| پیاوێک لە فەریسییەکان هەبوو بە ناوی نیقۆدیمۆس، یەکێک بوو لە ڕابەرانی جولەکە. | 1 |
And there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
| بە شەو هاتە لای عیسا و پێی گوت: «ڕابی، دەزانین تۆ مامۆستایەکی لەلای خوداوە هاتوویت، چونکە کەس ناتوانێت ئەو پەرجووانە بکات کە تۆ دەیکەیت، ئەگەر خودای لەگەڵ نەبێت.» | 2 |
This man came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou hast come as a teacher from God; for no one can do these signs which thou doest, unless God be with him.
| عیساش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ڕاستی ڕاستیت پێ دەڵێم، ئەگەر یەکێک لەدایک نەبێتەوە، ناتوانێت شانشینی خودا ببینێت.» | 3 |
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly do I say to thee, Unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
| نیقۆدیمۆس پێی گوت: «مرۆڤ کە پیر بێت چۆن دەتوانێت لەدایک بێت؟ خۆ دیسان ناتوانێت بچێتەوە سکی دایکی و لەدایک بێتەوە!» | 4 |
Nicodemus saith to him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother's womb a second time, and be born?
| عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «ڕاستی ڕاستیت پێ دەڵێم، ئەگەر یەکێک لە ئاو و لە ڕۆحی پیرۆز لەدایک نەبێت، ناتوانێت بچێتە ناو شانشینی خودا. | 5 |
Jesus answered, Truly, truly do I say to thee, Unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.
| ئەوەی لە جەستە لەدایک بووە جەستەیە، ئەوەش لە ڕۆحی خودا لەدایک بووە ڕۆحە. | 6 |
That which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit.
| سەرسام مەبە کە پێم گوتی:”دەبێ لەدایک ببنەوە.“ | 7 |
Marvel not that I said to thee, Ye must be born again.
| با بۆ کوێ بیەوێت هەڵدەکات و گوێت لە دەنگەکەی دەبێت، بەڵام نازانیت لەکوێوە دێت و بۆ کوێ دەچێت. هەرکەسێکیش لە ڕۆحی پیرۆز لەدایک بووە ئاوایە.» | 8 |
The wind bloweth where it will; and thou hearest the sound thereof, but knowest not whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
| نیقۆدیمۆس گوتی: «چۆن دەکرێ ئەمانە ڕووبدەن؟» | 9 |
Nicodemus answered and said to him, How can these things be?
| عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «تۆ مامۆستایەکی ئیسرائیلی و ئەمانەش نازانیت؟ | 10 |
Jesus answered and said to him, Art thou the teacher of Israel, and understandest not these things?
| ڕاستی ڕاستیت پێ دەڵێم: ئەوەی دەیزانین دەیڵێین و ئەوەی دەیبینین شایەتی بۆ دەدەین، ئێوەش شایەتیمان قبوڵ ناکەن. | 11 |
Truly, truly do I say to thee, We speak that which we know, and testify that which we have seen; and ye receive not our testimony.
| باسی شتە زەمینییەکانم بۆتان کرد و باوەڕ ناکەن، ئیتر چۆن باوەڕ دەکەن ئەگەر باسی شتە ئاسمانییەکانتان بۆ بکەم؟ | 12 |
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how will ye believe if I tell you heavenly things?
| کەس سەرنەکەوتووە بۆ ئاسمان جگە لەوەی لە ئاسمان هاتووەتە خوارەوە، کە ئەویش کوڕی مرۆڤە. | 13 |
And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he who came down from heaven, even the Son of man.
| هەروەک موسا لە چۆڵەوانی مارەکەی بەرزکردەوە، ئاواش دەبێ کوڕی مرۆڤ بەرز بکرێتەوە، | 14 |
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up
| تاکو هەرکەسێک باوەڕی پێ بهێنێت ژیانی هەتاهەتایی هەبێت.» (aiōnios g166) | 15 |
that every one who believeth in him may have everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
| لەبەر ئەوەی خودا ئەوەندە جیهانی خۆشویست، تەنانەت کوڕە تاقانەکەی بەختکرد، تاکو هەرکەسێک باوەڕی پێ بهێنێت لەناو نەچێت، بەڵکو ژیانی هەتاهەتایی هەبێت، (aiōnios g166) | 16 |
For God so loved the world, that he gave the only begotten Son, that every one who believeth in him may not perish, but may have everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
| چونکە خودا کوڕەکەی نەناردە جیهان تاکو جیهان حوکم بدات، بەڵکو تاکو جیهان بەوەوە ڕزگاری ببێت. | 17 |
For God sent not the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that through him the world might be saved.
