پەندەکانی سلێمان 16
| پلانەکانی دڵ هی مرۆڤە، بەڵام وەڵامدانەوەی زمان لە یەزدانەوەیە. | 1 |
The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, [are] from the LORD.
| هەموو ڕێگاکانی مرۆڤ لەبەرچاوی خۆی بێگەردن، بەڵام یەزدان پاڵنەرەکان هەڵدەسەنگێنێت. | 2 |
All the ways of a man [are] clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
| کارەکانت بە یەزدان بسپێرە، پلانەکانت جێگیر دەبێت. | 3 |
Commit thy works to the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
| یەزدان بۆ مەبەستی خۆی هەموو شتێکی دروستکردووە، تەنانەت بەدکاریش بۆ ڕۆژی بەڵا. | 4 |
The LORD hath made all [things] for himself: yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.
| یەزدان قێزی لە هەموو دڵ بەفیزێکە، بێگومان سزادانی لەسەر تێناپەڕێت. | 5 |
Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
| بە خۆشەویستی نەگۆڕ و دڵسۆزی کەفارەت بۆ تاوان دەکرێت، بە لەخواترسیش دوورکەوتنەوە لە خراپە. | 6 |
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD [men] depart from evil.
| ئەگەر ڕەفتاری مرۆڤ مایەی ڕەزامەندی یەزدان بێت، وا دەکات تەنانەت دوژمنەکانیشی لەگەڵیدا ئاشت ببنەوە. | 7 |
When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
| باشترە کەمت هەبێت بە ڕاستودروستییەوە لەوەی داهاتێکی زۆری بە ناڕەوا. | 8 |
Better [is] a little with righteousness, than great revenues without right.
| دڵی مرۆڤ پلان بۆ ڕێگای خۆی دادەنێت، بەڵام یەزدان هەنگاوەکانی ئاراستە دەکات. | 9 |
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
| قسەی پاشا وەک سروشە، دەبێ لە دادوەریدا دەمی ناپاکی نەکات. | 10 |
A divine sentence [is] in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
| قەپان و تەرازووی دادپەروەر لە یەزدانەوەیە، هەموو کێشێکی ناو کیسە کاری ئەوە. | 11 |
A just weight and balance [are] the LORD'S: all the weights of the bag [are] his work.
| قێزی پاشایان لە خراپەکردنە، چونکە بە ڕاستودروستی تەخت دەچەسپێت. | 12 |
[It is] an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
| ڕەزامەندی پاشایان لێوی ڕاستودروستە، کەسی ڕاستگۆیان خۆشدەوێت. | 13 |
Righteous lips [are] the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
| تووڕەیی پاشا وەک فریشتەی مەرگە، بەڵام کەسی دانا هێمنی دەکاتەوە. | 14 |
The wrath of a king [is as] messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
| ڕووناکی ڕووی پاشا ژیانی تێدایە، ڕەزامەندیشی وەک هەورە بارانی بەهارە. | 15 |
In the light of a king's countenance [is] life; and his favor [is] as a cloud of the latter rain.
| دەستکەوتنی دانایی چەند لە زێڕ باشترە، دەستکەوتنی تێگەیشتنیش لە زیو پەسەندترە. | 16 |
How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold? and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver?
| ڕێگای سەرڕاستان دوورکەوتنەوەیە لە خراپە، ئەوەی ڕێگای خۆی بپارێزێت گیانی خۆی دەپارێزێت. | 17 |
The highway of the upright [is] to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
| لەپێش شکان لووتبەرزییە، لەپێش ڕووخانیش ڕۆحزلییە. | 18 |
Pride [goeth] before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
| باشترە بێفیز بیت و لەگەڵ ستەملێکراوان بیت، لە دابەشکردنی دەستکەوت لەگەڵ لووتبەرزان. | 19 |
Better [it is to be] of a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
| ئەوەی بایەخ بە ئامۆژگاری بدات چاکەی دەست دەکەوێت، ئەوەی پشت بە یەزدان ببەستێت خۆزگەی پێ دەخوازرێت. | 20 |
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoever trusteth in the LORD, happy [is] he.
| ئەوەی لە دڵدا دانا بێت پێی دەگوترێت تێگەیشتوو، شیرینی لێوەکانیش فێربوون زیاد دەکات. | 21 |
The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
| وریایی سەرچاوەی ژیانە بۆ خاوەنەکەی، بەڵام گێلەکان بە گێلایەتی خۆیان سزا دەدرێن. | 22 |
Understanding [is] a well-spring of life to him that hath it: but the instruction of fools [is] folly.
| دڵی کەسی دانا ڕێنمایی دەمی دەکات و بەسەر لێوان فێربوون زیاد دەکات. | 23 |
The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.
| قسەی جوان شانەی هەنگوینە، بۆ دەروون شیرینە و بۆ ئێسک چاکبوونەوەیە. | 24 |
Pleasant words [are as] a honey-comb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
| ڕێگا هەیە لەبەرچاوی مرۆڤ ڕاست دیارە، بەڵام کۆتاییەکەی بەرەو مردنە. | 25 |
There is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end of it [is] the ways of death.
| نەوسی کرێکار بۆ خۆی ڕەنج دەدات، برسیێتییەکەی پاڵی پێوەدەنێت. | 26 |
He that laboreth laboreth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.
| کەسی دڵڕەش کای کۆن بە با دەکات و لەسەر لێوەکانیشی ئاگری کڵپەدارن. | 27 |
An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips [there is] as a burning fire.
| کەسی درۆزن دووبەرەکی دەوروژێنێت و دەمشڕ دۆستی نزیک لە یەکتر جیا دەکاتەوە. | 28 |
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
| کەسی توندڕەو دراوسێی خۆی تەفرە دەدات و بە ڕێگایەکدا دەیبات کە باش نییە. | 29 |
A violent man enticeth his neighbor, and leadeth him into the way [that is] not good.
| ئەوەی چاو دەقوچێنێت پیلان بۆ درۆ دادەڕێژێت، ئەوەی لێوی دەکرۆژێت خراپە بە ئەنجام دەگەیەنێت. | 30 |
He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.
| ڕیش سپیێتی تاجی شانازییە، لە ڕێگای ڕاستودروستییەوە دەستدەکەوێت. | 31 |
The hoary head [is] a crown of glory, [if] it is found in the way of righteousness.
| ئەوەی درەنگ تووڕە بێت لە پاڵەوان باشترە، ئەوەی بەسەر خۆیدا زاڵ بێت باشترە لەوەی شارێک دەگرێت. | 32 |
[He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit, than he that taketh a city.
| تیروپشک هەڵدەدرێتە کۆش، بەڵام هەموو بڕیارێکی لەلایەن یەزدانەوەیە. | 33 |
The lot is cast into the lap: but the whole disposing of it [is] from the LORD.
