ڕێزدار دەبێت. | 23 |
A man's pride shall bring him low; but he that is of a lowly spirit shall attain to honour.
| هاوبەشی دز ڕقی لە خۆی دەبێتەوە، سوێند دەخوات و دانی پێدا نانێت. | 24 |
Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth the adjuration and uttereth nothing.
| ترسی مرۆڤ تەڵە دەنێتەوە، بەڵام ئەوەی پشت بە یەزدان ببەستێت پەناگیر دەبێت. | 25 |
The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be set up on high.
| زۆر کەس داوای ڕەزامەندی فەرمانڕەوایان دەکەن، بەڵام مرۆڤ لەلایەن یەزدانەوە دادپەروەری بەدەستدەهێنێت. | 26 |
Many seek the ruler's favour; but a man's judgment cometh from the LORD.
| قێزی ڕاستودروستان لە کەسی ناڕەوایە، قێزی بەدکاریش لەوەیە کە ڕێگای ڕاستە. | 27 |
An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; and he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
