یەشوع 22

1 ئینجا یەشوع ڕەئوبێنییەکان و گادییەکان و نیوە هۆزەکەی مەنەشەی بانگکرد و

Then Joshua summoned the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

2 پێی گوتن: «ئێوە هەموو ئەو شتانەتان جێبەجێ کرد کە موسای بەندەی یەزدان فەرمانی پێ کردبوون و لە هەموو ئەو شتانەش کە فەرمانم پێکردن گوێڕایەڵم بوون و

He told them, “You have done everything that Moses, the servant of the Lord, told you to do, and you have followed all the commands I gave you.

3 بە درێژایی ئەو ڕۆژانە و هەتا ئەمڕۆش براکانی خۆتان بەجێ نەهێشت و بە وریاییەوە فەرمانی یەزدانی پەروەردگاری خۆتان بەجێهێنا.

You have never abandoned your brothers all this time, right up to the present day. You have carefully followed what the Lord your God ordered you to do.

4 ئێستاش کە یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان براکانی ئێوەی ئاسوودە کرد، هەروەک بەڵێنی پێدابوون، ئێستا بگەڕێنەوە ماڵەکانتان لەو خاکەی موڵکتانە، ئەوەی کە موسای بەندەی یەزدان لەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون پێیدان.

Now that the Lord your God has given peace to your brothers, as he promised, go back home to your land that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you on the other side of the Jordan.

5 بەڵام زۆر ئاگاداربن بۆ کارکردن بەو ڕاسپاردە و فێرکردنەی کە موسای بەندەی یەزدان فەرمانی پێ کردن، کە یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان خۆشبوێت و هەموو ڕێگاکانی بگرنەبەر و فەرمانەکانی جێبەجێ بکەن و دەستی پێوە بگرن، پڕ بە دڵ و لە ناختانەوە بیپەرستن.»

But make sure you keep the commandments and the law as Moses instructed you. Love the Lord your God, follow all his ways, keep his commandments, stay close to him, and serve him with your whole being.”

6 ئینجا یەشوع داوای بەرەکەتی بۆ کردن و ئەوانی ناردەوە، ئەوانیش بەرەو نشینگەکانی خۆیان چوون.

Joshua blessed them, sent them on their way, and they went home.

7 (پێشتر موسا لە باشان خاکی دابووە نیوە هۆزەکەی مەنەشە. یەشوعیش خاکی دابووە نیوەکەی دیکەی هۆزەکە لەگەڵ براکانیان لە بەری ڕۆژئاوای ڕووباری ئوردون.) هەروەها کە یەشوع ئەوانی ناردەوە بۆ لای نشینگەکانیان، داوای بەرەکەتی بۆ کردن و

Moses had given to the half-tribe of Manasseh the land of Bashan, and to the other half of the tribe Joshua had given land west of the Jordan. Joshua blessed them and sent them home.

8 پێی گوتن: «بە سامانێکی زۆرەوە بگەڕێنەوە بۆ ماڵەکانتان و بە گاوگۆتاڵێکی زۆر و بە زێڕ و زیو و بڕۆنز و ئاسن و جلوبەرگێکی زۆرەوە، دەستکەوتی دوژمنەکانتان لەگەڵ براکانتان بەش بکەن.»

He told them, “Take all the wealth you have gained back home: the great herds of livestock, the things made of gold, silver, copper, and iron, the huge quantity of clothes. Share all this plunder with your brothers.”

9 ئینجا نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشە گەڕانەوە، نەوەی ئیسرائیلیان لە شیلۆ لە خاکی کەنعان بەجێهێشت، بۆ ئەوەی بچنە خاکی گلعاد بۆ ئەو خاکەی موڵکی خۆیانە، ئەوەی دەستیان بەسەردا گرتبوو بەپێی فەرمانی یەزدان لە ڕێگەی موساوە.

So the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh left the rest of the Israelites at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and went home to their land in Gilead that they had received at the Lord's command through Moses.

10 کاتێک هاتنە گەلیلۆت کە نزیک ڕووباری ئوردونە لەناو خاکی کەنعان، نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشە لەوێ لەسەر ڕووباری ئوردون قوربانگایەکی گەورە و بەرچاویان بنیاد نا.

When they approached the Jordan region, still in the land of Canaan, the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh built a large and impressive altar beside the Jordan River.

11 جا نەوەی ئیسرائیل بیستیان، ئەوەتا نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نیوە هۆزەکەی مەنەشە قوربانگایەکیان بەرامبەر خاکی کەنعان لە گەلیلۆتدا نزیک ڕووباری ئوردون بەرامبەر بە نەوەی ئیسرائیل بنیاد ناوە.

The Israelites were told, “Look, the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar in the Jordan region of the land of Canaan, on the side belonging to the Israelities.”

12 جا کە نەوەی ئیسرائیل ئەمەی بیستەوە، هەموو کۆمەڵی نەوەی ئیسرائیل لە شیلۆ کۆبوونەوە بۆ ئەوەی بۆ جەنگ لە دژی هۆزەکانی ئەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون بڕۆن.

