ئەیوب 31

1 «پەیمانم لەگەڵ چاوەکانم بەست، ئیتر چۆن تەماشای پاکیزەیەک بکەم؟

I made a couenant with mine eyes: why then should I thinke on a mayde?

2 بەشی ئێمە لە خودا لە سەرەوە چییە، چ میراتێکمان هەیە لە توانادارەکەی ئاسمان؟

For what portion should I haue of God from aboue? and what inheritance of the Almightie from on hie?

3 ئایا کارەسات بۆ بەدکار و بەڵا بۆ خراپەکار نییە؟

Is not destruction to the wicked and strange punishment to the workers of iniquitie?

4 ئایا ئەو تەماشای ڕێگای من ناکات و هەموو هەنگاوەکانم ناژمێرێت؟

Doeth not he beholde my wayes and tell all my steps?

5 «ئەگەر لەگەڵ درۆ ملی ڕێم گرتبێتەبەر یان پێیەکانم پەلەیان کردبێت بەرەو فێڵ،

If I haue walked in vanitie, or if my foote hath made haste to deceite,

6 با خودا لە تەرازووی ڕاستودروستیدا بمکێشێت و بزانێت کە کەموکوڕیم نییە.

Let God weigh me in the iust balance, and he shall know mine vprightnes.

7 ئەگەر هەنگاوەکانم لە ڕێچکە لایانداوە، ئەگەر دڵم بەدوای چاوم کەوتووە، یان ئەگەر کردەوەکانم دەستەکانی منیان گڵاو کردووە،

If my steppe hath turned out of the way, or mine heart hath walked after mine eye, or if any blot hath cleaued to mine handes,

8 ئەوا ئەوەی من چاندم با کەسانی دیکە بیخۆن، با لقەکانم ڕیشەکێش بکرێن.

Let me sowe, and let another eate: yea, let my plantes be rooted out.

9 «ئەگەر دڵم بەلای ژنێکدا فریوی خواردووە، یان لە بەردەرگای دراوسێکەم بۆسەم داناوە،

If mine heart hath bene deceiued by a woman, or if I haue layde wayte at the doore of my neighbour,

10 با ژنەکەم دانەوێڵەی پیاوێکی دیکە بهاڕێت و با خەڵکانی دیکە بەسەریدا بچەمێنەوە.

Let my wife grinde vnto another man, and let other men bow downe vpon her:

11 لەبەر ئەوەی ئەمە بێ ناموسییە، تاوانە و پێویستە دادگایی بکرێت.

For this is a wickednes, and iniquitie to bee condemned:

12 ئاگرێکە هەتا لەناوچوون دەخوات و هەموو دروێنەکەم ڕیشەکێش دەکات.

Yea, this is a fire that shall deuoure to destruction, and which shall roote out al mine increase,

13 «ئەگەر مافی خزمەتکار و کارەکەرەکەم ڕەت کردووەتەوە کاتێک لە دژی من سکاڵایان کردووە،

If I did contemne the iudgement of my seruant, and of my mayde, when they did contend with me,

14 ئەو کاتە چی بکەم لە کاتی ڕووبەڕووبوونەوەم لەگەڵ خودا؟ ئەگەر لێکۆڵینەوەم لەگەڵ بکرێت بە چی وەڵامی بدەمەوە؟

What then shall I do when God standeth vp? and when he shall visit me, what shall I answere?

15 ئایا دروستکەری من لە سکدا دروستکەری ئەوانیش نییە؟ ئایا شێوەکێشمان لە سکی دایک یەک نییە؟

He that hath made me in the wombe, hath he not made him? hath not he alone facioned vs in the wombe?

16 «ئەگەر هەژارانم لە مرازی خۆیان قەدەغە کردبێت یان چاوی بێوەژنم فەوتاندبێت،

If I restrained the poore of their desire, or haue caused the eyes of the widow to faile,

17 یان پارووەکەی خۆم بە تەنها خواردبێت، کە هەتیو لێی نەخواردبێت،

Or haue eaten my morsels alone, and the fatherles hath not eaten thereof,

18 بەڵام لە گەنجیمەوە وەک باوک بە هەتیوی بەخێوم کردووە و لە سکی دایکمەوە ڕێنمایی بێوەژنم کردووە.

(For from my youth hee hath growen vp with me as with a father, and from my mothers wombe I haue bene a guide vnto her)

19 ئەگەر فەوتاوێکم بینیبێت لەبەر نەبوونی جل یان نەدارێکی بێ بەرگ،

If I haue seene any perish for want of clothing, or any poore without couering,

20 کە بە کەوڵی مەڕەکەم خۆیان گەرم نەکردووەتەوە ئیتر لە دڵیانەوە داوای بەرەکەتیان بۆ نەکردووم،

If his loynes haue not blessed me, because he was warmed with the fleece of my sheepe,

21 ئەگەر پەیوەندیم لەگەڵ کاربەدەستانم بەکارهێناوە بۆ ئەوەی دەستدرێژی بکەمە سەر هەتیو،

If I haue lift vp mine hande against the fatherlesse, when I saw that I might helpe him in the gate,

22 با شانم لە ئەستۆم بەربێتەوە و با قۆڵم لە جومگەکەیەوە بشکێت.

