| یەفتاحی گلعادی جەنگاوەرێکی بەهێز بوو، کوڕی لەشفرۆشێک بوو، گلعادیش باوکی بوو. | 1 |
And Jephthah the Gileadite he was a mighty [man] of strength and he [was] [the] son of a woman a prostitute and he fathered Gilead Jephthah.
| ژنەکەی گلعاد چەند کوڕێکی بوو، کاتێک کوڕەکان گەورە بوون یەفتاحیان دەرکرد و پێیان گوت: «نابیت بە میراتگر لە ماڵی باوکمان، چونکە تۆ کوڕی ژنێکی دیکەیت.» | 2 |
And she bore [the] wife of Gilead to him sons and they grew up [the] sons of the wife and they drove out Jephthah and they said to him not you will have an inheritance in [the] house of father our for [are] [the] son of a woman another you.
| بۆیە یەفتاح لە دەست براکانی هەڵات و لە خاکی تۆڤ نیشتەجێ بوو، چەند پیاوێکی یاخی و چاونەترس لە دەوری کۆبوونەوە و دوای کەوتن. | 3 |
And he fled Jephthah [away] from before brothers his and he dwelt in [the] land of Tob and they joined themselves to Jephthah men unprincipled and they went out with him.
| ئینجا پاش ماوەیەک عەمۆنییەکان لە دژی ئیسرائیل جەنگان. | 4 |
And it was from days and they fought [the] people of Ammon with Israel.
| کاتێک عەمۆنییەکان لە دژی ئیسرائیل جەنگان، پیرانی گلعاد چوون بۆ ئەوەی یەفتاح لە خاکی تۆڤەوە بهێنن. | 5 |
And it was just when they fought [the] people of Ammon with Israel and they went [the] elders of Gilead to fetch Jephthah from [the] land of Tob.
| بە یەفتاحیان گوت: «وەرە ببە بە سەرکردەمان هەتا لە دژی عەمۆنییەکان بجەنگین.» | 6 |
And they said to Jephthah come! and you will become of us a commander so let us fight against [the] people of Ammon.
| یەفتاحیش بە پیرانی گلعادی گوت: «ئایا ئێوە نەبوون کە ڕقتان لێم بووەوە و لە ماڵی باوکم دەرتانکردم؟ بۆچی ئێستا هاتوون بۆ لام کە لە تەنگانە دان؟» | 7 |
And he said Jephthah to [the] elders of Gilead ¿ not you did you hate me and did you drive out? me from [the] house of father my and why? have you come to me now just when [is] distress to you.
| پیرانی گلعادیش بە یەفتاحیان گوت: «بۆیە ئێستا گەڕاوینەتەوە بۆ لات هەتا لەگەڵمان بێیت و لە دژی عەمۆنییەکان بجەنگین و ببیت بە سەرکردەمان بەسەر هەموو دانیشتووانی گلعاد.» | 8 |
And they said [the] elders of Gilead to Jephthah therefore now we have returned to you and you will come with us and you will fight against [the] people of Ammon and you will become of us chief of all [the] inhabitants of Gilead.
| یەفتاحیش بە پیرانی گلعادی گوت: «ئەگەر منتان گەڕاندەوە بۆ جەنگ لە دژی عەمۆنییەکان و یەزدان ئەوانی بەدەستمەوە دا، ئەوا بەڕاستی من دەبمە سەرکردەتان؟» | 9 |
And he said Jephthah to [the] elders of Gilead if [are] bringing back you me to fight against [the] people of Ammon and he will deliver up Yahweh them before me I I will become of you chief.
| پیرانی گلعادیش بە یەفتاحیان گوت: «با یەزدان لەنێوانمان شایەت بێت، بە دڵنیاییەوە ئاوا دەکەین بەپێی ئەوەی گوتت.» | 10 |
And they said [the] elders of Gilead to Jephthah Yahweh he will be hearing between us if not according to word your so we will do.
| ئینجا یەفتاح لەگەڵ پیرانی گلعاددا ڕۆیشت و گەل کردیان بەسەرکردە و فەرماندەی خۆیان و یەفتاحیش هەموو قسەکانی خۆی لە میچپا لەبەردەم یەزدان دووبارە کردەوە. | 11 |
And he went Jephthah with [the] elders of Gilead and they made the people him over them into chief and into commander and he spoke Jephthah all words his before Yahweh in Mizpah.
