یەرمیا 2

1 فەرمایشتی یەزدانم بۆ هات، پێی فەرمووم:

Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 «بڕۆ و بە ئۆرشەلیمی ڕابگەیەنە با خەڵکەکە بیبیستن، بڵێ: «یەزدان ئەمە دەفەرموێت: «”بە یادی خۆمم هێنایەوە، دڵسۆزی کاتی مێردمنداڵیت و خۆشەویستی کاتی بووکێنیت، بەدوای مندا ڕۆیشتیت لە چۆڵەوانی، بە خاکێکدا کە کشتوکاڵی تێدا نەبوو.

“Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem that this is what the LORD says: ‘I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

3 ئیسرائیل بۆ یەزدان پیرۆز بوو، یەکەمین بەرهەمی بەروبوومەکەیەتی. هەموو ئەوانەی خواردیان تاوانیان کرد، بەڵایان بەسەردا هات.“» ئەوە فەرمایشتی یەزدانە.

Israel was holy to the LORD, the firstfruits of His harvest. All who devoured her found themselves guilty; disaster came upon them,’” declares the LORD.

4 گوێ لە فەرمایشتی یەزدان بگرن، ئەی بنەماڵەی یاقوب، ئەی هەموو خێڵەکانی بنەماڵەی ئیسرائیل،

Hear the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all you families of the house of Israel.

5 یەزدان ئەمە دەفەرموێت: «باوباپیرانتان چ کەموکوڕییەکیان لە مندا بینی کە لێم دوورکەوتنەوە؟ چوون دوای بتی پووچ کەوتن و خۆیان پووچ کرد.

This is what the LORD says: “What fault did your fathers find in Me that they strayed so far from Me, and followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

6 پرسیاریان نەکرد:”کوا یەزدان، ئەوەی لە خاکی میسرەوە دەریهێناین، ئەوەی ئێمەی بەناو چۆڵەوانیدا برد، بە خاکێکی ڕووتەن و چاڵوچۆڵدا، بە خاکێکی وشک و سێبەری مەرگ، بە خاکێکدا کە کەسی پێدا تێنەپەڕیبوو، کەس لەوێ نیشتەجێ نەببوو؟“

They did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD who brought us up from the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and pits, a land of drought and darkness, a land where no one travels and no one lives?’

7 ئێوەم هێنایە ناو خاکێکی بەپیت بۆ ئەوەی بەروبووم و بەرهەمە چاکەکانی بخۆن. بەڵام هاتن و زەوییەکەی منتان گڵاو کرد، میراتەکەی منتان قێزەون کرد.

I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and bounty, but you came and defiled My land, and made My inheritance detestable.

8 کاهینەکان پرسیاریان نەکرد:”کوا یەزدان؟“ئەوانەی مامۆستای تەوراتن نەیانناسیم، ڕابەرەکان لێم یاخی بوون، پێغەمبەرەکان بەهۆی بەعلەوە پێشبینییان کرد، دوای بتی پووچ کەوتن.»

The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD?’ The experts in the law no longer knew Me, and the leaders rebelled against Me. The prophets prophesied by Baal and followed useless idols.

9 یەزدان دەفەرموێت: «لەبەر ئەوە دیسان دادگاییتان دەکەم، منداڵی منداڵیشتان پەلکێشی دادگا دەکەم.

Therefore, I will contend with you again, declares the LORD, and I will bring a case against your children’s children.

10 لە کەنارەکانی کیتیم بپەڕنەوە و ببینن، بنێرن بۆ قێدار و بە وردی سەرنج بدەن، ببینن ئاخۆ شتی وەک ئەمە بووە؟

Cross over to the coasts of Cyprus and take a look; send to Kedar and consider carefully; see if there has ever been anything like this:

11 ئایا هیچ نەتەوەیەک خوداوەندەکانی خۆی گۆڕیوە؟ هەرچەندە خودا نین. بەڵام گەلەکەی من خودای شکۆمەندیان گۆڕییەوە بە بتی پووچ.

