یۆحەنا 16

1 «ئەم شتانەم پێ گوتن، تاکو بێ ئومێد نەبن.

“These things I have spoken to you, that you may not be stumbled.

2 لە کەنیشتەکان دەردەکرێن، لەڕاستیدا کاتێک دێت ئەوەی دەتانکوژێت وا دەزانێت خزمەتی خودا دەکات.

They will put you out of the synagogues, but an hour comes that everyone who has killed you may think to offer service to God;

3 ئەمانەش دەکەن، چونکە نە باوکیان ناسیوە و نە من.

and these things they will do to you, because they did not know the Father, nor Me.

4 بەڵام ئەمانەم پێ گوتن، تاکو ئەگەر کاتیان هات بیرتان بکەوێتەوە کە من پێم گوتوون. لە سەرەتادا ئەمانەم پێ نەگوتن، چونکە لەگەڵتان بووم.

But these things I have spoken to you, that when the hour may come, you may remember them, that I said [them] to you, and I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you;

5 «ئێستا دەچمە لای ئەوەی ناردوومی و کەستان لێم ناپرسێت:”بۆ کوێ دەچیت؟“

and now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, To where do you go?

6 کەچی دڵگرانن بەوەی کە ئەمەم پێ گوتن.

But because I have said to you these things, the sorrow has filled your heart.

7 بەڵام ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: باشترە بۆتان کە بڕۆم، چونکە ئەگەر نەڕۆم، یارمەتیدەرەکەتان بۆ نایەت. بەڵام ئەگەر بڕۆم بۆتانی دەنێرم.

But I tell you the truth; it is better for you that I go away, for if I may not go away, the Comforter will not come to you, and if I go on, I will send Him to you;

8 کاتێک ئەو دێت، دەیسەلمێنێت کە جیهان بە هەڵە تێگەیشتوون لە گوناه و ڕاستودروستی و حوکمدان:

and having come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment;

9 لەسەر گوناه، چونکە باوەڕم پێ ناهێنن؛

concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in Me;

10 لەسەر ڕاستودروستی، چونکە دەچمە لای باوک و ئیتر نامبینن؛

and concerning righteousness, because I go away to My Father, and you behold Me no more;

11 لەسەر حوکمدانیش، چونکە گەورەی ئەم جیهانە حوکم دراوە.

and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

12 «هێشتا شتی زۆرم هەیە پێتانی بڵێم، بەڵام ئێستا ناتوانن بەرگەی بگرن.

I have yet many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear [them] now;

13 بەڵام کاتێک ئەو دێت، کە ڕۆحی ڕاستییە، ئەو بۆ ڕاستی تەواو ڕێنماییتان دەکات، چونکە لە خۆیەوە هیچ ناڵێت، بەڵکو ئەوەی گوێی لێ دەبێت دەیڵێت و ڕایدەگەیەنێت چی ڕوودەدات.

and when He may come—the Spirit of truth—He will guide you to all the truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but as many things as He will hear He will speak, and the coming things He will tell you;

14 ئەو شکۆدارم دەکات، چونکە ئەوەتان پێ ڕادەگەیەنێت کە لە منەوە وەریدەگرێت.

He will glorify Me, because He will take of Mine, and will tell to you.

15 هەموو ئەوەی کە هی باوکە، هی منیشە. لەبەر ئەوە گوتم، ڕۆحی پیرۆز لە هی من وەردەگرێت و پێتانی ڕادەگەیەنێت.

All things, as many as the Father has, are Mine; because of this I said that He will take of Mine, and will tell to you;

16 «پاش کەمێک نامبینن، ئینجا پاش کەمێک دیسان دەمبینن.»

a little while, and you do not behold Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go away to the Father.”

17 هەندێک لە قوتابییەکانی بە یەکتریان گوت: «ئەمە چییە کە پێمان دەفەرموێ:”پاش کەمێک ئیتر نامبینن، پاش کەمێکیش دەمبینن“و”چونکە دەچمە لای باوک“؟»

Therefore [some] of His disciples said to one another, “What is this that He says to us, A little while, and you do not behold Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me, and, Because I go away to the Father?”

18 گوتیان: «ئەم”کەم“ـەیە چییە کە باسی دەکات؟ نازانین چی دەفەرموێ!»

They said then, “What is this He says—the little while? We have not known what He says.”

