ئەیوب 12

1 ئەیوبیش وەڵامی دایەوە:

And Job answered and said,

2 «ڕاستە ئێوە گەلێکن، بە مردنتان داناییش دەمرێت،

No doubt but ye [are] the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

3 بەڵام منیش وەک ئێوە تێگەیشتنم هەیە، من لە ئێوە کەمتر نیم. ئایا ئەوەی تۆ دەیڵێیت لای هەموو کەسێک نەزانراوە؟

But I have understanding as well as you; I [am] not inferior to you: yes, who knoweth not such things as these?

4 «لە خودا پاڕامەوە و ئەویش وەڵامی دایەوە، بەڵام بووم بە گاڵتەجاڕی هاوڕێیەکانم، هەرچەندە پیاوێکی ڕاستودروست و بێ کەموکوڕیم، بوومە مایەی گاڵتەجاڕی!

I am [as] one mocked by his neighbor, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright [man is] derided.

5 کەسێکی دڵنیا گاڵتە بە شکستی پێ هەڵخلیسکاو دەکات.

He that is ready to slip with [his] feet [is as] a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

6 چادری تێکدەران ئارامە و ئاسوودەییش بۆ ئەوانەی خودا تووڕە دەکەن، بۆ ئەوانەی بە دەستی خۆیان بتەکانیان دەهێنن.

The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth [abundantly].

7 «بەڵام پرسیار لە ئاژەڵان بکە، ئەوان فێرت دەکەن، هەروەها پرسیار لە باڵندەی ئاسمانیش بکە، ئەوان پێت ڕادەگەیەنن؛

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

8 یان لەگەڵ زەوی بدوێ، فێرت دەکات، ماسی دەریاش بۆت باس دەکەن.

Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare to thee.

9 کام لەمانە نازانێت کە دەستی خودا ئەمەی ئەنجام داوە؟

Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

10 ئەوەی ژیانی هەموو زیندووێک و ڕۆحی هەموو مرۆڤێکی لەناو دەستدایە؟

In whose hand [is] the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

11 ئایا گوێ قسەکان تاقی ناکاتەوە و مەڵاشوو تامی خواردن ناکات؟

Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste its food?

12 لە ڕیش سپیێتی دانایی و لە تەمەن درێژیش تێگەیشتن.

With the ancient [is] wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

13 «دانایی و تواناداری لەلای خوداوەیە، ڕاوێژ و تێگەیشتن هی ئەون.

With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

14 ئەوەی دەڕووخێنێت بنیاد نانرێتەوە، ئەگەر دەرگای لەسەر کەسێک داخست لێی ناکرێتەوە.

Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

15 ڕێ لە ئاو دەگرێت، وشکەساڵی دێت، بەڕەڵای دەکات زەوی سەرەوژێر دەکات.

Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

16 هێز و دانایی لەلای ئەوە، چەواشەکار و چەواشەکراو هی ئەون.

With him [is] strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver [are] his.

17 ڕاوێژکاران بە پێ خاوسی دەبات، دادوەران تووشی شێتی دەکات.

He leadeth counselors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.

18 کۆتی پاشاکان دەکاتەوە و ناوقەدیان بە پشتێن دەبەستێتەوە.

He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.

19 کاهینەکان بە پێ خاوسی دەبات و پتەوەکان سەرەوژێر دەکات.

He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

20 ڕێگری گفتوگۆ لە شارەزایان دەکات، ژیری لە پیران دەستێنێتەوە.

He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

21 سووکایەتی بەسەر پایەداراندا دەبارێنێت و پشتێنی بەهێزان شل دەکاتەوە.

He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

22 قووڵاییەکان لە تاریکی ئاشکرا دەکات و سێبەری مەرگ بۆ ڕووناکی دەردەخات.

He revealeth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth to light the shades of death.

23 نەتەوەکان مەزن دەکات و لەناویان دەبات، نەتەوەکان بەرفراوان دەکات و پەرتەوازەیان دەکات.

He increaseth nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth nations, and straiteneth them [again].

24 مێشک لە سەرکردەکانی گەلی زەوی دەستێنێتەوە و لە چۆڵەوانییەکی بێ ڕێگا وێڵیان دەکات.

He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness [where there is] no way.

25 لە تاریکیدا بە پەلەکوتێ دەڕۆن و ڕووناکی نییە، وەک سەرخۆش بە ئەملا و ئەولادا دەکەون.

They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like [a] drunken [man].
