1 کە عیسا ئەمانەی فەرموو، چاوی بەرەو ئاسمان هەڵبڕی و فەرمووی: «باوکە، کاتەکە هاتووە. کوڕەکەت شکۆدار بکە، تاکو کوڕەکەشت شکۆدارت بکات.

When Jesus had spoken these words, He lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, ---"Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify Thee:

2 هەروەک دەسەڵاتت پێداوە بەسەر هەموو خەڵکدا، تاکو ژیانی هەتاهەتایی بە هەموو ئەوانە بدات کە پێت داون. (aiōnios g166)

as Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that as to all which Thou hast given Him, He might give them eternal life; (aiōnios g166)

3 ژیانی هەتاهەتاییش ئەوەیە کە تۆ بناسن، تەنها خودای ڕاستەقینە و عیسای مەسیح، ئەوەی کە ناردووتە. (aiōnios g166)

and this is life eternal, to know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)

4 من لەسەر زەوی شکۆدارم کردیت بە تەواوکردنی ئەو کارەی پێت دابووم.

I have glorified Thee on earth, I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do:

5 ئێستاش باوکە لەلای خۆت شکۆدارم بکە، بەو شکۆیەی پێش بوونی جیهان لەلای تۆ هەمبوو.

and now, O Father, glorify Thou me with thine own self, with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was made.

6 «ناوی تۆم بەوانە ناساند کە لە جیهاندا بە منت دان، هی تۆ بوون، خۆت بە منت دان و کاریان بۆ وتەکانت کرد.

I have manifested thy name to the men, whom Thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and Thou gavest them to me, and they have kept thy word.

7 ئێستاش ئەوان دەزانن هەرچییەکت پێم داوە لە خۆتەوەیە.

They now know that all things whatsoever Thou hast given me, are indeed from Thee;

8 ئەو وشانەم پێدان کە تۆ پێت دابووم، ئەوانیش وەریانگرت و بە ڕاستی زانییان لە تۆوە هاتووم، باوەڕیان هێنا کە تۆ منت ناردووە.

for the instructions, which Thou gavest me, I have given to them: and they have received them, and have known of a truth that I came from Thee, and have believed that thou hast sent me.

9 بۆ ئەوان داوا دەکەم. بۆ جیهان داوا ناکەم، بەڵکو بۆ ئەوانەی بە منت داون، چونکە هی تۆن.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom Thou hast given me, for they are thine.

10 هەرچییەک هی منە، هی تۆیە، هەرچییەکیش هی تۆیە، هی منە، من لە ئەواندا شکۆدار بووم.

And all my concerns are thine, and thine are mine: and I am therefore glorified in them.

11 ئەمان لە‏جیهان دەمێننەوە، بەڵام من تێیدا نامێنمەوە، چونکە من دەگەڕێمەوە لای تۆ. ئەی باوکی پیرۆز، بە ناوی خۆت بیانپارێزە کە بە منت داوە، تاکو ببنە یەک وەک ئێمە یەکین.

And as I am to be no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to Thee, Holy Father, keep by thy name those whom Thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

12 کاتێک لەگەڵیان بووم بەو ناوەی کە تۆ بە منت دابوو دەمپاراستن و پاسەوانیم دەکردن. کەسیان لەناونەچوون کوڕی لەناوچوو نەبێت، بۆ ئەوەی نووسراوە پیرۆزەکە بێتە دی.

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name; I have preserved those whom Thou gavest me, and none of them is lost; except the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 «ئێستاش دێمە لای تۆ، بەڵام لە جیهاندا باسی ئەمانە دەکەم، تاکو بە تەواوی شادی منیان لە دڵدا بێت.

But now I am coming to Thee, and I speak these things in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

14 من وشەی تۆم دایە ئەوان و جیهان ڕقی لێیان بووەوە، چونکە هی جیهان نین، وەک منیش هی جیهان نیم.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 داوا ناکەم لە جیهاندا بیانبەیتەوە، بەڵکو لە شەیتان بیانپارێزی.

I do not pray that Thou wouldest take them out of the world, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil.

16 ئەوان هی جیهان نین، وەک منیش هی جیهان نیم.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 بە ڕاستیی خۆت پیرۆزیان بکە، وشەی تۆ ڕاستییە.

Sanctify them by thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 وەک چۆن منت نارد بۆ جیهان، منیش ئەوانم نارد بۆ جیهان.

As Thou hast sent me into the world, so have I also sent them into the world.

19 بۆ ئەوان خۆم پیرۆز دەکەم، تاکو ئەوانیش لە ڕاستیدا پیرۆزکراو بن.

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified through the truth.

20 «تەنها بۆ ئەمان داوا ناکەم، بەڵکو بۆ ئەوانەش کە بە قسەی ئەمانەوە باوەڕم پێ دەهێنن،

Nor do I pray for these only, but for them also that shall believe on me through their word.

21 تاکو هەموو یەک بن، باوکە، هەروەک تۆ لە مندای و منیش لە تۆدام. با ئەوانیش لە ئێمەدا بن، تاکو جیهان باوەڕ بهێنێت کە تۆ منت ناردووە.

That they all may be one, as Thou, O Father, art in me, and I in Thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 منیش ئەو شکۆیەم داونەتێ کە تۆ بە منت داوە، تاکو ببنە یەک، وەک چۆن ئێمە یەکین.

And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them: that they may be one, even as we are one.

23 من لەواندام و تۆ لە مندای، تاکو بە تەواوی یەک بن، بۆ ئەوەی جیهان بزانێت تۆ منت ناردووە و ئەوانت خۆشویستووە هەروەک چۆن منت خۆشویستووە.

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.

24 «باوکە، دەمەوێت ئەوانەی کە بە منت داون لەکوێ بم لەگەڵم بن، تاکو شکۆمەندییەکەم ببینن کە بە منت داوە، چونکە پێش دامەزراندنی جیهان منت خۆشویست.

Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 «ئەی باوکی ڕاستودروست، جیهان تۆ ناناسێت، بەڵام من تۆ دەناسم، ئەوانیش دەزانن تۆ منت ناردووە.

O righteous Father, the world indeed hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent me.

26 ناوی تۆم پێ ناساندن و پێیان دەناسێنم، تاکو ئەو خۆشەویستییەی کە بۆ منت هەیە لەوانیشدا بێت و منیش لەواندا بم.»

And I have made known to them thy name, and will farther make it known; that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I also in them.
