| ئەی ساوفیلۆسی پایەبەرز، زۆر کەس هەستان بە داڕشتنی چیرۆکی ئەو شتانەی لەلای ئێمە هاتنە دی، | 1 |
BECAUSE many have willed to record histories of those transactions of which we are persuaded, according to that which they have delivered to us,
| وەک ئەوەی لەلایەن ئەوانەوە پێمان گەیشت کە لە سەرەتاوە شایەتحاڵ و خزمەتکاری پەیامەکە بوون. | 2 |
(they) who from the first were eye-witnesses and ministers of his doctrine;
| لەدوای ئەوەی من لە سەرەتاوە پشکنینێکی وردم بۆ هەموو شتێک کرد، ئێستاش بە باشم زانی بە ڕیزبەندی بۆت بنووسم، | 3 |
it appeared also to me, that having been intimately near to them all, I should record every thing in its order for thee, illustrious Theophile,
| تاکو لە ڕاستی ئەو قسانە دڵنیابی کە فێرکراوی. | 4 |
that thou mayest know the truth of those doctrines in which thou hast been instructed.
| لەو سەردەمەی هێرۆدسی باوک پاشای یەهودیا بوو، کاهینێک لە نۆرەی نەوەی ئەبیا هەبوو کە ناوی زەکەریا بوو، ئەلیساباتی ژنیشی لە نەوەی هارون بوو. | 5 |
THERE was in the days of Herodes, king of the Jihudoyee, a certain priest whose name was Zakaria, of the service of the house of Abia, and his wife (was) of the daughters of Aharun; her name was Elishaba.
| هەردووکیان لەبەرچاوی خودا ڕاستودروست بوون، بێ گلەیی بوون لە پەیڕەوکردنی هەموو ڕاسپاردە و حوکمەکانی یەزدان. | 6 |
And they were both just before Aloha, and walked in all his commandments, and in the righteousness of the Lord, without blame.
| بەڵام منداڵیان نەدەبوو، چونکە ئەلیسابات نەزۆک بوو، هەردووکیشیان بە ساڵدا چووبوون. | 7 |
But they had no son because Elishaba was barren, and both had become many in their days.
| کاتێک زەکەریا لە نۆرەی کۆمەڵەکەی خۆیدا کاروباری کاهینیێتی جێبەجێ دەکرد لەبەردەم خودا، | 8 |
But it was while he was acting-as-priest in the order of his ministry before Aloha,
| بەگوێرەی نەریتی کاهینیێتی، تیروپشکی کەوتە سەر تاکو بچێتە ناو پەرستگای یەزدان و بخوور بسووتێنێت. | 9 |
according to the custom of the priesthood he came to set on incense, and entered into the temple of the Lord.
| لە کاتی سووتانی بخوورەکەدا، خەڵکی هەموو لە دەرەوە نوێژیان دەکرد. | 10 |
And all the congregation of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
| لەوێ فریشتەیەکی یەزدانی بۆ دەرکەوت، لەلای ڕاستی قوربانگای بخوور ڕاوەستابوو. | 11 |
And there appeared to him, to Zakaria, the angel of the Lord, standing on the right hand of the altar of incense.
| کاتێک زەکەریا فریشتەکەی بینی، پەشۆکا و ترسی لێ نیشت. | 12 |
And Zakaria trembled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him.
| بەڵام فریشتەکە پێی گوت: «زەکەریا مەترسە، چونکە پاڕانەوەکەت بیسترا، ئەلیساباتی ژنیشت کوڕێکی بۆت دەبێت و ناوی لێ دەنێیت یەحیا. | 13 |
And the angel said to him, Fear not, Zakaria, for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elishaba shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name Juchanon.
| ئەو دەبێتە مایەی خۆشی و شادی بۆ تۆ، زۆر کەس بە لەدایکبوونی دڵخۆش دەبن، | 14 |
And to thee shall be joy and exultation, and many shall rejoice in his birth:
| چونکە ئەو لەبەرچاوی یەزدان دەبێتە کەسێکی مەزن و پایەبەرز. هەرگیز شەراب و مەی ناخواتەوە. لە سکی دایکییەوە پڕدەبێت لە ڕۆحی پیرۆز و | 15 |
for he shall be great before the Lord, and wine and strong liquor shall he not drink, and with the Spirit of Holiness shall he be filled, from the womb of his mother.