Has a nation ever changed its gods, though they are no gods at all? Yet My people have exchanged their Glory for useless idols.

12 ئەی ئاسمان، لەبەر ئەمە واقت وڕبمێنێت، موچڕکەت پێدابێت و زۆر سەرسام بە.» ئەوە فەرمایشتی یەزدانە.

Be stunned by this, O heavens; be shocked and utterly appalled,”

13 «گەلەکەم دوو خراپەی کردووە: وازیان لە من هێنا، من کە کانی ئاوی ژیانم، هەروەها ئەمباراویان بۆ خۆیان هەڵکەند، ئەمباراوی شکاو کە ئاو ڕاناگرێت.

“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water, and they have dug their own cisterns— broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

14 ئایا ئیسرائیل کۆیلەیە؟ یان کوڕی کۆیلەی لەدایک بووی ماڵە؟ بۆچی بوو بە تاڵانی؟

Is Israel a slave? Was he born into slavery? Why then has he become prey?

15 بەچکە شێران بەسەریدا نەڕاندیان، دەنگیان هات، خاکەکەیان وێران کردووە، شارۆچکەکانی سووتاون، بێ دانیشتووانن.

The young lions have roared at him; they have growled with a loud voice. They have laid waste his land; his cities lie in ruins, without inhabitant.

16 هەروەها نەوەی مەمفیس و تەحپەنحێس تەپڵی سەری تۆیان تراشیووە.

The men of Memphis and Tahpanhes have shaved the crown of your head.

17 ئایا تۆ ئەمەت بە خۆت نەکرد، کە وازت لە یەزدانی پەروەردگارت هێنا کاتێک بە ڕێگادا دەیبردیت؟

Have you not brought this on yourself by forsaking the LORD your God when He led you in the way?

18 ئێستا بۆچی دەچیتە میسر بۆ خواردنەوەی ئاوی نیل؟ ئێستا بۆچی دەچیتە ئاشور بۆ خواردنەوەی ئاوی ڕووباری فورات؟

Now what will you gain on your way to Egypt to drink the waters of the Nile? What will you gain on your way to Assyria to drink the waters of the Euphrates?

19 خراپەی خۆت تەمبێت دەکات و هەڵگەڕانەوەت سەرزەنشتت دەکات. جا بزانە و ببینە کە بۆتان خراپ و تاڵە، کاتێک واز لە یەزدانی پەروەردگارت دەهێنیت و ترسی منت لە دڵدا نییە،» ئەوە فەرمایشتی یەزدانە، پەروەردگاری سوپاسالار.

Your own evil will discipline you; your own apostasies will reprimand you. Consider and realize how evil and bitter it is for you to forsake the LORD your God and to have no fear of Me,”

20 «تۆ لە کۆنەوە نیری خۆتت شکاندووە، کۆتەکانت پساندووە، گوتت:”تۆ ناپەرستم!“تۆ بە ڕاستی لەسەر هەموو گردێکی بەرز و لەژێر هەموو دارێکی سەوزدا وەک لەشفرۆشێک ڕاکشایت.

“For long ago you broke your yoke and tore off your chains, saying, ‘I will not serve!’ Indeed, on every high hill and under every green tree you lay down as a prostitute.

21 من وەک شامێوێک لە نایابترین جۆر تۆم چاند، ئیتر چۆن لێم گۆڕایت، گۆڕایت بۆ زڕمێو؟

I had planted you like a choice vine from the very best seed. How could you turn yourself before Me into a rotten, wild vine?

22 هەرچەندە بە سۆدەش خۆت بشۆیت، زیاد سابوونیش لە خۆت بدەیت، هێشتا لەکەی تاوانەکەت لەبەردەممە.» ئەمە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی باڵادەستە.

