| ئەمە ڕەچەڵەکی عیسای مەسیحە، کوڕی داود، کوڕی ئیبراهیم: | 1 |
The genealogy of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham.
| ئیبراهیم باوکی ئیسحاق بوو، ئیسحاق باوکی یاقوب بوو، یاقوب باوکی یەهودا و براکانی بوو، | 2 |
Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judah and his brothers.
| یەهودا باوکی پێرێز و زەرەح بوو کە تامار دایکیان بوو، پێرێز باوکی حەسرۆن بوو، حەسرۆن باوکی ڕام بوو، | 3 |
And Judah begat Pharez and Zarah, by Tamar. And Pharez begat Hezron; and Hezron begat Ram;
| ڕام باوکی عەمیناداب بوو، عەمیناداب باوکی نەحشۆن بوو، نەحشۆن باوکی سەلمۆن بوو، | 4 |
and Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon; and Nahshon begat Salmon;
| سەلمۆن باوکی بۆعەز بوو کە ڕاحاب دایکی بوو، بۆعەز باوکی عوبێد بوو کە ڕائووس دایکی بوو، عوبێد باوکی یەسا بوو، | 5 |
and Salmon begat Boaz by Rahab. And Boaz begat Obed by Ruth. And Obed begat Jesse;
| یەسا باوکی داودی پاشا بوو. داود باوکی سلێمان بوو لەو ژنەی کە پێشتر ژنی ئوریا بوو، | 6 |
and Jesse begat David the king. And David begat Solomon by the wife of Uriah.
| سلێمان باوکی ڕەحەڤەعام بوو، ڕەحەڤەعام باوکی ئەبیا بوو، ئەبیا باوکی ئاسا بوو، | 7 |
And Solomon begat Rehoboam; and Rehoboam begat Abijah; and Abijah begat Asa;
| ئاسا باوکی یەهۆشافات بوو، یەهۆشافات باوکی یەهۆرام بوو، یەهۆرام باوکی عوزیا بوو، | 8 |
and Asa begat Jehoshaphat; and Jehoshaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Uzziah;
| عوزیا باوکی یۆتام بوو، یۆتام باوکی ئاحاز بوو، ئاحاز باوکی حەزقیا بوو، | 9 |
and Uzziah begat Jotham; and Jotham begat Ahaz; and Ahaz begat Hezekiah;
| حەزقیا باوکی مەنەشە بوو، مەنەشە باوکی ئامۆن بوو، ئامۆن باوکی یۆشیا بوو، | 10 |
and Hezekiah begat Manasseh; and Manasseh begat Amon; and Amon begat Josiah;
| یۆشیا باوکی یەهۆیاکین و براکانی بوو، لە کاتی ڕاپێچکردنەکە بۆ بابل. | 11 |
and Josiah begat Jeconiah and his brothers, at the time of the removal to Babylon.
| لەدوای ڕاپێچکردنەکە بۆ بابل، یەهۆیاکین باوکی شەئەلتیێل بوو، شەئەلتیێل باوکی زروبابل بوو، | 12 |
And after the removal to Babylon, Jeconiah begat Shealtiel; and Shealtiel begat Zerubbabel;
| زروبابل باوکی ئەبیهود بوو، ئەبیهود باوکی ئەلیاقیم بوو، ئەلیاقیم باوکی ئازور بوو، | 13 |
and Zerubbabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
| ئازور باوکی سادۆق بوو، سادۆق باوکی ئەکیم بوو، ئەکیم باوکی ئەلیهود بوو، | 14 |
and Azor begat Zadok; and Zadok begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
| ئەلیهود باوکی ئەلعازار بوو، ئەلعازار باوکی مەتان بوو، مەتان باوکی یاقوب بوو، | 15 |
and Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
| یاقوب باوکی یوسفی مێردی مریەم بوو، ئەوەی عیسای لێبوو، کە بە مەسیح ناودەبردرێت. | 16 |
and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
| بەم شێوەیە هەموو نەوەکان لە ئیبراهیمەوە هەتا داود چواردە نەوەن، لە داودەوە هەتا ڕاپێچکردنەکە بۆ بابل چواردە نەوەن، لە ڕاپێچکردنەکەشەوە بۆ بابل هەتا مەسیح چواردە نەوەن. | 17 |
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the removal to Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the removal to Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
| لەدایکبوونی عیسای مەسیح بەم شێوەیە بوو: کاتێک مریەمی دایکی دەستگیرانی یوسف بوو، پێش ئەوەی بگوازرێتەوە، دەرکەوت کە بەهۆی ڕۆحی پیرۆزەوە سکی پڕبووە. | 18 |
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was in this manner. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.
| یوسفی دەستگیرانی کە پیاوێکی چاک بوو، نەیویست ئابڕووی ببات، بڕیاری دا بە نهێنی دەستی لێ هەڵبگرێت. | 19 |
Then Joseph her husband, being righteous, and not willing to expose her to shame, purposed to put her away privately.
| کاتێک بیری لەم شتانە دەکردەوە، فریشتەیەکی یەزدان هاتە خەونی و پێی فەرموو: «ئەی یوسفی نەوەی داود، مەترسە لەوەی مریەم بهێنیت، چونکە ئەوەی ئەو سکی پێی هەیە لە ڕۆحی پیرۆزە. | 20 |
But while he thought on these things, lo! an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is by the Holy Spirit.
| کوڕێکی دەبێت ناوی دەنێیت عیسا، چونکە گەلەکەی لە گوناهەکانیان ڕزگار دەکات.» | 21 |
And she will bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he will save his people from their sins.
| ئەمانە هەمووی ڕوویدا تاکو ئەوەی یەزدان لە ڕێگەی پێغەمبەرەکە فەرموویەتی بێتە دی: | 22 |
Now all this took place, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
| [ئەوەتا پاکیزەیەک سکی دەبێت و کوڕێکی دەبێت، ناوی لێ دەنێن ئیمانوێل،] کە بە واتای خودا لەگەڵمانە دێت. | 23 |
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel;” that is, when interpreted, God-is with-us.
| کاتێک یوسف لە خەو هەستا، ئەوەی فریشتەکەی یەزدان فەرمانی پێدابوو ئەنجامی دا و ژنەکەی گواستەوە. | 24 |
Then Joseph, on waking up from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took to him his wife;
| بەڵام هەتا کوڕەکەی نەبوو لەگەڵی جووت نەبوو، ئینجا ناوی لێنا عیسا. | 25 |
and he knew her not till she had brought forth a son: and he called his name Jesus.
