| ئینجا فریشتەی یەزدان لە گلگالەوە چوو بۆ بۆخیم و فەرمووی: «لە میسرەوە دەرمهێنان و ئێوەم هێنا بۆ ئەو خاکەی سوێندم بۆ باوباپیرانتان خوارد و فەرمووم:”هەرگیز پەیمانی خۆم لەگەڵتان ناشکێنم. | 1 |
And an angel of Yhwh came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
| ئێوەش لەگەڵ خەڵکی ئەم خاکە پەیمان مەبەستن و قوربانگاکانیان بڕووخێنن.“بەڵام گوێڕایەڵی فەرمانم نەبوون، ئایا بۆچی ئەمەتان کرد؟ | 2 |
And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?
| لەبەر ئەوە ئێستا پێتان دەڵێم: لەبەردەمتان دەریانناکەم، بەڵکو دەبن بە دڕک لە کەلەکەتان و خوداوەندەکانیان دەبن بە تەڵە و داو بۆتان.» | 3 |
Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.
| کاتێک فریشتەی یەزدان ئەم قسانەی بە هەموو نەوەی ئیسرائیل فەرموو، گەل بە دەنگی بەرز گریان. | 4 |
And it came to pass, when the angel of Yhwh spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
| بۆیە ئەو شوێنەیان ناونا بۆخیم و لەوێ قوربانییان بۆ یەزدان سەربڕی. | 5 |
And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto Yhwh.
| دوای ئەوەی کە یەشوع گەلەکەی ڕەوانە کردبوو، نەوەی ئیسرائیل هەریەکەیان چوونە لای میراتەکەی خۆیان بۆ ئەوەی دەست بەسەر زەوییەکەدا بگرن. | 6 |
And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land.
| گەلیش بە درێژایی سەردەمی یەشوع یەزدانیان دەپەرست، هەروەها بە درێژایی سەردەمی پیران کە لەدوای یەشوع تەمەنیان درێژەی کێشا و هەموو ئەو کارانەیان بینی کە یەزدانی مەزن بۆ ئیسرائیلی ئەنجام دا. | 7 |
And the people served Yhwh all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of Yhwh, that he did for Israel.
| یەشوعی کوڕی نونی بەندەی یەزدانیش لە تەمەنی سەد و دە ساڵیدا مرد. | 8 |
And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Yhwh, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
| لە سنووری میراتەکەی لە تیمنەت حەرەس لە ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی ئەفرایم لە باکووری کێوی گاعەش ناشتیان. | 9 |
And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath–heres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash.
| هەموو ئەو نەوەیەش چوونە پاڵ باوکانیان، نەوەیەکی دیکە لەدوای ئەوان هاتن نە یەزدانیان دەناسی و نە ئەو کارانەیان دەناسی کە بۆ ئیسرائیلی کردبوو. | 10 |
And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not Yhwh, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.
| ئیتر نەوەی ئیسرائیل لەبەرچاوی یەزدان خراپەکارییان کرد و بەعلەکانیان پەرست. | 11 |
And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of Yhwh, and served Baalim:
| وازیان لە یەزدانی پەروەردگاری باوباپیرانیان هێنا، ئەوەی کە لە خاکی میسر دەریهێنان و دوای خوداوەندە جۆراوجۆرەکانی گەلانی دەوروبەریان کەوتن و کڕنۆشیان بۆ بردن، | 12 |
And they forsook Yhwh God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked Yhwh to anger.
| چونکە وازیان لێ هێنا و بەعل و عەشتۆرەتەکانیان پەرست. | 13 |
And they forsook Yhwh, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.
| تووڕەیی یەزدان لە نەوەی ئیسرائیل هاتە جۆش، بۆیە ئەوانی دایە دەست تاڵانکەران تاڵانیان بکەن و ڕادەستی دوژمنەکانی دەوروبەریانی کردن، ئیتر نەیانتوانی بەرامبەر بە دوژمنەکانیان بوەستن. | 14 |
And the anger of Yhwh was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.
| بۆ هەر جەنگێک دەچوون یەزدان دژایەتی دەکردن بۆ بەزاندنیان، هەروەک یەزدان فەرمووی و سوێندی بۆ خواردن. ئیتر ئەمە زۆر تەنگی پێ هەڵچنین. | 15 |
Whithersoever they went out, the hand of Yhwh was against them for evil, as Yhwh had said, and as Yhwh had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.
| ئینجا یەزدان ڕابەری بۆ هەڵدەستاندنەوە و لە دەستی تاڵانکەرانیان ڕزگاریان دەکردن. | 16 |
Nevertheless Yhwh raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.
| بەڵام نە تەنها گوێیان لە ڕابەرەکانیان نەگرت، بەڵکو لەشفرۆشییان کرد بەوەی دوای خوداوەندانی دیکە کەوتن و کڕنۆشیان بۆ بردن. بە خێرایی لەو ڕێیەی باوکانیان لەسەری دەڕۆیشتن لایاندا و گوێڕایەڵی فەرمانەکانی یەزدان نەبوون. | 17 |
And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of Yhwh; but they did not so.
| هەر جارێک یەزدان ڕابەری بۆ هەستاندبانایەوە، یەزدان لەگەڵ ڕابەرەکە دەبوو، بە درێژایی ژیانی ڕابەرەکە لە دەستی دوژمنانیان ڕزگاری دەکردن، چونکە دڵی یەزدان پێیان سووتا لەبەر ناڵەیان بەهۆی ئەوانەی تەنگیان پێ هەڵچنین و دەیانچەوساندنەوە. | 18 |
And when Yhwh raised them up judges, Then Yhwh was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented Yhwh because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.
| بەڵام کاتێک ڕابەرەکە دەمرد دەگەڕانەوە و لە باوکانیان زیاتر کاری قێزەونیان دەکرد، بەوەی دوای خودای دیکە دەکەوتن بۆ ئەوەی بیانپەرستن و کڕنۆشیان بۆ ببەن، وازیان لە نەریتە خراپەکانیان و ڕەفتارە کەللەڕەقەکانیان نەدەهێنا. | 19 |
And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.
| لەبەر ئەوە تووڕەیی یەزدان بەسەر ئیسرائیلدا جۆشا و فەرمووی: «لەبەر ئەوەی ئەم گەلە لەو پەیمانەی فەرمانم دا بە باوکانیان شکاندیان و گوێیان لە دەنگم نەگرت، | 20 |
And the anger of Yhwh was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;
| ئیتر منیش هیچ کەسێک لەبەردەمیان دەرناکەم، لەو نەتەوانەی کە یەشوع لە کاتی مردنیدا بەجێی هێشتن. | 21 |
I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:
| بەکاریاندەهێنم بۆ ئەوەی ئیسرائیلیان پێ تاقی بکەمەوە و بزانم ئاخۆ وەک باوکانیان ڕێچکەی یەزدان دەگرنەبەر و پەیڕەوی دەکەن یان نا.» | 22 |
That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of Yhwh to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.
| ئیتر یەزدان وازی لەو نەتەوانە هێنابوو و بە خێرایی دەرینەکردبوون و نەیخستنە ژێر دەستی یەشوعەوە. | 23 |
Therefore Yhwh left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