| ئینجا یەفتاح چەند نێردراوێکی بۆ لای پاشای عەمۆنییەکان ڕەوانە کرد و گوتی: «چیم لەگەڵ تۆ هەیە، تۆ هاتوویتە سەرم هەتا لە خاکەکەم لە دژم بجەنگیت؟» | 12 |
And he sent Jephthah messengers to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon saying what? [is] to me and to you that you have come to me to wage war against land my.
| پاشای عەمۆنییەکانیش بە نێردراوەکانی یەفتاحی گوت: «لەبەر ئەوەی ئیسرائیل لە کاتی هاتتنیدا لە میسر خاکەکەی بردووم، لە ئەرنۆنەوە هەتا یەبۆق و هەتا ڕووباری ئوردون، ئێستاش بە ئاشتی بیگەڕێنەوە.» | 13 |
And he said [the] king of [the] people of Ammon to [the] messengers of Jephthah that it took Israel land my when came up it from Egypt from [the] Arnon and to the Jabbok and to the Jordan and therefore restore! them in peace.
| ئینجا یەفتاح دووبارە چەند نێردراوێکی بۆ لای پاشای عەمۆنییەکان ڕەوانە کردەوە و | 14 |
And he repeated again Jephthah and he sent messengers to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon.
| پێی گوت: «یەفتاح ئاوا دەڵێت: ئیسرائیل خاکی مۆئاب و خاکی عەمۆنییەکانی نەبردووە، | 15 |
And he said to him thus he says Jephthah not it has taken Israel [the] land of Moab and [the] land of [the] people of Ammon.
| چونکە لە کاتی هاتنی ئیسرائیل لە میسرەوە بەناو چۆڵەوانیدا هەتا دەریای سوور ڕۆیشت و هات بۆ قادێش. | 16 |
That when came up they from Egypt and it went Israel in the wilderness to [the] sea of reed[s] and it came Kadesh towards.
| ئیتر ئیسرائیل چەند نێردراوێکی نارد بۆ لای پاشای ئەدۆم و گوتی:”لێمانگەڕێ با بەناو خاکەکەتدا تێپەڕ بین،“بەڵام پاشای ئەدۆم گوێی نەگرت. هەروەها نێردراویان بۆ لای پاشای مۆئاب نارد، بەڵام ڕازی نەبوو. ئینجا نەوەی ئیسرائیل لە قادێش مانەوە. | 17 |
And it sent Israel messengers - to [the] king of Edom - saying let me pass please in land your and not he listened [the] king of Edom and also to [the] king of Moab it sent and not he was willing and it remained Israel at Kadesh.
| «ئینجا بەناو چۆڵەوانیدا ڕۆیشتن و بەدەوری خاکی ئەدۆم و خاکی مۆئابدا سووڕانەوە، لەلای ڕۆژهەڵاتەوە هاتن بۆ خاکی مۆئاب و لە کەناری ئەرنۆن چادریان هەڵدا، نەهاتنە ناو خاکی مۆئاب، چونکە ڕووباری ئەرنۆن سنووری مۆئاب بوو. | 18 |
And it went in the wilderness and it went around [the] land of Edom and [the] land of Moab and it came from [the] rising of [the] sun of [the] land of Moab and they encamped! on [the] other side of [the] Arnon and not they went in [the] territory of Moab for [the] Arnon [was] [the] border of Moab.
| «پاشان ئیسرائیل چەند نێردراوێکی بۆ لای سیحۆنی پاشای ئەمۆرییەکان و پاشای حەشبۆن نارد و پێی گوتن:”لێمانگەڕێن با بەناو خاکەکەتاندا تێپەڕین بۆ شوێنەکەمان.“ | 19 |
And it sent Israel messengers to Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] [the] king of Heshbon and it said to him Israel let us pass please in land your to own place my.
| بەڵام سیحۆن متمانەی بە ئیسرائیل نەبوو بەناو سنوورەکەیدا تێبپەڕێت، بەڵکو سیحۆن هەموو هێزەکانی کۆکردەوە و لە یەهەچ چادریان هەڵدا و لە دژی ئیسرائیل جەنگان. | 20 |
And not he trusted Sihon Israel to pass in territory his and he gathered Sihon all people his and they encamped at Jahaz and he fought with Israel.
