یۆحەنا 11

1 پیاوێک بە ناوی لەعازر نەخۆش بوو کە خەڵکی بێت‌عەنیا بوو، هەمان گوندی مریەم و مەرسای خوشکی.

Now a certain man was sick, Leayzar from Beth-Naiya, of the village of Maryam and her sister, Marta.

2 ئەم مریەمە ئەوە بوو کە مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆی بە بۆن چەورکرد، بە پرچی پێیەکانی سڕییەوە، لەعازری نەخۆشیش برای بوو.

It was that Maryam who had anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother, Leayzar, was sick.

3 خوشکەکان هەواڵیان بۆ عیسا نارد و گوتیان: «گەورەم، ئەوەتا ئەوەی خۆشتدەوێ نەخۆشە.»

The sisters therefore sent to him, saying, "Lord, look, the one you love is sick."

4 کاتێک عیسا ئەمەی بیست فەرمووی: «ئەم نەخۆشییە بۆ مردن نییە، بەڵکو بۆ شکۆداری خودایە، تاکو بەهۆیەوە کوڕی خودا شکۆدار بێت.»

But when Yeshua heard it, he said, "This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God's Son may be glorified by it."

5 لەگەڵ ئەوەی عیسا مەرسا و خوشکەکەی و لەعازری خۆشدەویست،

Now Yeshua loved Marta, and her sister, and Leayzar.

6 کاتێک بیستی نەخۆشە، دوو ڕۆژی دیکە لەو شوێنەی لێی بوو مایەوە.

When therefore he heard that he was sick, he stayed two days in the place where he was.

7 دوای ئەمە عیسا بە قوتابییەکانی فەرموو: «با بگەڕێینەوە بۆ ناوچەی یەهودیا.»

Then after this he said to the disciples, "Let us go into Yehuda again."

8 قوتابییەکان پێیان گوت: «ڕابی، ماوەیەک لەمەوبەر جولەکەکانی ئەوێ دەیانویست بەردبارانت بکەن، دیسان دەچیتەوە ئەوێ؟»

The disciples told him, "Rabbi, the Jewish leaders were just trying to stone you, and are you going there again?"

9 عیساش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئایا ڕۆژ دوازدە کاتژمێر نییە؟ ئەوەی بە ڕۆژ بڕوات پێی هەڵناکەوێت، چونکە ڕووناکیی ئەم جیهانە دەبینێت.

Yeshua answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.

10 بەڵام ئەوەی بە شەو بڕوات پێی هەڵدەکەوێت، چونکە ڕووناکی تێدا نییە.»

But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him."

11 ئەمانەی فەرموو، پاشان پێی فەرموون: «لەعازری دۆستمان نوستووە، بەڵام دەڕۆم تاکو بەخەبەری بهێنمەوە.»

He said these things, and after that, he said to them, "Our friend, Leayzar, has fallen asleep, but I am going so that I may awake him out of sleep."

12 ئینجا قوتابییەکان پێیان گوت: «گەورەم، ئەگەر ئەو نوستووە، چاکدەبێتەوە.»

Then the disciples said to him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover."

13 عیسا باسی مردنی ئەوی کرد، بەڵام ئەوان وایانزانی باس لە نوستنی ئاسایی دەکات.

Now Yeshua had spoken of his death, but they thought that he spoke of taking rest in sleep.

14 عیساش بە ئاشکرا پێی فەرموون: «لەعازر مردووە.

So Yeshua said to them plainly then, "Leayzar is dead.

15 لەبەر ئێوە دڵشادم کە لەوێ نەبووم، تاکو باوەڕ بهێنن. وەرن، با بڕۆین بۆ لای.»

I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe. Nevertheless, let us go to him."

16 تۆماسیش کە بە دووانە بانگ دەکرا، بە قوتابییە هاوەڵەکانی گوت: «با ئێمەش لەگەڵ ئەودا بڕۆین تاکو لەگەڵ ئەودا بمرین.»

Tama therefore, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us go also, that we may die with him."

17 کاتێک عیسا گەیشت، زانی لەعازر وا چوار ڕۆژە لە گۆڕدایە.

So when Yeshua came, he found that he had been in the tomb four days already.

18 بێت‌عەنیاش نزیکەی پازدە تیرهاوێژ لە ئۆرشەلیمەوە دوور بوو.

Now Beth-Naiya was near Urishlim, about two miles away.

19 ژمارەیەکی زۆر لە جولەکەکان هاتبوونە لای مەرسا و مریەم تاکو سەرەخۆشی براکەیان لێ بکەن.

Many of the Jewish people had come to Marta and Maryam, to console them concerning their brother.

20 کاتێک مەرسا بیستی عیسا هاتووە، بەرەوپیری چوو، بەڵام مریەم لە ماڵ مایەوە.

