| پاشان عیسا بەهۆی ڕۆحی پیرۆزەوە بردرایە چۆڵەوانی، تاکو لەلایەن ئیبلیسەوە تاقی بکرێتەوە. | 1 |
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
| دوای ئەوەی کە چل شەو و چل ڕۆژ بەڕۆژوو بوو، برسی بوو. | 2 |
After fasting forty days and nights, he was hungry.
| تاقیکەرەوە لێی هاتە پێش، پێی گوت: «ئەگەر تۆ کوڕی خودایت، بەم بەردانە بڵێ با ببن بە نان.» | 3 |
The tempter came and said to him, “If you really are the Son of God, order these stones to turn into bread.”
| بەڵام عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «نووسراوە: [مرۆڤ تەنها بە نان ناژیێت، بەڵکو بە هەر وشەیەک کە لە دەمی خوداوە دێتە دەرەوە.]» | 4 |
Jesus answered, “As Scripture says, ‘Human beings do not live by only eating bread, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
| ئینجا ئیبلیس بردییە شاری پیرۆز و لەسەر گوێسەبانەی پەرستگا ڕایگرت و | 5 |
Then the devil took him to the holy city and placed him on the top of the Temple.
| پێی گوت: «ئەگەر تۆ کوڕی خودایت خۆت هەڵبدە خوارەوە. لەبەر ئەوەی نووسراوە: «[سەبارەت بە تۆ فەرمان بە فریشتەکانی دەدات، لەسەر دەستیان هەڵتدەگرن، تاکو پێت بەر بەردێک نەکەوێت.]» | 6 |
“If you really are the son of God, then throw yourself off,” he told Jesus. “As Scripture says, ‘He will order his angels to save you from harm. They will catch you so that you won't fall by tripping over a stone.’”
| عیساش پێی فەرموو: «هەروەها نووسراوە: [یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان تاقی مەکەنەوە.]» | 7 |
Jesus answered, “As Scripture also says, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”
| دیسان ئیبلیس بۆ سەر شاخێکی زۆر بڵندی برد و هەموو شانشینەکانی جیهان و شکۆی ئەوانی پیشان دا و | 8 |
Then the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in all their glory.
| پێی گوت: «هەموو ئەمانەت دەدەمێ ئەگەر کڕنۆش ببەیت و بمپەرستی.» | 9 |
He said to Jesus, “I will give you all these if you fall down on your knees and worship me.”
| ئینجا عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ئەی شەیتان لێم دووربکەوە! چونکە نووسراوە: [کڕنۆش بۆ یەزدانی پەروەردگارت دەبەیت و تەنها ئەو دەپەرستیت.]» | 10 |
“Go away, Satan!” said Jesus. “As Scripture says, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve him, and him alone.’”
| ئیتر ئیبلیس وازی لێ هێنا و چەند فریشتەیەک هاتن و خزمەتیان دەکرد. | 11 |
Then the devil left him, and angels came to care for him.
| کاتێک عیسا بیستی یەحیا گیراوە، گەڕایەوە بۆ ناوچەی جەلیل. | 12 |
When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he returned to Galilee.
| ناسیرەی بەجێهێشت و هات لە شاری کەفەرناحوم نیشتەجێ بوو، کە لەسەر دەریاچەیە، لە سنووری زەبولون و نەفتالی، | 13 |
Leaving Nazareth, he came to stay in Capernaum, on the shores of the sea in the regions of Zebulun and Naphthali.
| تاکو ئەوەی لە ڕێگەی پێغەمبەر ئیشایاوە گوتراوە بێتە دی: | 14 |
This fulfilled what Isaiah the prophet said,
| [ئەی خاکی زەبولون و خاکی نەفتالی، ئەوەی لە ڕێگای دەریایە، ئەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون، جەلیلی ناجولەکەکان، | 15 |
“In the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphthali, on the road to the sea, across the Jordan River, in Galilee where the foreigners live:
| ئەو گەلەی لە تاریکیدا دانیشتووە، ڕووناکییەکی گەورەی بینی، دانیشتووان لە خاکی سێبەری مەرگ ڕووناکی بەسەریاندا هەڵهات.] | 16 |
The people living in darkness saw a great light; the light of dawn has shined on those living in the land of the shadow of death.”
| لەو کاتەوە عیسا دەستی کرد بە جاڕدان و دەیفەرموو: «تۆبە بکەن، چونکە پاشایەتی ئاسمان نزیک بووەتەوە.» | 17 |
From that time on Jesus began declaring his message, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has arrived!”
| کاتێک عیسا بە کەناری دەریاچەی جەلیلدا دەڕۆیشت، دوو برای بینی، شیمۆن کە پێی دەگوترا پەترۆس لەگەڵ ئەندراوسی برای، تۆڕیان فڕێدەدایە دەریاچەکە، چونکە ماسیگر بوون. | 18 |
As he was walking by the sea of Galilee Jesus saw two brothers. Simon, also called Peter, and his brother Andrew, were casting a net in the sea. They made their living by catching fish.
| عیسا پێی فەرموون: «وەرن دوام بکەون، دەتانکەم بە ڕاوکەری مرۆڤ.» | 19 |
“Come and follow me, and I will teach you how to catch people,” he told them.
| دەستبەجێ تۆڕەکانیان بەجێهێشت و دوای کەوتن. | 20 |
They left their nets immediately and followed him.
| کە لەوێ ڕۆیشت، دوو برای دیکەی بینی، یاقوبی کوڕی زەبدی و یۆحەنای برای، لە بەلەمێکدا لەگەڵ زەبدی باوکیان تۆڕەکانیان چاکدەکردەوە، ئەوانیشی بانگکرد. | 21 |
Continuing on he saw two other brothers, James and John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. He called them to follow him.
| دەستبەجێ بەلەمەکە و باوکیان بەجێهێشت و دوای عیسا کەوتن. | 22 |
They left the boat and their father immediately, and followed him.
| ئینجا عیسا بە هەموو جەلیلدا دەگەڕا، لە کەنیشتەکانیان خەڵکی فێر دەکرد و مزگێنی پاشایەتییەکەی ڕادەگەیاند، هەرچی نەخۆشی و نەساغی نێو خەڵک هەبوو چاکی دەکردنەوە. | 23 |
Jesus traveled throughout Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, telling the good news of the kingdom, and healing all the diseases and illnesses the people had.
| لەبەر ئەوە دەنگوباسی تەواوی سوریای گرتەوە، ئەوانیش هەموو نەخۆشێکیان دەهێنایە لای، بە جۆرەها دەرد و ئازارەوە، ئەوانەی کە ڕۆحی پیسیان تێدا بوو و فێدار و ئیفلیج بوون، چاکی دەکردنەوە. | 24 |
News about him spread throughout the province of Syria. They brought everyone who was sick to him: people troubled by seizures, the demon-possessed, those who were mentally ill, people who were paralyzed, and he healed all of them.
| جا خەڵکێکی زۆر لە جەلیل و دە شارەکە و ئۆرشەلیم و یەهودیا و ئەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون دوای کەوتن. | 25 |
Large crowds followed him from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and the region beyond Jordan.
