ئەیوب 8

1 ئینجا بیلدەدی شوحی وەڵامی دایەوە:

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said:

2 «هەتا کەی بەم شێوەیە قسە دەکەیت؟ ئەوەی لە دەمت دێتە دەرەوە ڕەشەبایە.

How long wilt thou speak such things? How long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

3 ئایا خودا دادپەروەری بە لاڕێدا دەبات؟ ئایا توانادارەکە ڕاستودروستی بەدرۆدەخاتەوە؟

Will God pervert judgment? Or will the Almighty pervert justice?

4 ئەو کاتەی ڕۆڵەکانت گوناهیان دەرهەق بە خودا کرد، ئەوا خودا سزای گوناهەکانی خۆیانی بەسەر هێنانەوە.

As thy children sinned against him, He hath given them up to their transgression.

5 بەڵام ئەگەر تۆ بەیانییان زوو ڕوو لە خودا بکەیت، لە خودای هەرە بەتوانا بپاڕێیتەوە،

But if thou wilt seek early to God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty, —

6 ئەگەر تۆ بێگەرد و ڕاست بیت، ئەوا هەر ئێستا ئاوڕت لێ دەداتەوە و ماڵەکەی خۆتت وەک پاداشت بۆ دەگەڕێنێتەوە.

If thou wilt be pure and upright, Surely he will yet arise for thee, And prosper thy righteous habitation;

7 پاشەڕۆژەکەت هێندە تێروتەسەل دەبێت، کە سەرەتاکەت زۆر هەژار بووە.

So that thy beginning shall be small, And thy latter end very great.

8 «پرسیار لە نەوەی ڕابردوو بکە و بزانە لە باوباپیرانیانەوە چی فێربوون،

For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, And mark what hath been searched out by their fathers;

9 چونکە ئێمە منداڵی دوێنێین و هیچ نازانین، ڕۆژگاریشمان لەسەر زەوی وەک سێبەر تێدەپەڕێت.

(For we are of yesterday and know nothing, Since our days upon the earth are but a shadow; )

10 ئایا ئەو نەوەیە فێرت ناکەن و پێت ناڵێن؟ یان بە بیری خۆیان قسەت لێ دەرناهێنن؟

Will not they instruct thee, and tell thee, And utter words from their understanding?

11 ئایا زەل بەبێ زۆنگاو گەشە دەکات، یان قامیش بەبێ ئاو شین دەبێت؟

“Can the paper-reed grow up without mire? Can the bulrush grow without water?

12 بەڵکو ئەوان کە هێشتا گەشە دەکەن و نەبڕدراون، کەچی پێش هەموو گیایەک وشک دەبن،

While it is yet in its greenness, and is not cut down, It withereth before any other herb.

13 بەو جۆرەیە سەرگوزەشتەی ژیانی هەموو ئەوانەی خودایان لەبیر کردووە و هیوای خوانەناسان لەناودەچێت.

Such is the fate of all who forget God; So perisheth the hope of the ungodly.

14 ئەوەی پاڵپشتەکەیەتی دەبڕدرێتەوە، پشتی بە تەونی جاڵجاڵۆکە بەستووە.

His confidence shall come to nought, And his trust shall prove a spider's web.

15 خۆی بە تەونەکەوە ڕادەگرێت بەڵام دەپچڕێت، دەستی پێوە دەگرێت و خۆی ڕاناگرێت.

He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand; He shall lay fast hold on it, but it shall not endure.

16 ئەوانە وەک ڕووەکێکی تەڕ لەژێر تیشکی خۆردان، کە لەناو باخچەکەیدا چڵی تازە دەردەکات.

He is in full green before the sun, And his branches shoot forth over his garden;

17 بەسەر کۆمەڵە بەرددا ڕەگ دادەکوتێت و بە تاشەبەردەکانەوە خۆیان توند دەگرن.

His roots are entwined about the heap, And he seeth the place of stones;

18 بەڵام کە لە شوێنی خۆی هەڵکەنرا، شوێنەکەی نکۆڵی لێ دەکات و دەڵێ:”من جێگای تۆ نیم.“

When he shall be destroyed from his place, It shall deny him, saying, 'I never saw thee.'

19 ببینە، خۆشی ژیانەکەی تەنها ئەوەیە، کە لە جێگاکەیەوە یەکێکی دیکە چەکەرە دەکات.

Lo! such is the joy of his course! And others shall spring up from his place”

20 «بێگومان خودا ئەو کەسە ڕەت ناکاتەوە کە بێ کەموکوڕی بێت، کە هانی خراپەکاران نادات.

Behold, God will not cast away an upright man; Nor will he help the evil-doers.

21 کاتێک دەمت پڕ لە پێکەنین دەکات و لێوەکانت پڕ لە هوتاف،

While he filleth thy mouth with laughter, And thy lips with gladness,

22 ناحەزانت شەرمەزاری لەبەر دەکەن و ڕەشماڵی خراپەکارانیش تەفروتوونا دەبن.»

They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame, And the dwelling-place of the wicked shall come to nought.