| زۆر لە ڕۆڵەکانی ئیسرائیل بۆ لای یەزدانی پەروەردگاری خۆیان دەگەڕێنێتەوە. | 16 |
And many of the sons of Isroel shall he convert to the Lord their Aloha.
| بە ڕۆح و توانای ئەلیاسەوە پێش یەزدان دەکەوێت، تاکو دڵی باوکان بۆ لای منداڵەکان ڕابکێشێت و یاخیبووانیش بۆ لای دانایی ڕاستودروستان بگەڕێنێتەوە، بۆ ئەوەی گەلێکی ئامادە بۆ یەزدان پێکبهێنێت.» | 17 |
And he shall go before him in the spirit and the power of Elia the prophet, to turn the hearts of the fathers unto the children, and those who believe not to the knowledge of the righteous, and to prepare for the Lord a perfect people.
| زەکەریاش بە فریشتەکەی گوت: «چۆن لەمە دڵنیا بم، چونکە خۆم پیرم و ژنەکەشم بە ساڵدا چووە؟» | 18 |
And Zakaria said to the angel, How shall I know this? for I am old, and my wife many in her days.
| فریشتەکە وەڵامی دایەوە: «من جبرائیلم لەبەردەم خودا ڕادەوەستم، نێردراوم تاکو لەگەڵت بدوێم و ئەم مژدەیەت بدەمێ. | 19 |
And the angel answered and said to him, I am Gabriel, I stand before Aloha, and I have been sent to speak with thee and to announce to thee these things.
| ئەوەتا لە ئێستاوە تۆ لاڵ دەبیت و توانای قسەکردنت نامێنێت هەتا ئەو ڕۆژەی ئەم شتانە ڕوودەدەن، چونکە باوەڕت بە قسەکەم نەکرد، ئەوەی لە کاتی خۆیدا دێتە دی.» | 20 |
From henceforth thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be able to speak, till the day when these things shall be done, because thou hast not believed these words, which shall be fulfilled in their time.
| خەڵکەکە چاوەڕوانی زەکەریایان دەکرد و سەرسام ببوون لە دواکەوتنی لەناو پەرستگادا. | 21 |
But the people were standing, and expecting Zakaria. and were wondering at his delay in the temple.
| کاتێک هاتە دەرەوە نەیتوانی لەگەڵیان بدوێت، جا زانییان کە لە پەرستگادا بینینێکی بۆ ئاشکرا کراوە، چونکە بە ئیشارەت لەگەڵیان دەدوا و بە لاڵی مایەوە. | 22 |
But when Zakaria had come forth, he could not speak to them; and he made them understand that he had seen a vision in the temple, and signing he signed to them, and remained dumb.
| کاتێک ڕۆژانی خزمەتکردنەکەی تەواوبوو، گەڕایەوە ماڵ. | 23 |
And when the days of his service were fulfilled, he came to his house.
| دوای ئەو ڕۆژانە، ئەلیساباتی ژنی سکی پڕبوو، پێنج مانگ خۆی شاردەوە و دەیگوت: | 24 |
And it was after those days Elishaba his wife conceived, and she secluded herself five months.
| «یەزدان ئەمەی بۆ کردم، لەم ڕۆژانەدا چاکەی خۆی نیشان دا و ئابڕووی منی لەنێو خەڵکدا کڕییەوە.» | 25 |
And she said, These things hath the Lord done for me in the days of my desolation, to take away my reproach from among the children of men.
| کاتێک ئەلیسابات سکی شەش مانگ بوو، خودا جبرائیلی فریشتەی نارد بۆ شارێک لە ناوچەی جەلیل کە ناوی ناسیرە بوو، | 26 |
BUT in the sixth month Gabriel the angel was sent from before Aloha to Galila, to a city whose name (is) Natsrath,
| بۆ لای پاکیزەیەک کە دەستگیرانی پیاوێک بوو لە بنەماڵەی داود بە ناوی یوسف، ناوی پاکیزەکەش مریەم بوو. | 27 |
unto a Virgin espoused to a man whose name was Jauseph, of the house of David, and the name of the Virgin was Mariam.