| «ئینجا یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل سیحۆن و هەموو سوپاکەی دا بەدەست نەوەی ئیسرائیلەوە و ئەوانیان بەزاند. ئیتر ئیسرائیل بوو بە خاوەنی هەموو زەوی ئەمۆرییەکان و دانیشتووانی ئەو خاکە، | 21 |
And he gave Yahweh [the] God of Israel Sihon and all people his in [the] hand of Israel and they defeated them and it took possession of Israel all [the] land of the Amorite[s] [who] dwelt of the land that.
| دەستیان بەسەر هەموو سنووری ئەمۆرییەکاندا گرت، لە ئەرنۆنەوە هەتا یەبۆق و لە چۆڵەوانییەوە هەتا ڕووباری ئوردون. | 22 |
And they took possession of all [the] territory of the Amorite[s] from [the] Arnon and to the Jabbok and from the wilderness and to the Jordan.
| «ئێستاش کە یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل ئەمۆرییەکانی لەبەردەم ئیسرائیلی گەلی خۆی دەرکردووە، ئایا بە چ مافێک تۆ خاوەنداریێتی دەکەیت؟ | 23 |
And now Yahweh - [the] God of Israel he has dispossessed the Amorite[s] from before people his Israel and you will you take possession of? it.
| ئایا نابیتە خاوەنی ئەوەی کە کەمۆشی خوداوەندت پێت دەدات؟ ئێمەش خاوەنی هەموو ئەوانەین کە یەزدانی پەروەردگارمان لەبەردەمماندا وەدەرینان. | 24 |
¿ Not [that] which he will cause to possess you Chemosh god your it will you take possession of and all that he has dispossessed Yahweh God our from before us it we will take possession of.
| ئێستاش ئایا تۆ بەڕاستی لە بالاقی کوڕی چیپوری پاشای مۆئاب چاکتریت؟ ئایا ئەو بەربەرەکانێی ئیسرائیلی کرد، یاخود لە دژیان جەنگا؟ | 25 |
And now ¿ really good [are] you more than Balak [the] son of Zippor [the] king of Moab ¿ really did he quarrel with Israel or? ever did he wage war against them.
| ئەو کاتەی ئیسرائیل لە حەشبۆن و گوندەکانی و عەرۆعێر و گوندەکانی و هەموو شارۆچکەکانی کەناری ئەرنۆن سێ سەد ساڵ نیشتەجێ بوو، بۆچی لەو کاتەدا بەدەستت نەهێنایەوە؟ | 26 |
When dwelt Israel in Heshbon and in daughters its and in Aroer and in daughters its and in all the cities which [were] on [the] sides of [the] Arnon three hundred year[s] and why? not did you recover [them] at the time that.
| من هیچ گوناهم دەرهەق بە تۆ نەکردووە، بەڵام تۆ خراپەم لەگەڵ دەکەیت بە شەڕکردن لەگەڵ من. با ئەمڕۆ یەزدانی دادوەر حوکم لەنێوان ئیسرائیل و عەمۆنییەکاندا بدات.» | 27 |
And I not I have sinned to you and you [are] doing with me evil by waging war against me may he judge Yahweh the judge this day between [the] people of Israel and between [the] people of Ammon.
| بەڵام پاشای عەمۆنییەکان گوێی لە قسەکانی یەفتاح نەگرت کە بۆی نارد. | 28 |
And not he listened [the] king of [the] people of Ammon to [the] words of Jephthah which he sent to him.
| جا ڕۆحی یەزدان هاتە سەر یەفتاح. لە گلعاد و مەنەشە پەڕییەوە و میچپای گلعادیشی تێپەڕاند، لەوێشەوە بۆ هێرشکردنە سەر عەمۆنییەکان پێشڕەویی کرد. | 29 |
And it was on Jephthah [the] spirit of Yahweh and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh and he passed through Mizpah of Gilead and from Mizpah of Gilead he he passed on [the] people of Ammon.
| ئینجا یەفتاح نەزری بۆ یەزدان کرد و گوتی: «ئەگەر عەمۆنییەکانت دا بەدەستمەوە، | 30 |
And he vowed Jephthah a vow to Yahweh and he said certainly [if] you will give [the] people of Ammon in hand my.
