یۆحەنا 14

1 «نیگەران مەبن. پشت بە خودا ببەستن، پشت بە منیش ببەستن.

Let not your heart be troubled. Have faith in God, and have faith in me.

2 ماڵی باوکم ژووری زۆری لێیە، ئەگەر ئاوا نەبووایە پێم دەگوتن. من دەچم تاکو شوێنتان بۆ ئامادە بکەم.

In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. For I go away to prepare a place for you;

3 جا کە ڕۆیشتم و شوێنم بۆ ئامادەکردن، دێمەوە و دەتانبەمە لای خۆم، تاکو ئێوەش لەو شوێنە بن کە من لێی دەبم.

and when I have gone away and prepared a place for you, I will come again, and will take you to myself; that where I am, ye also may be.

4 ئێوەش ڕێگای ئەو شوێنە دەزانن کە بۆی دەچم.»

And ye know the way whither I go.

5 تۆماس پێی گوت: «گەورەم، نازانین بۆ کوێ دەچیت، چۆن ڕێگاکە بزانین؟»

Thomas saith to him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how then do we know the way?

6 عیساش پێی فەرموو: «منم ڕێگا و ڕاستی و ژیان. کەس نایەتە لای باوک لە ڕێگەی منەوە نەبێت.

Jesus saith to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one cometh to the Father but through me.

7 ئەگەر ئێوە منتان بناسیایە، باوکیشمتان دەناسی. لە ئێستاوە دەیناسن و بینیوتانە.»

If ye knew me, ye would know my Father also; and from this time ye know him, and have seen him.

8 فیلیپۆس پێی گوت: «گەورەم، باوکمان پیشان بدە و بەسمانە.»

Philip saith to him, Lord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied.

9 عیساش پێی فەرموو: «فیلیپۆس، ئایا تەنانەت لەدوای ئەم ماوە زۆرەش کە لەگەڵتانم، نەتناسیوم؟ ئەوەی منی بینیوە باوکی بینیوە. ئیتر چۆن دەڵێی:”باوکمان نیشان بدە“؟

Jesus saith to him, Have I been so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how is it that thou sayest, Show us the Father?

10 ئایا باوەڕ ناکەی من لە باوکدام و باوکیش لە مندایە؟ ئەو قسانەی پێتانی دەڵێم لە خۆمەوە نایڵێم، بەڵکو باوک کە لە مندا نیشتەجێیە، ئەو کارەکانی خۆی دەکات.

Dost thou not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not from myself; but the Father, who dwelleth in me, doeth his works.

11 باوەڕم پێ بکەن کە من لە باوکدام و باوکیش لە مندایە، ئەگەر نا بەهۆی کارەکان خۆیانەوە باوەڕ بکەن.

Believe me, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; but if not, believe for the very works' sake.

12 ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: ئەوەی باوەڕم پێ بهێنێت، ئەو کارانە دەکات کە من دەیکەم، لەمانەش گەورەتر دەکات، چونکە بۆ لای باوک دەچم.

Truly, truly do I say to you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater than these shall he do; because I am going to the Father,

13 هەرچییەک بە ناوی منەوە داوا بکەن دەیکەم، تاکو باوک لە کوڕەکەدا شکۆدار بێت.

and whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do; that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 ئەگەر شتێکتان بە ناوی منەوە داوا کرد، دەیکەم.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 «ئەگەر منتان خۆشبوێ کار بە ڕاسپاردەکانم دەکەن.

If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments;

16 منیش داوا لە باوک دەکەم یارمەتیدەرێکی دیکەتان بداتێ کە هەتاهەتایە لەگەڵتان بمێنێتەوە، (aiōn g165)

and I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever; (aiōn g165)

17 ڕۆحی ڕاستی، کە جیهان ناتوانێت وەریبگرێت، چونکە نایبینێت و نایناسێت. بەڵام ئێوە دەیناسن، چونکە لەگەڵتان دەمێنێتەوە و لەناو ئێوەدا دەبێت.

the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot receive, because it doth not behold it, nor know it; ye know it, because it abideth with you, and will be in you.

