مەلاخی 2

1 «ئێستاش، ئەی کاهینەکان، ئەم ئاگادارکردنەوەیە بۆ ئێوەیە:

And now, this commandment is for you, O ye priests.

2 ئەگەر گوێ نەگرن و ئەگەر مکوڕ نەبوون لەسەر ئەوەی ڕێز لە ناوەکەم بگرن، نەفرەت دەنێرمە سەرتان و نەفرەت لە بەرەکەتەکانتان دەکەم. بەڵکو لەڕاستیدا نەفرەتم لێکردوون، چونکە مکوڕ نین لەسەر ئەوەی ڕێز لە ناوی من بگرن.» ئەمە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی سوپاسالارە.

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts: I will even send out against you a curse, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I will curse the same, because ye do not lay it to heart.

3 «لە بەر ئێوە نەوەکانتان سەرزەنشت دەکەم، ڕیخی قوربانی جەژنەکانتان بە دەموچاوتاندا دەکەم، جا لەگەڵیدا فڕێدەدرێن.

Behold, I will destroy unto you the seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your festive offerings; and one shall take you away with it.

4 ئینجا دەزانن کە من ئەم ئاگادارکردنەوەیەم بۆ ئێوە نارد، بۆ ئەوەی پەیمانەکەم لەگەڵ لێڤی بەردەوام بێت.» ئەمە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی سوپاسالارە.

And ye shall thereby know that I have sent out unto you this commandment, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the Lord of hosts.

5 «پەیمانەکەم لەگەڵی بۆ ژیان و ئاشتی بوو، جا هەردووکیانم پێدا، بۆ ئەوەی ڕێزم لێ بگرێت. ڕێزی لێم گرت و لە ناوەکەم ترسا.

My covenant was with him life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and because of my name he had dread.

6 فێرکردنی ڕاست لەسەر زاری بوو، ناڕەوایی لەسەر لێوەکانی نەبوو. بە ئاشتی و بە ڕێکی دۆستایەتی لەگەڵم کرد و خەڵکێکی زۆریشی لە خراپە گەڕاندەوە.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and falsehood was not found on his lips: in peace and equity he walked with me, and many did he turn away from iniquity.

7 «لەبەر ئەوەی دەبێت لێوەکانی کاهین زانین بپارێزن، خەڵک دێنە لای بۆ ئەوەی لە دەمی ئەو فێرکردنەکە بزانن، چونکە ئەو نێردراوی یەزدانی سوپاسالارە.

For the priest's lips are ever to keep knowledge, and the law are they to seek from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.

8 بەڵام ئێوە لە ڕێگاکە لاتاندا و فێرکردنەکانتان بۆ زۆر کەس بووە کۆسپ، پەیمانی لێڤیشتان شکاند.» ئەمە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی سوپاسالارە.

But ye are indeed departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble in the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of the Levite, saith the Lord of hosts.

9 «لەبەر ئەوە من لەلای هەموو گەلەکە ڕیسوام کردن و سووکایەتیم پێکردن، چونکە ڕێگاکانی منتان نەگرتەبەر و لایەنگریتان کرد لە جێبەجێکردنی فێرکردنەکە.»

Therefore have I also made you contemptible and low before all the people, in the same measure as ye do not keep my ways, but act with partiality in the law.

10 ئایا هەموومان یەک باوکمان نییە؟ ئایا یەک خودا بەدیی نەهێناوین؟ ئیتر بۆچی بە ناپاکی لەگەڵ یەکتری پەیمانی باوباپیرانمان دەشکێنین؟

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? [then] why shall we deal treacherously every man against his brother, to profane the covenant of our fathers?

11 یەهودا ناپاکی کرد. شتێکی قێزەون لە ئیسرائیل و لە ئۆرشەلیم ئەنجام درا: ژنیان هێنا لەو ژنانەی کە خوداوەندێکی بێگانە دەپەرستن، بەم شێوەیە یەهودا پەرستگای یەزدانی گڵاوکرد، ئەوەی خۆشی دەویست.

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination hath been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the sanctuary of the Lord which he loveth, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

12 هەرکەسێک کە ئەمە دەکات با یەزدانی سوپاسالار هیچ نەوەیەکی لە چادرەکانی یاقوب بۆ نەهێڵێتەوە، تەنانەت ئەگەر قوربانیش پێشکەش بە یەزدان بکات.

The Lord will cut off unto the man that doth this, son and grandson, out of the tents of Jacob, and him that bringeth near an offering unto the Lord of hosts.

13 شتێکی دیکە کە دەیکەن: بە فرمێسک قوربانگای یەزدان دادەپۆشن، بە گریان و هاوار، چونکە وەک جاران قوربانی ئێوە جێی ڕەزامەندی یەزدان نییە و بە پەسەند لە دەستتان وەرناگرێت.

And this do ye secondly, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping and with loud complaint, so that he turneth not any more his regard to the offerings, nor receiveth it with favor at your hand.

14 ئێوە لێم دەپرسن: «لەبەر چی؟» لەبەر ئەوەی یەزدان شایەتە لەنێوان تۆ و ژنەکەی تەمەنی گەنجیت، کە ناپاکیت لەگەڵی کرد، هەرچەندە ئەو هاوسەرتە و ئەو ژنەیە کە پەیمانی هاوسەرگیریت لەگەڵی هەیە.

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast indeed dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

15 ئایا خودا نەیکردنە یەک؟ ئێوە بە جەستە و بە ڕۆح هی خودان. ئیتر خودا داوای چی دەکات؟ نەوەی لەخواترستان هەبێت. لەبەر ئەوە بە ڕۆح ئاگاداری خۆتان بن و ناپاکی لە ژنی تەمەنی گەنجیەتیتان مەکەن.

And not one doth so who hath a remnant of a [good] spirit; for what desireth such a one? he seeketh [to possess] a godly posterity: therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none of you deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16 یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل دەفەرموێت: «ئەو پیاوەی کە ڕقی لە ژنەکەیەتی و تەڵاقی دەدات، توندوتیژی بەرامبەر بە کەسێک دەکات کە لەڕاستیدا دەبێت بیپارێزێت.» ئەمە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی سوپاسالارە. ئینجا بە ڕۆح ئاگاداری خۆتان بن و ناپاکی مەکەن.

For he hateth putting away [the wife], so hath said the Lord the God of Israel, and him who covereth his garment with violence, so hath said the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, and deal not treacherously.

17 بە قسەکانتان یەزدانتان ماندوو کرد. ئێوە دەپرسن: «بە چی ماندوومان کرد؟» بەوەی کە گوتتان: «ئەوەی خراپە بکات، لەبەرچاوی یەزدان چاکە، ئەو بەوان دڵخۆشە،» یان «خودای دادپەروەری لەکوێیە؟»

Ye have wearied the Lord with your words: yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? By your saying, Every one that doth evil is good in the eyes of the Lord, and in them he findeth delight; or else, Where is the God of justice!