Then when Marta heard that Yeshua was coming, she went and met him, but Maryam stayed in the house.

21 ئینجا مەرسا بە عیسای گوت: «گەورەم، ئەگەر لێرە بوویتایە، براکەم نەدەمرد.

Therefore Marta said to Yeshua, "Lord, if you would have been here, my brother would not have died.

22 ئێستاش دەزانم هەرچی لە خودا داوا بکەیت، خودا دەتداتێ.»

Even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you."

23 عیسا پێی فەرموو: «براکەت زیندوو دەبێتەوە.»

Yeshua said to her, "Your brother will rise again."

24 مەرساش پێی گوت: «دەزانم لە زیندووبوونەوەی ڕۆژی دواییدا هەڵدەستێتەوە.»

Marta said to him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day."

25 عیسا پێی فەرموو: «منم زیندووبوونەوە و ژیان. ئەوەی باوەڕم پێ بهێنێت، ئەگەر بشمرێت زیندوو دەبێتەوە.

Yeshua said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.

26 هەروەها هەرکەسێک کە زیندووە و باوەڕم پێ بهێنێت، هەرگیز نامرێت. باوەڕ بەمە دەکەیت؟» (aiōn g165)

And whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" (aiōn g165)

27 پێی گوت: «بەڵێ گەورەم. باوەڕم هێناوە کە تۆ مەسیحەکەیت، کوڕی خودای، ئەوەی بۆ جیهان دێت.»

She said to him, "Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Meshikha, the Son of God, he who comes into the world."

28 پاشان کە ئەمەی گوت، چوو مریەمی خوشکی بانگکرد و بە نهێنی گوتی: «مامۆستا لێرەیە، بانگت دەکات.»

And when she had said this, she went away, and called Maryam, her sister, secretly, saying, "The Teacher is here, and is calling you."

29 ئەویش کە ئەمەی بیست خێرا هەستا و هاتە لای.

When she heard this, she arose quickly, and went to him.

30 عیسا هێشتا نەهاتبووە ناو گوندەکە، بەڵکو لەو شوێنە بوو کە مەرسای لێ بینی.

Now Yeshua had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Marta met him.

31 ئەو جولەکانەی لە ماڵەوە لەگەڵی بوون و دڵنەواییان دەکرد، بینییان مریەم خێرا هەستا و چووە دەرەوە، دوای کەوتن، وایانزانی دەچێتە سەر گۆڕەکە تاکو لەوێ بگریێت.

Then the Yehudeans who were with her in the house, and were consoling her, when they saw Maryam, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there.

32 کاتێک مریەم گەیشتە ئەو شوێنەی عیسای لێبوو و ئەوی بینی، بەسەر پێیدا کەوت و پێی گوت: «گەورەم، ئەگەر لێرە بوویتایە، براکەم نەدەمرد.»

Therefore when Maryam came to where Yeshua was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, "Lord, if you would have been here, my brother would not have died."

33 عیساش کە بینی دەگریێت و ئەو جولەکانەش کە لەگەڵی هاتبوون دەگریێن، کاری لە ڕۆحی کرد و خەمبار بوو،

When Yeshua therefore saw her weeping, and the Yehudeans weeping who came with her, he was deeply moved in spirit and was troubled,

34 لێی پرسین: «لەکوێتان داناوە؟» ئەوانیش وەڵامیان دایەوە: «گەورەم، وەرە و ببینە.»

and said, "Where have you put him?" They told him, "Lord, come and see."

35 جا عیسا گریا.

Yeshua wept.

36 لەبەر ئەوە جولەکەکان گوتیان: «سەیر بکەن، چەندی خۆشدەویست!»

The Yehudeans therefore said, "See how he loved him."

37 بەڵام هەندێکیان گوتیان: «ئەمە کە چاوی نابیناکەی چاک کردەوە، ئایا نەیدەتوانی وای بکردایە ئەمیش نەمردایە؟»

But some of them said, "Could not this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?"

38 دیسان عیسا لە ناخەوە خەم دایگرت و هاتە لای گۆڕەکە کە ئەشکەوتێک بوو دەمەکەی بەردێکی پێوەنرابوو.

So Yeshua, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it.

39 عیسا فەرمووی: «بەردەکە لادەن.» مەرسای خوشکی مردووەکە پێی گوت: «گەورەم، بۆنی کردووە، چونکە چوار ڕۆژە.»

Yeshua said, "Take away the stone." Marta, the sister of the dead man, said to him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."

40 عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ئەی پێم نەگوتی ئەگەر باوەڕ بکەیت شکۆی خودا دەبینیت؟»

Yeshua said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see God's glory?"

41 ئەوسا بەردەکەیان لابرد، عیساش چاوی هەڵبڕی بۆ ئاسمان و فەرمووی: «باوکە، سوپاست دەکەم کە گوێت لێ گرتم.