18 بە هەتیوی بەجێتان ناهێڵیم، دێمەوە لاتان.

I will not leave you bereaved; I am coming to you.

19 پاش ماوەیەکی کەم ئیتر جیهان نامبینێت، بەڵام ئێوە دەمبینن. لەبەر ئەوەی من زیندووم، ئێوەش دەژین.

Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye will behold me, because I live, and ye will live.

20 لەو ڕۆژەدا دەزانن من لە باوکمدام، ئێوەش لە مندان، منیش لە ئێوەدام.

In that day ye will know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 ئەوەی ڕاسپاردەکانی منی لەلایە و کاریان پێ دەکات، ئەوا منی خۆشدەوێت. ئەوەی منی خۆشبوێ، باوکیشمی خۆشدەوێت، منیش خۆشمدەوێت و خۆمی بۆ دەردەخەم.»

He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me will be loved by my Father; and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 ئینجا یەهوزایەکی دیکە، کە یەهوزای ئەسخەریوتی نەبوو، لێی پرسی: «گەورەم، بۆچی دەتەوێ خۆت بۆ ئێمە دەربخەیت، بەڵام بۆ جیهان نا؟»

Judas, not Iscariot, saith to him, And how is it, Lord, that thou art going to manifest thyself to us, and not to the world?

23 عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەوەی منی خۆشبوێ کار بە وتەکانم دەکات، باوکیشم خۆشی دەوێت و من و باوک دێینە لای و لەلای ئەویش نیشتەجێ دەبین.

Jesus answered and said to him, If any one loveth me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

24 ئەوەش کە منی خۆشناوێت کار بە وتەکانم ناکات. ئەم وتانەی گوێتان لێی دەبێت هی من نییە، بەڵکو هی ئەو باوکەیە کە ناردوومی.

He that loveth me not, keepeth not my words; and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.

25 «ئەمانەم پێ گوتن کە هێشتا لەلاتانم.

These things have I spoken to you, while abiding with you;

26 بەڵام یارمەتیدەرەکە، ڕۆحی پیرۆز، ئەوەی باوک بە ناوی منەوە دەینێرێت، ئەو هەموو شتێکتان فێردەکات و هەموو ئەو شتانەی پێم گوتوون بیرتان دەخاتەوە.

but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit which the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things which I have said to you.

27 «ئاشتیتان بۆ بەجێدەهێڵم، ئاشتی خۆمتان دەدەمێ. ئەوەی من دەتاندەمێ وەک ئەوە نییە کە جیهان دەتانداتێ. نیگەران مەبن و مەترسن.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world giveth, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.

28 «گوێتان لێبوو پێم گوتن:”دەڕۆم و دێمەوە لاتان.“ئەگەر منتان خۆشبوێ، دڵشاد دەبن کە دەچمە لای باوک، چونکە باوک لە من مەزنترە.

Ye heard me say to you, I am going away, and am coming again to you. If ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced that I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.

29 ئەوەتا ئێستا پێش ڕوودانی پێم گوتن، تاکو کاتێک ڕوویدا باوەڕ بهێنن.

And now I have told you before it hath come to pass, that when it hath come to pass ye may believe.

30 لەمەولا زۆر قسەتان لەگەڵ ناکەم، چونکە سەرۆکی ئەم جیهانە وا دێت. هیچ دەسەڵاتێکی بەسەر مندا نییە،

I shall not talk much more with you. For the prince of the world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 بەڵام ئەو دێت تاکو جیهان بزانێت باوکم خۆشدەوێت و بەو شێوەیە کار دەکەم کە باوک ڕایسپاردووم. «هەستن، با لێرە بڕۆین.

But [[this must be]] that the world may know that I love the Father, and that as the Father gave me commandment so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