| ئەوا لە کاتی گەڕانەوەمدا بە سەرکەوتوویی لەلای عەمۆنییەکانەوە، ئەوەی بۆ پێشوازیلێکردنم لە دەرگای ماڵەکەمەوە بێتە دەرەوە، ئەوە بۆ یەزدان دەبێت و وەک قوربانی سووتاندن پێشکەشی دەکەم.» | 31 |
And it will be whatever comes out which it will come out from [the] doors of house my to meet me when return I in peace from [the] people of Ammon and it will belong to Yahweh and I will offer up it a burnt offering.
| ئینجا یەفتاح پەڕییەوە بۆ عەمۆنییەکان بۆ جەنگ لە دژیان و یەزدان ئەوانی دایە دەستی. | 32 |
And he passed on Jephthah to [the] people of Ammon to fight against them (and he gave them *L(abh)*) Yahweh in hand his.
| لەنێوان عەرۆعێرەوە و مینیت هەتا ئابێل کەرامیم بیست شارۆچکەی وێران کرد و بەم شێوەیە عەمۆنییەکان کەوتنە ژێردەستی نەوەی ئیسرائیل. | 33 |
And he defeated them from Aroer and until coming you Minnith twenty citi[es] and to Abel Keramim a defeat great very and they were subdued [the] people of Ammon from before [the] people of Israel.
| پاشان یەفتاح گەڕایەوە بۆ میچپا بۆ ماڵەکەی و تەماشای کرد وا کچەکەی بە دەفلێدان و سەماکردنەوە هاتووەتە دەرەوە بۆ پێشوازیلێکردنی. ئەو کچەش تاقانە بوو، جگە لەو کوڕ و کچی دیکەی نەبوو. | 34 |
And he came Jephthah Mizpah to house his and there! daughter his [was] coming out to meet him with tambourines and with dancing and only she [was] an only [child] not [belonged] to him from him a son or a daughter.
| لەو کاتەدا کە چاوی پێکەوت جلەکانی دادڕی و گوتی: «ئای کچەکەم ئەژنۆت شکاندم و ژیانت لێ تاڵ کردم، چونکە سوێندم بۆ یەزدان خواردووە و ناتوانم لێی پاشگەز ببمەوە.» | 35 |
And it was when saw he her and he tore clothes his and he said alas! O daughter my certainly you have brought low me and you you are among [those who] trouble me and I I have opened mouth my to Yahweh and not I am able to turn back.
| ئەویش پێی گوت: «ئەی باوکە تۆ نەزرت بۆ یەزدان کردووە. بەوەم لەگەڵ بکە کە لە دەمت هاتووەتە دەرەوە، چونکە یەزدان تۆڵەی بۆ سەندییەوە لە دوژمنەکانت، لە عەمۆنییەکان.» | 36 |
And she said to him O father my you have opened mouth your to Yahweh do to me just as it has come out from mouth your after that he did for you Yahweh vengeance from enemies your from [the] people of Ammon.
| پاشان بە باوکی گوت: «با ئەو کارەم لەگەڵدا بکرێت، دوو مانگ لێم بگەڕێ هەتا بڕۆم و لەسەر چیاکان بگەڕێم و لەگەڵ هاوڕێیەکانم شیوەن بگێڕم، چونکە هەرگیز شوو ناکەم.» | 37 |
And she said to father her let it be done for me the thing this refrain from me two months so let me go and I will go down on the mountains so I may weep on virginiti my I (and companions my. *Q(K)*)
| ئەویش گوتی: «بڕۆ.» دوو مانگ ناردی، ڕۆیشت و لەگەڵ دەستە خوشکەکانی لەسەر چیاکان شیوەنی گێڕا، چونکە هەرگیز شوو ناکات. | 38 |
And he said go and he sent away her two months and she went she and companions her and she wept on virginiti her on the mountains.
| لە کۆتایی دوو مانگەکەدا گەڕایەوە بۆ لای باوکی، ئیتر ئەو نەزرەی کردبووی ئەنجامی دا، کچەکەش پاکیزە بوو. ئیتر ئەمە لەناو ئیسرائیلدا بوو بە نەریت | 39 |
And it was from [the] end of - two months and she returned to father her and he did to her vow his which he had vowed and she not she had known a man and it was a custom in Israel.
| کە کچەکانی ئیسرائیل ساڵانە چوار ڕۆژ دەچن بۆ ئەوەی شیوەن بۆ کچەکەی یەفتاحی گلعادی بگێڕن. | 40 |
From days - days towards they go [the] daughters of Israel to recount for [the] daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in the year.