19 عیسا زانی کە دەیانویست پرسیاری لێ بکەن، بۆیە پێی فەرموون: «ئایا لەبەر ئەمە پرسیار لە یەکتری دەکەن کە گوتم:”پاش کەمێک ئیتر نامبینن، پاش کەمێکیش دەمبینن“؟

Jesus, therefore, knew that they were wishing to ask Him, and He said to them, “Concerning this do you seek with one another, because I said, A little while, and you do not behold Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me?

20 ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: ئێوە دەگریێن و شیوەن دەکەن، بەڵام جیهان دڵشاد دەبێ. خەمبار دەبن، بەڵام خەمباریەکەتان دەبێتە شادی.

Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, and the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will become joy.

21 کاتێک ژن منداڵی دەبێت خەم دایدەگرێت، چونکە کاتی هاتووە. بەڵام کە منداڵەکەی بوو، لە خۆشی ئەوەی مرۆڤێک لە جیهان لەدایک بووە، ژانەکانی لەبیر دەکات.

The woman, when she may bear, has sorrow, because her hour came, and when she may bear the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man was born into the world.

22 ئێوەش ئێستا خەمتان هەیە، بەڵام دەتانبینمەوە و دڵشاد دەبن، کەسیش ئەو خۆشییەتان لێ ناستێنێ.

And you, therefore, now indeed have sorrow; and again I will see you, and your heart will rejoice, and no one takes your joy from you,

23 لەو ڕۆژەدا پرسیاری هیچم لێ ناکەن. ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: هەرچییەک بە ناوی منەوە لە باوک داوا بکەن دەتانداتێ.

and in that day you will question nothing of Me; truly, truly, I say to you, as many things as you may ask of the Father in My Name, He will give you;

24 هەتا ئێستا بە ناوی منەوە هیچتان داوا نەکردووە. داوا بکەن وەریدەگرن، تاکو خۆشییەکەتان کامڵ و تەواو بێت.

until now you asked nothing in My Name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

25 «ئەم شتانەم بە پەند بۆ باسکردن، بەڵام کاتێک دێت ئیتر بە پەند بۆتان نادوێم، بەڵکو بە ئاشکرا باسی باوکتان بۆ دەکەم.

I have spoken these things in allegories to you, but there comes an hour when I will no longer speak to you in allegories, but will tell you freely of the Father.

26 لەو ڕۆژەدا بە ناوی منەوە داوا دەکەن. ئیتر پێتان ناڵێم لەلای باوک بۆتان داوا دەکەم،

In that day you will make request in My Name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father for you,

27 چونکە باوک خۆی ئێوەی خۆشدەوێت، لەبەر ئەوەی منتان خۆشویستووە و باوەڕتان کرد کە لە لای خوداوە هاتووم.

for the Father Himself cherishes you, because you have cherished Me, and you have believed that I came forth from God;

28 لە لای باوکەوە هاتووم بۆ جیهان، ئێستاش جیهان بەجێدەهێڵم و دەگەڕێمەوە لای باوک.»

I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; again I leave the world, and go on to the Father.”

29 قوتابییەکانی گوتیان: «وا ئێستا بە ڕوونی و بەبێ پەند قسە دەکەیت.

His disciples say to Him, “Behold, now You speak freely, and You do not speak allegory;

30 ئێستا دڵنیاین کە تۆ هەموو شتێک دەزانیت و پێویستت بەوە نییە کەس پرسیارت لێ بکات. بەمەش باوەڕ دەکەین کە لە خوداوە هاتوویت.»

now we have known that You have known all things, and have no need that anyone questions You; in this we believe that You came forth from God.”

31 عیساش وەڵامی دانەوە: «ئایا ئێستا باوەڕ دەکەن؟

Jesus answered them, “Now do you believe? Behold, there comes an hour,

32 وا کاتێک دێت و ئێستاش هاتووە، کە پەرتەوازە دەبن، هەریەکە بۆ ماڵی خۆی و بە تەنها بەجێم دەهێڵن. بەڵام من بە تەنها نیم، چونکە باوک لەگەڵمدایە.

and now it has come, that you may be scattered, each to his own things, and you may leave Me alone, and I am not alone, because the Father is with Me;

33 «ئەمانەم پێ گوتن تاکو ئاشتیتان لە مندا هەبێت. لە جیهاندا تووشی تەنگانە دەبن. بەڵام ورەتان بەرز بێت، من جیهانم بەزاندووە.»

these things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace, in the world you will have tribulation, but take courage—I have overcome the world.”