The Israelites gathered at Shiloh to go to war against them.

13 ئینجا نەوەی ئیسرائیل فینەحاسی کوڕی ئەلعازاری کاهینیان نارد بۆ لای نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشە لە خاکی گلعاد.

Before they did so, they sent Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest to the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in the land of Gilead.

14 دە سەرۆکی لەگەڵ نارد، لە هەر هۆزێکی ئیسرائیل یەکێک، هەموویان گەورەی بنەماڵەکان بوون لەنێو تیرەکانی ئیسرائیل.

Ten leaders went with him, one from each of the ten tribes of Israel, and each the head of his family.

15 ئینجا هاتنە لای نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشە بۆ خاکی گلعاد و پێیان گوتن:

After they arrived they told the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh,

16 «هەموو کۆمەڵی یەزدان وا دەڵێن:”ئەم ناپاکییە چییە کە دەرهەق بە خودای ئیسرائیل کردتان، بەوەی کە ئەمڕۆ لە یەزدان هەڵگەڕاونەتەوە بە بنیادنانی قوربانگایەک بۆ خۆتان هەتا لە دژی یەزدان یاخی بن؟

“This is what all of the Lord's people say, ‘What is this disloyal act you have committed against the God of Israel by building an altar for yourselves? How could you turn away from him now in such rebellion?

17 ئایا گوناهەکەی پەعۆر کەمە بۆمان؟ ئەوەی هەتا ئەمڕۆش لێی پاک نەبووینەتەوە و بووە هۆی دەرد لەناو کۆمەڵی یەزدان!

Wasn't our sin at Peor enough? Even now we're still not clean from the plague that attacked the Lord's people.

18 ئایا ئەمڕۆ ئێوەش لە یەزدان هەڵدەگەڕێنەوە؟ «”ئەگەر ئێوە ئەمڕۆ لە یەزدان یاخی بن، ئەویش سبەینێ لە هەموو کۆمەڵی ئیسرائیل تووڕە دەبێت.

So why are you turning away from the Lord now? If you rebel against the Lord today, he will be angry with all of us tomorrow!

19 بەڵام ئەگەر خاکەکەی موڵکتان گڵاوە، بۆ خاکەکەی موڵکی یەزدان بپەڕنەوە کە چادری پەرستنی یەزدانی تێدایە و لەناو ئێمەدا میرات وەربگرن و لە یەزدان یاخی مەبن و لە دژی ئێمەش مەبن بە بنیادنانی قوربانگایەک بۆ خۆتان جیا لە قوربانگاکەی یەزدانی پەروەردگارمان.

But if you think your land is tainted then come over to the land of the Lord where the Tabernacle of the Lord is located and share some of our land with us. Just don't rebel against the Lord, or against us, by building for yourselves an altar other than the altar of the Lord our God.

20 کاتێک عاخانی کوڕی زەرەح ناپاکی کرد لە شتە تەرخانکراوەکاندا، ئایا تووڕەیی یەزدان بەسەر هەموو کۆمەڵی ئیسرائیلدا نەباری؟ بەهۆی گوناهەکەیەوە تەنها خۆی لەناو نەچوو!“»

When Achan, son of Zerah, acted disloyally in taking consecrated things, didn't the whole of Israel suffer punishment? He wasn't the only one who died because of his sin!”

21 ئینجا نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نیوەی هۆزی مەنەشە وەڵامیان دایەوە و بە سەرۆک خێڵەکانی ئیسرائیلیان گوت:

Then the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh answered the Israelite leaders,

22 «خودای توانادار، یەزدانە! خودای توانادار، یەزدانە! ئەو دەزانێت و با ئیسرائیلیش بزانێت، ئەگەر ئەمە بە یاخیبوون و بە ناپاکی دەرهەق بە یەزدان کرابێت، ئەوا ئەمڕۆ ڕزگارمان مەکەن!

“The Lord is God of gods, the Lord is God of gods, and he knows! May Israel also know! If we're in rebellion against God or being disloyal to him then kill us right now!

23 ئەگەر ئێمە ئەو قوربانگایەی خۆمانمان بە مەبەستی هەڵگەڕانەوە لە یەزدان و سەرخستنی قوربانی سووتاندن و پێشکەشکراوی دانەوێڵە بنیاد ناوە، یاخود بۆ ئەنجامدانی قوربانی هاوبەشی لەسەری، ئەوا با یەزدان خۆی سزامان بدات.

If our action of building an altar was to turn away from the Lord, or to use the altar to make burnt offerings or grain offerings or friendship offerings, then may the Lord punish us.

24 «نەخێر! بەڵکو ئەم کارەمان بەهۆی ئەم ترسەوە کردووە کە گوتمان، لەوانەیە سبەینێ نەوەکانتان بە نەوەکانمان بڵێن:”ئێوە چ پەیوەندییەکتان بە یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیلەوە هەیە؟

We did this because we were worried that in the future your descendants might say to ours, ‘What have you got to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?