Let mine arme fal from my shoulder, and mine arme be broken from the bone.

23 لەبەر ئەوەی کارەسات لە خوداوە بەلامەوە تۆقێنەرە و لە ترسی شکۆیەکەی نەمتوانی شتی وا بکەم.

For Gods punishment was fearefull vnto me, and I could not be deliuered from his highnes.

24 «ئەگەر پشتم بە زێڕی خۆم بەستووە و ئەگەر بە زێڕی بێگەردم گوت:”تۆ پاڵپشتی منی،“

If I made gold mine hope, or haue sayd to the wedge of golde, Thou art my confidence,

25 ئەگەر دڵخۆش بووم کە سامانەکەم زۆر بوو و لەبەر ئەوەی زۆریان بەدەستهێناوە،

If I reioyced because my substance was great, or because mine hand had gotten much,

26 ئەگەر تەماشای ڕووناکی خۆرم کردووە کاتێک درەوشاوەتەوە، یان مانگ کاتێک بە جوانییەوە دەڕوات

If I did behold the sunne, when it shined, or the moone, walking in her brightnes,

27 تاوەکو دڵم بە نهێنی فریودراو و دەستم دەمی داپۆشی،

If mine heart did flatter me in secrete, or if my mouth did kisse mine hand,

28 ئەوا ئەمانەش تاوان دەبن و دەدرێن بە دادگا، چونکە ئەگەر شتی وام بکردایە ناپاک دەبووم بەرامبەر بە خودا لە سەرەوە.

(This also had bene an iniquitie to be condemned: for I had denied the God aboue)

29 «ئەگەر بە بەڵای ناحەزەکەم دڵخۆش بووم یان بزەم گرت کە تووشی خراپە بوو،

If I reioyced at his destruction that hated me, or was mooued to ioye when euill came vpon him,

30 بەڵکو نەمهێشت مەڵاشووم گوناه بکات بەوەی کە بە نەفرەتەوە داوای ژیانی ئەو بکات؛

Neither haue I suffred my mouth to sinne, by wishing a curse vnto his soule.

31 ئەگەر کەسانی ناو چادرەکەم هەرگیز نەیانگوتایە،”کێ یەکێک دەهێنێت لە خواردنەکەی ئەیوب تێری نەخواردبێت؟“

Did not the men of my Tabernacle say, Who shall giue vs of his flesh? we can not bee satisfied.

32 ئاوارەیەک لە دەرەوە شەوی بەسەرنەبرد، دەرگای ماڵەکەم بۆ ڕێبوار کردەوە.

The stranger did not lodge in the streete, but I opened my doores vnto him, that went by the way.

33 ئەگەر وەک خەڵکی دیکە یاخیبوونی خۆم داپۆشیوە، بە شاردنەوەی تاوانەکانم لە باوەشی خۆم،

If I haue hid my sinne, as Adam, concealing mine iniquitie in my bosome,

34 بەهۆی ئەوەی لە قسەی خەڵک ترساوم، لە سووکایەتی پێکردنی خێڵەکان تۆقیوم، لەبەر ئەوەیە کە بێدەنگم و لە ماڵەوە دانیشتووم.

Though I could haue made afraid a great multitude, yet the most contemptible of the families did feare me: so I kept silence, and went not out of the doore.

35 «خۆزگە یەکێک دەبوو گوێی لێم دەگرت! ئەوەتا مۆری من، با خودای هەرە بەتوانا وەڵامم پێ بداتەوە؛ ئەوەی سکاڵا لە من دەکات با سکاڵانامەکەی پێشکەش بکات.

Oh that I had some to heare me! beholde my signe that the Almightie will witnesse for me: though mine aduersary should write a booke against me,

36 بێگومان لەسەر شانم هەڵمدەگرت، دەمبەست وەک تاج بەسەرمەوە.

Woulde not I take it vpon my shoulder, and binde it as a crowne vnto me?

37 ژمارەی هەنگاوەکانی خۆم پێی دەگوت، پێشکەشیشم دەکرد وەک بۆ فەرمانڕەوایەک.

I will tell him the nomber of my goings, and goe vnto him as to a prince.

38 «ئەگەر زەوییەکەم هاواری کردووە لە دژی من و هەموو هێڵی جووتەکانی بە فرمێسک تەڕ دەبێت،

If my lande cry against me, or the furrowes thereof complayne together,

39 ئەگەر بەروبوومەکەی ئەوم بەبێ پارە خواردووە یان گیانی کرێچییەکانیم کوژاندووەتەوە،

If I haue eaten the fruites thereof without siluer: or if I haue grieued the soules of the masters thereof,

40 با لە جێی گەنم دڕک بڕووێت و لە جێی جۆ زیوان.» وشەکانی ئەیوب تەواو بوون.

Let thistles growe in steade of wheate, and cockle in the stead of Barley. The wordes of Iob are ended.