| جبرائیل هاتە لای مریەم و گوتی: «سڵاو، ئەی ئەو کەسەی نیعمەتی خودات بەسەردا ڕژاوە، یەزدانت لەگەڵە.» | 28 |
And the angel entered to her, and said to her, Peace to thee, full of grace! our Lord is with thee, thou blessed among women!
| بەڵام ئەو بە پەیامەکە زۆر شێوا و بیری کردەوە دەبێت ئەمە چ جۆرە سڵاوێک بێت. | 29 |
But she, when she saw, was troubled at his words, and reasoned what this salutation was.
| فریشتەکە پێی گوت: «مەترسە مریەم، چونکە لەلای خودا ڕەزامەندیت بەدەستهێنا. | 30 |
And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mariam, for thou hast found favour with Aloha.
| ئەوەتا سکت دەبێت و کوڕێکت دەبێت ناوی لێ دەنێیت عیسا. | 31 |
For, behold, thou shalt conceive, and shalt bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jeshu.
| پایەبەرز دەبێت و بە کوڕی خودای هەرەبەرز ناودەبردرێت، خودای پەروەردگاریش تەختی داودی باوکی پێدەداتەوە. | 32 |
He will be great, and the Son of the Most High shall he be called, and Aloha the Lord shall give unto him the throne of David his father.
| هەتاهەتایە حوکمڕانی نەوەی یاقوب دەکات، شانشینەکەشی کۆتایی نایەت.» (aiōn g165) | 33 |
And he shall reign over the house of Jakub for ever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (aiōn g165)
| بەڵام مریەم بە فریشتەکەی گوت: «ئەمە چۆن دەبێت، کە من هێشتا پاکیزەم؟» | 34 |
And Mariam said to the angel, How shall this be, because a man is not known to me?
| فریشتەکە وەڵامی دایەوە: «ڕۆحی پیرۆز دێتە سەرت و هێزی خودای هەرەبەرز دەبێتە سایەی سەرت. لەبەر ئەوە ئەو پیرۆزەی لێت دەبێت بە کوڕی خودا ناودەبردرێت. | 35 |
The angel answered and said to her, The Spirit of Holiness shall come, and the Power of the Most High shall shadow over thee; on account of this He who (shall be) born from thee is the Holy, and the Son of Aloha shall be called.
| ئەوەتا ئەلیساباتی خزمیشت بەو پیرییە سکی پڕە بە کوڕێک. ئەوەی پێیان دەگوت نەزۆک سکی شەش مانگە، | 36 |
And behold, Elishaba thy kinswoman, she also beareth a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month to her, -to her who is called the barren.
| چونکە هیچ شتێک لەلای خودا مەحاڵ نییە.» | 37 |
For nothing is difficult to Aloha.
| مریەم گوتی: «ئەوەتا من کارەکەری یەزدانم. ئەوەی تۆ دەیفەرموویت با بێتە دی.» فریشتەکەش بەجێی هێشت. | 38 |
And Mariam said, Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord, be it unto me as thou hast said. And the angel went from her.
| لەو ڕۆژانەدا، مریەم هەستا و خێرا بۆ شارۆچکەیەک چوو لە ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی هەرێمی یەهودیا. | 39 |
AND Mariam arose in those days, and went with haste to the mountain to a city of Jehud;
| چووە ماڵی زەکەریا و سڵاوی لە ئەلیسابات کرد. | 40 |
and she entered into the house of Zakaria, and saluted Elishaba.
| کاتێک ئەلیسابات گوێی لە سڵاوەکەی مریەم بوو، منداڵەکە لە سکیدا کەوتە جوڵەجوڵ و ئەلیسابات پڕبوو لە ڕۆحی پیرۆز. | 41 |
And it was that when Elishaba heard the salutation of Mariam, the infant leaped in her womb. And she was filled with the Spirit of Holiness;
| ئەلیسابات بە دەنگێکی بەرز هاواری کرد: «لەنێو ژناندا بەرەکەتداریت، بەرهەمی سکت بەرەکەتدار دەبێت! | 42 |
and she cried with a loud voice, and said unto Mariam, Blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb!
| بۆ من کێم تاکو دایکی گەورەکەم بێت بۆ لام؟ | 43 |
Whence unto me is this, That the mother of my Lord should come to me?
| چونکە هەرکە دەنگی سڵاوەکەت بەر گوێم کەوت، منداڵەکە لە خۆشیدا لە سکمدا هەڵبەزییەوە. | 44 |
For, lo, as fell the voice of thy salutation on my ears, For great Joy leaped the infant in my womb.