So they took away the stone. And Yeshua lifted up his eyes, and said, "Father, I thank you that you listened to me.

42 دەمزانی کە تۆ هەمیشە گوێم لێ دەگریت. بەڵام لەبەر ئەو خەڵکەی لەم ناوە ڕاوەستاون ئەمەم گوت، تاکو باوەڕ بکەن کە تۆ منت ناردووە.»

I know that you always listen to me, but because of the crowd that stands around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me."

43 کە ئەمەی فەرموو، بە دەنگێکی بەرز هاواری کرد: «لەعازر وەرە دەرەوە!»

When he had said this, he shouted with a loud voice, "Leayzar, come out."

44 ئەوسا مردووەکە هاتە دەرەوە، دەست و قاچی بە کفن بەسترابوو، ڕووشی بە دەسماڵێک پێچرابوو. عیساش پێی فەرموون: «بیکەنەوە، بهێڵن با بڕوا.»

The man who had died came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Yeshua said to them, "Free him, and let him go."

45 لەبەر ئەوە ژمارەیەکی زۆر لە جولەکەکان کە بۆ لای مریەم هاتبوون و ئەمەیان بینی کە عیسا کردی، باوەڕیان پێی هێنا.

Therefore many of the Yehudeans, who came to Maryam and had seen the things which he did, believed in him.

46 بەڵام هەندێکیان چوونە لای فەریسییەکان و ئەوەی عیسا کردبووی پێیان ڕاگەیاندن.

But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Yeshua had done.

47 لەبەر ئەوە کاهینانی باڵا و فەریسییەکان ئەندامانی ئەنجومەنی باڵایان کۆکردەوە. گوتیان: «چی بکەین؟ چونکە ئەم پیاوە پەرجووی زۆر دەکات.

The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, "What are we doing? For this man does many signs.

48 ئەگەر بەم شێوەیە لێیگەڕێین هەموو خەڵکەکە باوەڕی پێ دەهێنن، ڕۆمانییەکانیش دێن، پەرستگاکەمان دەڕووخێنن و نەتەوەکەمان ڕاپێچ دەکەن.»

If we leave him alone like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation."

49 یەکێک لەوان، بە ناوی قەیافا، ئەو ساڵە سەرۆکی کاهینان بوو، پێی گوتن: «ئێوە هیچ نازانن!

But a certain one of them, Qayapha, being high priest that year, said to them, "You know nothing at all,

50 تێناگەن کە باشترە بۆتان پیاوێک لە جیاتی گەل بمرێت، لەوەی کە گەل هەمووی لەناوبچێت.»

nor do you consider that it is advantageous for you that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish."

51 ئەو لە خۆیەوە ئەمەی نەگوت، بەڵکو لەو ساڵەدا سەرۆکی کاهینان بوو، پێشبینیی کرد کە عیسا لە جیاتی گەل دەمرێت،

Now he did not say this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Yeshua would die for the nation,

52 نەک تەنها لە جیاتی ئەو گەلە، بەڵکو تاکو ڕۆڵەکانی خودا کە پەرتەوازە بوون کۆبکاتەوە و یەکیانبخاتەوە.

and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

53 ئیتر لەو ڕۆژەوە پیلانی کوشتنیان داڕشت.

So from that day on they plotted to kill him.

54 لەبەر ئەوە چیتر عیسا بە ئاشکرا بەناو خەڵکی یەهودیادا نەدەگەڕا، بەڵکو لەوێوە چووە ناوچەکانی نزیک چۆڵەوانی، بۆ شارێک ناوی ئەفرایم بوو، لەگەڵ قوتابییەکانی لەوێ مایەوە.

Yeshua therefore walked no more openly among the Yehudeans, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Aphreeim; and stayed there with his disciples.

55 لەو کاتەدا جەژنی پەسخەی جولەکەکان نزیک بوو، زۆر کەس لە گوندەکانەوە پێش جەژن بۆ ئۆرشەلیم هاتبوون تاکو خۆیان پاک بکەنەوە.

Now the Jewish Passover was near, and many went up from the country to Urishlim before the Passover, to purify themselves.

56 جا بە دوای عیسادا دەگەڕان، هەروەها کاتێک لە حەوشەکانی پەرستگا ڕاوەستابوون بە یەکتریان دەگوت: «ڕاتان چییە؟ ئایا بۆ جەژن نایەت؟»

Then they sought for Yeshua and spoke one with another, as they stood in the temple, "What do you think—that he is not coming to the feast at all?"

57 کاهینانی باڵا و فەریسییەکانیش فەرمانیان دەرکردبوو ئەگەر هەرکەسێک بزانێت ئەو لەکوێیە، دەبێت ئاشکرای بکات، تاکو بیگرن.

Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where he was, he should report it, that they might arrest him.

The Raising of Lazarus