25 ئەی نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد، یەزدان ڕووباری ئوردونی کردووەتە سنووری نێوان ئێمە و ئێوە! ئێوە هیچ بەشێکتان لە یەزداندا نییە.“جا لەوانەیە نەوەکانتان ڕێگا نەدەن نەوەکانمان یەزدان بپەرستن.

The Lord put a border—the Jordan River—between us and you, descendants of Reuben and Gad. You don't belong to the Lord.’ So your descendants might stop our descendants from worshiping the Lord.

26 «لەبەر ئەوە گوتمان:”با ئێمە بۆ خۆمان قوربانگایەک بنیاد بنێین، بەڵام بۆ قوربانی سووتاندن و قوربانی سەربڕاو نا.“

So we said to ourselves, ‘Let's build an altar, not for burnt offerings or for sacrifices,

27 بەڵکو لەپاش خۆمان ئەوە ببێتە شایەت لەنێوان ئێمە و ئێوە و نەوەکانمان، بۆ ئەوەی یەزدان لە پیرۆزگاکەی خۆی بپەرستین بە قوربانی سووتاندنەکانمان و سەربڕدراوەکانمان و قوربانییەکانی هاوبەشیمان و لە داهاتوودا نەوەکانتان بە نەوەکانمان نەڵێن:”ئێوە بەشتان لە یەزداندا نییە.“

but as a witness between us and you, and for the generations that come after us, that we will come to worship the Lord in his presence with our burnt offerings, sacrifices, and friendship offerings.’ Then your descendants will not be able to say to ours in the future, ‘You don't belong to the Lord.’

28 «هەروەها گوتمان:”کە لە داهاتوودا ئەمە بە خۆمان و نەوەکانمان دەڵێن، ئێمەش دەڵێین، بڕوانن هاوشێوەی قوربانگای یەزدان کە باوباپیرانمان کردوویانە، بەڵام بۆ قوربانی سووتاندن و سەربڕدراوەکان نییە، بەڵکو وەک شایەتە لەنێوان ئێمە و ئێوە.“

If they were to do so in the future, our descendants could reply, ‘Look at this copy of the Lord's altar which our forefathers made, not for burnt offerings or for sacrifices, but as a witness between us and you.’

29 «ئەوە لە ئێمە بەدوور بێت، کە لە یەزدان یاخی بین و ئەمڕۆ لە یەزدان هەڵگەڕێینەوە بە بنیادنانی قوربانگایەک بۆ قوربانی سووتاندن یان پێشکەشکراوی دانەوێڵە یان سەربڕاو، بێجگە لە قوربانگای یەزدانی پەروەردگارمان ئەوەی لەبەردەم چادرەکەی پەرستنیەتی.»

We would never think to rebel against the Lord or to turn away from him now by building an altar to make burnt offerings or grain offerings or sacrifices. The only altar of the Lord our God is the one stands in front of his Tabernacle.”

30 جا کاتێک فینەحاسی کاهین و ڕابەرەکانی کۆمەڵ، سەرۆک خێڵەکانی ئیسرائیل، ئەوانەی لەگەڵیدا بوون، گوێیان لە قسەکانی نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و گاد و مەنەشە بوو، قسەکانیان قبوڵ کردن.

When Phinehas and the Israelite leaders heard this from the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh they were delighted.

31 ئینجا فینەحاسی کوڕی ئەلعازاری کاهین بە نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد و نەوەی مەنەشەی گوت: «ئەمڕۆ زانیمان کە یەزدان لەگەڵماندایە، چونکە ئەم ناپاکییەتان دەرهەق بە یەزدان نەکردووە، ئێستا ئێوە نەوەی ئیسرائیلتان لە دەست یەزدان دەرباز کردووە.»

Phinehas replied to the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, “Today we know that the Lord is with us because you have not acted disloyally in doing this. Now you have saved the Israelites from being punished by the Lord.”

32 ئینجا فینەحاسی کوڕی ئەلعازاری کاهین و سەرۆکەکان لەلای نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گادەوە لە خاکی گلعادەوە بۆ لای نەوەی ئیسرائیل لە خاکی کەنعاندا گەڕانەوە و هەواڵیان پێدان.

Then Phinehas and the Israelite leaders left the tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in the land of Gilead and returned to the land of Canaan to explain the situation to the Israelites.

33 جا نەوەی ئیسرائیلیش دڵخۆش بوون بەم هەواڵە و ستایشی خودایان کرد و بیریان لەوە نەکردەوە کە سەربکەون بۆیان بۆ جەنگ و بۆ تێکدانی ئەو خاکەی کە نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد تێیدا نیشتەجێن.

The Israelites were pleased with the report and God blessed them. They didn't talk about going to war any more to destroy the land where the tribes of Reuben and Gad were living.

34 ئینجا نەوەی ڕەئوبێن و نەوەی گاد ناویان لە قوربانگاکە نا: «شایەتە لەنێوانمان کە یەزدان خودایە.»

The tribes of Reuben and Gad called the altar, “Witness,” because they said, “It is a witness between us that the Lord is also our God.”