| خۆزگە دەخوازرێت بەوەی باوەڕی هێناوە کە لە یەزدانەوە چی پێ گوتراوە دێتە دی.» | 45 |
And happy is she who hath believed, For there is a fulfilment of those things which have been spoken to her from the Lord.
| مریەمیش گوتی: «گیانم ستایشی یەزدان دەکات، | 46 |
And Mariam said: My soul doth magnify the Lord,
| ڕۆحم بە خودای ڕزگارکەرم دڵشادە، | 47 |
And my spirit rejoiceth in Aloha my Saviour,
| چونکە سەیری بێفیزی کارەکەرەکەی کرد. ئەوەتا لە ئێستاوە هەموو نەوەکان خۆزگە بە من دەخوازن، | 48 |
Who hath looked upon the lowliness of his handmaid: For, behold, from now all generations shall give blessedness to me.
| چونکە توانادار کاری گەورەی بۆ من ئەنجام دا، پیرۆزە ناوی ئەو. | 49 |
Because he hath done for me great things, he who is mighty, And holy is his name.
| بەزەییەکەی بۆ ئەوانەیە کە لێی دەترسن، نەوە دوای نەوە. | 50 |
And his grace is for ages and generations Upon those who fear him.
| بە بازووی کاری بەهێزی ئەنجام دا، ئەوانەی بە بۆچوونەکانی دڵیان لووتبەرز بوون، پەرتوبڵاوی کردنەوە. | 51 |
He hath wrought victory with his arm; He hath scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
| تەختی توانادارەکانی سەرەوژێر کردووە و بێفیزەکانی بڵند کردەوە. | 52 |
He hath overturned the mighty from their thrones, And hath exalted the humble.
| برسییەکانی لە خێروبێر تێر کرد، دەوڵەمەندانی بە دەستی بەتاڵ ڕەوانە کردەوە. | 53 |
The hungry he hath satisfied with good things, And the rich he hath sent away empty.
| بە یارمەتیدانی گەلی ئیسرائیلی بەندەی خۆی هەتاهەتایە بەزەییەکەی بەبیر هێنایەوە | 54 |
He hath helped Isroel his servant, And hath remembered his mercy;
| لەگەڵ ئیبراهیم و نەوەکەی، هەروەک بەڵێنی بە باوباپیرانمان دا.» (aiōn g165) | 55 |
As he spake with our fathers, With Abraham and with his seed for ever. (aiōn g165)
| مریەم لەلای ئەلیسابات نزیکەی سێ مانگ مایەوە، پاشان گەڕایەوە بۆ ماڵەکەی خۆی. | 56 |
And Mariam stayed with Elishaba three months, and returned to her house.
| ئەلیسابات کاتی منداڵبوونی هات و کوڕێکی بوو. | 57 |
BUT to Elishaba had come the time that she should give birth, and she gave birth to a son.
| جا دراوسێ و خزمانی بیستیان یەزدان دەرگای بەزەیی فراوانی خۆی بۆ کردووەتەوە، لەگەڵی شادمان بوون. | 58 |
And her neighbours and the sons of her family heard that Aloha had magnified his grace upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
| لە ڕۆژی هەشتەمدا بۆ خەتەنەکردنی منداڵەکە هاتن، لەسەر ناوی باوکی ناویان لێنا زەکەریا. | 59 |
And it was the eighth day, and they came to circumcise the child; and they called him by the name of his father, Zakaria.
| بەڵام دایکی گوتی: «نەخێر، ناوی دەنرێت یەحیا.» | 60 |
And his mother answered and said to them, Not so; but he shall be called Juchanon.
| پێیان گوت: «کەس لە خزمانت بەم ناوە ناونەنراوە.» | 61 |
And they said to her, No man in thy kindred is called by this name.
| ئینجا ئاماژەیان بۆ باوکی کرد، دەیەوێت چ ناوێکی لێ بنێت. | 62 |
And they signed to his father (to show) how he willed they should call him.
| تەختەیەکی داوا کرد و لەسەری نووسی: «ناوی یەحیایە.» هەموو سەرسام بوون. | 63 |
And he requested a tablet, and wrote, and said, Juchanan is his name. And every man wondered.
