ئەیوب 37

1 «لەبەر ئەمە دڵم خورپە دەکات و لە جێی خۆی دەست دەکات بە کوتان.

At this my heart trembles, beating rapidly within me!

2 بۆ نەڕەی دەنگەکەی و گرمەگرمی دەمی گوێ شل بکە!

Listen carefully to God's thunderous voice that rumbles as he speaks.

3 لەژێر هەموو ئاسمان هەتا ئەوپەڕی زەوی، بە بروسکەکەی دەردەبڕێت.

He sends it across the heaven; his lightning flashes to the ends of the earth.

4 لەدوای ئەوەش هەر دەنگی نەڕەکەی دێت، بە دەنگی پڕ شانازییەکەی دەگرمێنێت. کاتێک دەنگ دەداتەوە بروسکەکەی ڕاناگرێت.

Then comes the roar of thunder, his majestic voice holding nothing back when he speaks.

5 خودا بە دەنگێکی سەرسوڕهێنەر دەگرمێنێت؛ کاری مەزنی وا دەکات کە ئێمە تێیناگەین.

God's thunderous voice is wonderful! We can't comprehend the great things he does!

6 بە بەفر دەفەرموێت:”بکەوە سەر زەوی،“هەروەها بە تاوە باران دەفەرموێت:”بە لێزمە ببارێ.“

He tells the snow to fall and the rain to pour down on the earth.

7 مۆر لە دەستی هەموو مرۆڤێک دەدات، بۆ ئەوەی هەموو خەڵکی دروستکەری خۆیان بناسن.

By this he stops people working so that everyone can understand what he does.

8 گیانلەبەران دەچنە ناو لانەکانی خۆیانەوە و لەناو کونەکانی خۆیان دەمێننەوە.

Even the animals take shelter and remain in their dens.

9 لە باشوورەوە ڕەشەبا دێت و لە باکووریشەوە سەرما.

The south wind blows in storms, while the north wind blows in cold weather.

10 لە هەناسەی خوداوە بەستەڵەک پەیدا دەبێت و سەر ڕووی ئاوەکان دەبنە سەهۆڵ.

God's breath produces ice, freezing the surface of water solid.

11 هەروەها هەورەکان بە شێ بار دەکات؛ بروسکەکەی بەناو هەورەکاندا پەرت دەکات.

He fills the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning from them.

12 بەگوێرەی خواستی ئەو لەسەر ڕووی زەوی ئاوەدان دەگەڕێن هەتا هەموو ئەوە بکات کە فەرمانی پێ دەکرێت.

They swirl around under his control; they move over all the earth as he commands.

13 هەورەکان دەهێنێت بۆ تەمبێکردنی خەڵک، یان بۆ ئەوەی ئاو بداتە زەوییەکەی و خۆشەویستییە نەگۆڕەکەی پیشان بدات.

He does this to accomplish his will, either to discipline or to show his goodness.

14 «ئەیوب گوێ بۆ ئەمە شل بکە! هەستە و لە پەرجووەکانی خودا وردبەرەوە.

Listen to this, Job! Stop for a moment and consider the wonderful things God does.

15 ئایا دەزانیت خودا چۆن فەرمان بە هەورەکان دەکات، یان درەوشانەوەی هەورە بروسکەکەی چۆنە؟

Do you know how God controls the clouds, or makes his lightning flash from them?

16 ئایا دەزانیت چۆن هەورەکان بە ئاسمانەوە وەستاون، ئایا کارە سەرسوڕهێنەرەکانی خودا دەزانیت ئەوەی کە زانیاری تەواوە؟

Do you know how clouds float in the sky—the wonderful work of him who knows everything.

17 ئەی ئەوەی لەناو جلوبەرگەکەت گەرما دەتخوات بە کپبوونی زەوی بە بای باشوور،

You know how your clothes drip with sweat when the south wind brings air that is hot and heavy.

18 ئایا دەتوانیت هاوکاری ئەو بکەیت ئاسمان بڵاو بکەیتەوە، کە وەک ئاوێنەیەکی لە بڕۆنز داڕێژراو ڕەقە؟

Can you hammer out the sky so it becomes like a molten mirror, as he does?

19 «پێمان بڵێ کە چی پێ بڵێین؛ لەبەر ئەوەی ئێمە لە تاریکیداین ناتوانین داواکارییەکەمان ئامادە بکەین.

So why don't you teach us what to tell God? We cannot make our case because we are in the dark!

20 ئایا دەبێت پێی بگوترێت کە من دەمەوێ قسە بکەم؟ ئایا مرۆڤ قسە دەکات بۆ ئەوەی خۆی بە قووتدان بدات؟

Should God be told that I want to speak? Anyone who wanted to would be destroyed!

21 ئێستاش کەس ناتوانێت تەماشای خۆر بکات کە لە ئاسماندا دەدرەوشێتەوە دوای ئەوەی با هەڵیکرد و ئاسمانی بێگەرد کرد.

After all, we can't look at the sun when it blazes brightly in the sky, after the wind has cleared away the clouds.

22 لە باکوورەوە بە شکۆمەندییەکی زێڕین دێت، خودای شکۆدار و سامناک دێت.

Out of the north God comes shining like gold, surrounded in awesome majesty.

23 ئێمە پەی بە خودای هەرە بەتوانای باڵادەست نابەین، کە لەبەر دادپەروەرییە مەزنەکەی و ڕاستودروستییە زۆرەکەی ستەم ناکات.

We cannot approach the Almighty for he is far beyond us in power and justice, and doing right.

24 لەبەر ئەمە خەڵکی لێی دەترسن، چونکە ئاوڕ دەداتەوە لەوانەی کە بە دڵیان دانان.»

He does not act like a tyrant—no wonder people are in awe of him, though he does not value those who think they're wise.”