| ئەوەی باوەڕی پێ بهێنێت حوکم نادرێت، بەڵام ئەوەی باوەڕ ناهێنێت ئەوا حوکم دراوە، چونکە باوەڕی بە ناوی کوڕە تاقانەکەی خودا نەهێناوە. | 18 |
He that believeth in him is not condemned; he that believeth not hath already been condemned, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
| ئەمەش حوکمەکەیە: ڕووناکییەکە هاتە جیهان بەڵام خەڵک لە جیاتی ڕووناکییەکە تاریکییەکەیان خۆشویست، چونکە کردەوەیان خراپ بوو. | 19 |
And this is the condemnation, that the light hath come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil.
| لەبەر ئەوەی هەرکەسێک خراپە بکات ڕقی لە ڕووناکییەکەیە و نایەتە لای ڕووناکییەکە، نەوەک کردەوەکانی ئاشکرابێت. | 20 |
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
| بەڵام ئەوەی بەگوێرەی ڕاستی دەڕوات، دێتە لای ڕووناکییەکە، تاکو دەربکەوێت کە کردەوەکانی لە خوداوەیە. | 21 |
But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
| دوای ئەمانە عیسا و قوتابییەکانی هاتنە خاکی یەهودیا، لەوێ لەگەڵیان مایەوە و خەڵکی لە ئاو هەڵکێشا. | 22 |
After these things Jesus and his disciples came into the land of Judaea; and there he remained with them, and baptized.
| یەحیاش لە ئەینونی نزیک شاری سالیم خەڵکی لە ئاو هەڵدەکێشا، چونکە لەوێ ئاو زۆر بوو، ئیتر دەهاتن و لە ئاو هەڵدەکێشران، | 23 |
And John also was baptizing in AEnon, near Salim, because there was much water there; and they came, and were baptized.
| چونکە هێشتا یەحیا نەخرابووە زیندانەوە. | 24 |
For John was not yet thrown into prison.
| لەوێ دەربارەی پاککردنەوە گفتوگۆیەک کەوتە نێوان قوتابییەکانی یەحیا و جولەکەیەک. | 25 |
Then there arose a question on the part of John's disciples with a Jew about purifying.
| قوتابییەکانی هاتنە لای یەحیا و پێیان گوت: «ڕابی، ئەوەی لەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردون لەگەڵ تۆ بوو، ئەوەی شایەتیت بۆی دا، ئەوەتا خەڵک لە ئاو هەڵدەکێشێت و هەموو خەڵک دێنە لای.» | 26 |
And they came to John, and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou hast borne witness, behold, he baptizeth, and all men are going to him.
| یەحیا وەڵامی دایەوە: «کەس ناتوانێت شتێک وەربگرێت ئەگەر لە ئاسمانەوە پێی نەدرابێت. | 27 |
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, unless it be given him from heaven.
| ئێوە خۆتان شایەتیم بۆ دەدەن کە گوتم:”من مەسیح نیم، بەڵام پێش ئەو نێردراوم.“ | 28 |
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I was sent before that man.
| بووک بۆ زاوایە، هاوڕێی زاواش کە خزمەتی زاوا دەکات و چاوەڕێی دەنگی هاتنەکەی دەکات، کاتێک گوێی لە دەنگی زاوا دەبێ، زۆر دڵخۆش دەبێت. ئەم خۆشییە درا بە من و ئێستا هاتە دی. | 29 |
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. This my joy then hath become full.
| پێویستە ئەو زیاد بکات و منیش کەم.» | 30 |
He must increase, but I must decrease.
| ئەوەی لە سەرەوە دێت لە سەرووی هەمووانە. بەڵام ئەوەی لە زەوییە ئەوە زەمینییە و وەکو کەسێکی زەمینی دەدوێت. ئەوەی لە ئاسمانەوە دێت لە سەرووی هەمووانە و | 31 |
He that cometh from above is above all. He that is from the earth is earthly, and speaketh earthly things; he that cometh from heaven
| شایەتی ئەوە دەدات کە بینیویەتی و بیستوویەتی، بەڵام کەس شایەتییەکەی وەرناگرێت. | 32 |
testifieth what he hath seen and heard; and no one receiveth his testimony.
| ئەوەی شایەتییەکەی وەردەگرێت، مۆری دەکات کە خودا ڕاستە، | 33 |
He that hath received his testimony hath set his seal that God is true.
| چونکە ئەوەی خودا ناردوویەتی بە پەیامی خودا دەدوێت، لەبەر ئەوەی خودا بێ سنوور ڕۆحی پیرۆز دەبەخشێت. | 34 |
For he whom God sent speaketh the words of God; for he giveth not the Spirit by measure.
| باوکی ئاسمانی کوڕی خۆی خۆشدەوێت و هەموو شتێکی داوەتە دەستی. | 35 |
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
| ئەوەی باوەڕ بە کوڕەکە بهێنێت ژیانی هەتاهەتایی هەیە. بەڵام ئەوەی گوێڕایەڵی کوڕەکە نییە ژیان نابینێت، بەڵکو تووڕەیی خودای لەسەر دەمێنێت. (aiōnios g166) | 36 |
He that believeth in the Son hath everlasting life; and he that disobeyeth the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (aiōnios g166)
