پەندەکانی سلێمان 13
| کوڕی دانا تەمبێکردنی باوکی وەردەگرێت، بەڵام گاڵتەجاڕ گوێ لە سەرزەنشت ناگرێت. | 1 |
A wise son is instructed of his father; but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
| مرۆڤ لە بەروبوومی دەمی چاکە دەخوات، ناپاکانیش ئارەزوویان توندوتیژییە. | 2 |
A man shall eat good from the fruit of his mouth; but the desire of the faithless is violence.
| ئەوەی ئاگای لە دەمی بێت گیانی خۆی دەپارێزێت، بەڵام ئەوەی زمان درێژی دەکات لەناودەچێت. | 3 |
He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; but for him that openeth wide his lips there shall be ruin.
| گیانی تەمبەڵ ئارەزوو دەکات و هیچی دەست ناکەوێت، بەڵام گیانی تێکۆشەر سەرکەوتوو دەبێت. | 4 |
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be abundantly gratified.
| کەسی ڕاستودروست ڕقی لە قسەی درۆیە، بەدکاریش ڕیسوایی و شەرمەزاری دەهێنێت. | 5 |
A righteous man hateth lying; but a wicked man behaveth vilely and shamefully.
| ڕاستودروستی ئەو کەسە دەپارێزیت کە ڕێگای ڕاستە، خراپەش گوناهبار سەرەوژێر دەکات. | 6 |
Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
| هەیە خۆی بە دەوڵەمەند دەردەخات و هیچی نییە، هەشە خۆی بە هەژار دەردەخات و سامانی زۆری هەیە. | 7 |
There is that pretendeth himself rich, yet hath nothing; there is that pretendeth himself poor, yet hath great wealth.
| لەوانەیە مرۆڤ بە سامانەکەی گیانی خۆی بکڕێتەوە، بەڵام هەژار گوێی لە هەڕەشە نابێت. | 8 |
The ransom of a man's life are his riches; but the poor heareth no threatening.
| ڕووناکی ڕاستودروستان دەگەشێتەوە، بەڵام چرای بەدکاران دەکوژێتەوە. | 9 |
The light of the righteous rejoiceth; but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
| لە لووتبەرزییەوە تەنها ناکۆکی پەیدادەبێت، بەڵام لەگەڵ ڕاوێژکاران دانایی. | 10 |
By pride cometh only contention; but with the well-advised is wisdom.
| ماڵێک بە ناپاکی پەیداکرابێت، کەم دەکات، بەڵام ئەوەی بە کاری دەست کۆدەبێتەوە، زیاد دەکات. | 11 |
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished; but he that gathereth little by little shall increase.
| ئومێدی درێژکراوە دڵ نەخۆش دەکات، ئارەزووی بەدیهاتووش درەختی ژیانە. | 12 |
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
| ئەوەی سووکایەتی بە فێرکردنەکە بکات خۆی لەناودەبات، بەڵام ئەوەی ڕێزی بۆ ڕاسپاردەکە هەبێت پاداشتی دەدرێتەوە. | 13 |
Whoso despiseth the word shall suffer thereby; but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
| فێرکردنەکانی دانا کانی ژیانە، بۆ دوورکەوتنەوە لە داوی مردن. | 14 |
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
| تێگەیشتنی باش پەسەندی بەدەستدەهێنێت، بەڵام ڕێگای ناپاکان سەختە. | 15 |
Good understanding giveth grace; but the way of the faithless is harsh.
| هەموو کەسێکی ژیر بە زانیارییەوە کار دەکات، بەڵام نەزان گێلایەتی بڵاو دەکاتەوە. | 16 |
Every prudent man dealeth with forethought; but a fool unfoldeth folly.
| نێردراوی بەدکار دەکەوێتە خراپەوە، پەیامبەری دەستپاکیش چاکبوونەوە دەهێنێت. | 17 |
A wicked messenger falleth into evil; but a faithful ambassador is health.
| هەژاری و ڕیسوایی بۆ ئەوانەیە تەمبێکردن بەلاوە دەنێن، بەڵام ئەوەی سەرزەنشت لەگوێدەگرێت ڕێزدار دەبێت. | 18 |
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction; but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
| ئارەزووی بەدیهاتوو خۆشییە بۆ گیان، بەڵام گێل وا دەزانێت کە لادان لە خراپە شتێکی قێزەونە. | 19 |
The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; and it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
| ئەوەی لەگەڵ دانایان دەڕوات دەبێتە دانا، هاوڕێی گێلەکانیش زیانی پێدەگات. | 20 |
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but the companion of fools shall smart for it.
| خراپە دوای گوناهباران دەکەوێت، بەڵام ڕاستودروستان بە چاکە پاداشت دەدرێنەوە. | 21 |
Evil pursueth sinners; but to the righteous good shall be repaid.
| پیاوچاک میرات بۆ نەوەکانی بەجێدەهێڵێت، سامانی گوناهبارانیش بۆ ڕاستودروست هەڵدەگیردرێت. | 22 |
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
| لەوانەیە زەویی بەیاری هەژاران خواردنی زۆری تێدابێت، بەڵام لەبەر نادادپەروەری دەبردرێت. | 23 |
Much food is in the tillage of the poor; but there is that is swept away by want of righteousness.
| ئەوەی ڕێگا لە کوتەک بگرێت ڕقی لە کوڕەکەیەتی، بەڵام ئەوەی خۆشیبوێت گرنگی بە تەمبێکردنی دەدات. | 24 |
He that spareth his rod hateth his son; but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
| کەسی ڕاستودروست دەخوات و تێر دەبێت، بەڵام سکی بەدکاران هەر برسی دەبێت. | 25 |
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his desire; but the belly of the wicked shall want.