| دەستبەجێ دەم و زمانی زەکەریا کرایەوە، دەستی کرد بە قسەکردن و ستایشی خودا. | 64 |
And immediately his mouth and his tongue were opened, and he spake, and blessed Aloha.
| هەموو دراوسێکانیان ترسیان لێ نیشت و لە سەراپای ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی یەهودیا هەموو ئەم شتانە بوون بە قسە و باسی سەر زاری خەڵکی. | 65 |
And there was fear upon all around them; and in all the hill country of Jehud were these things spoken.
| هەموو ئەوانەی ئەم باسەیان بیست لە دڵی خۆیاندا گوتیان: «ئایا ئەم منداڵە دەبێتە چی؟» چونکە دەستی یەزدانی لەگەڵ بوو. | 66 |
And all who heard reasoned in their hearts, and said, What is this child to be? And the hand of the Lord was with him.
| زەکەریای باوکیشی پڕبوو لە ڕۆحی پیرۆز و پێشبینی کرد و گوتی: | 67 |
And Zakaria his father was filled with the Spirit of Holiness, and he prophesied, and said:
| «ستایش بۆ یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل، چونکە گەلەکەی بەسەرکردەوە و کڕییەوە. | 68 |
Blessed be the Lord, the Aloha of Israel; For he hath visited his people, and wrought for him redemption,
| هێزی ڕزگاریمانی هەستاندەوە، لە بنەماڵەی داودی بەندەی، | 69 |
And hath raised up for us the horn of redemption In the house of David his servant;
| وەک چۆن لە کۆنەوە لە ڕێگەی پێغەمبەرە پیرۆزەکانییەوە دواوە، (aiōn g165) | 70 |
As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, Who have been from of old, (aiōn g165)
| بۆ ڕزگاربوون لە دەست دوژمنان و هەموو ناحەزانمان، | 71 |
That we should be delivered from our adversaries, And from the hand of all who hate us;
| هەروەها بۆ بەخشینی بەزەیی بە باوباپیرانمان و پەیوەستبوون بە پەیمانە پیرۆزەکەی، | 72 |
To perform his grace with our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant;
| واتە ئەو سوێندەی کە بۆ ئیبراهیمی باپیرە گەورەمانی خوارد: | 73 |
The oath which he sware to Abraham our father, -
| کە ئێمە لە دەست دوژمن ڕزگارمان بێت و بێ ترس ئەو بپەرستین، | 74 |
That to us he would grant That, being delivered from the hand of our adversaries, Without fear we might serve before him
| هەموو ڕۆژانی ژیانمان بە پیرۆزی و ڕاستودروستی لەبەردەمیدا بین. | 75 |
All our days in righteousness.
| «تۆش ئەی منداڵ، بە پێغەمبەری خودای هەرەبەرز ناودەبردرێیت، چونکە پێش یەزدان دەکەویت، تاکو ڕێگای بۆ ئامادە بکەیت، | 76 |
And thou, child, the Prophet of the Most High Shalt thou be called; For thou shalt go before the face of the Lord, And thou shalt prepare his way;
| تاکو بە گەلەکەی ڕابگەیەنیت بە لێخۆشبوونی گوناهەکانیان ڕزگاریان دەبێت، | 77 |
To give the knowledge of salvation to his people In the forgiveness of their sins,
| بەهۆی بەزەییە بەسۆزەکەی خودامانەوە، کە بەهۆیەوە ڕووناکی لە بەرزاییەوە بەسەرماندا دەدرەوشێتەوە، | 78 |
Through the compassions of the grace of our Aloha; Whereby the morn-splendour shall visit us from on high,
| تاکو بەسەر ئەوانەی لە تاریکی و لە سێبەری مەرگدا دانیشتوون بدرەوشێتەوە، بۆ ئەوەی پێیەکانمان بە ڕێگای ئاشتیدا ببات.» | 79 |
To illumine those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death. And to direct our feet into the way of peace.
| منداڵەکەش گەشەی دەکرد و لە ڕۆحدا بەهێز دەبوو، لە چۆڵەوانی مایەوە هەتا ئەو ڕۆژەی کە خۆی بۆ گەلی ئیسرائیل دەرخست. | 80 |
And the child grew, and was strong in the spirit, and was in the desert till the day of his manifestation unto Isroel.