Although you wash with lye and use an abundance of soap, the stain of your guilt is still before Me,”

23 «ئیتر چۆن دەڵێیت:”گڵاو نەبووم، دوای بەعلەکان نەکەوتووم؟“تەماشای ڕێگاکەی خۆت بکە لە دۆڵەکە، بزانە چیت کردووە. تۆ وەک وشترە سووکەکەی کە لە ڕۆیشتندا بەلادادێی،

“How can you say, ‘I am not defiled; I have not run after the Baals’? Look at your behavior in the valley; acknowledge what you have done. You are a swift young she-camel galloping here and there,

24 وەک کەرەکێوییەکەی کە فێری چۆڵەوانیت، لەتاو هەوەسی با هەڵدەمژێت، لە کاتی بەتەڵەب هاتنی کێ دەیگێڕێتەوە؟ هەموو ئەوانەی داوای دەکەن بەبێ ماندووبوون لە کاتی زاوزێ دەیدۆزنەوە.

a wild donkey at home in the wilderness, sniffing the wind in the heat of her desire. Who can restrain her passion? All who seek her need not weary themselves; in mating season they will find her.

25 ئەوەندە مەگەڕێ تاوەکو ئەوەی پێیەکانت ڕووت بێتەوە و گەرووت وشک بێت. بەڵام گوتت:”بێهوودەیە! نا! چونکە خوداوەندە بێگانەکانم خۆشویستووە، دوای ئەوان دەکەوم.“

You should have kept your feet from going bare and your throat from being thirsty. But you said, ‘It is hopeless! For I love foreign gods, and I must go after them.’

26 «وەک شەرمەزاری دز کە دەگیرێت، ئاوا بنەماڵەی ئیسرائیل شەرمەزاربوون، خۆیان و پاشا و میر و کاهین و پێغەمبەرەکانیان.

As the thief is ashamed when he is caught, so the house of Israel is disgraced. They, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets

27 هەریەکەیان بە دار دەڵێت:”تۆ باوکی منیت“و بە بەرد:”تۆ منت بووە.“پشتیان تێ کردم نەک ڕوو، بەڵام لە کاتی بەڵایاندا دەڵێن:”هەستە و ڕزگارمان بکە!“

say to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ and to a stone, ‘You gave me birth.’ For they have turned their backs to Me and not their faces, yet in the time of trouble they beg, ‘Rise up and save us!’

28 ئیتر کوا خوداوەندەکانت کە بۆ خۆت دروستت کردن؟ با هەستن، ئەگەر لە کاتی بەڵادا دەتوانن ڕزگارت بکەن! ئەی یەهودا، خوداوەندەکانت بەقەد ژمارەی شارۆچکەکانتن.»

But where are the gods you made for yourselves? Let them rise up in your time of trouble and save you if they can; for your gods are as numerous as your cities, O Judah.

29 یەزدان دەفەرموێت: «بۆچی سکاڵام لێ دەکەن؟ هەمووتان لێم یاخی بوون،

Why do you bring a case against Me? You have all rebelled against Me,”

30 بەخۆڕایی سزای منداڵەکانتانم دا، تەمبێکردنیان وەرنەگرت، شمشێرەکانتان پێغەمبەرەکانتانی خوارد، وەک شێرێکی لەناوبەر.

“I have struck your sons in vain; they accepted no discipline. Your own sword has devoured your prophets like a voracious lion.”

31 «ئەی نەوە، ئێوە ئاگاداری فەرمایشتی یەزدان بن: «ئایا بۆ ئیسرائیل بووم بە چۆڵەوانی، یان خاکی تاریک و تنۆک؟ بۆچی گەلەکەم دەڵێن:”بەڕەڵا بووین، ئیتر بۆ لات نایەینەوە؟“

You people of this generation, consider the word of the LORD: “Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of dense darkness? Why do My people say, ‘We are free to roam; we will come to You no more’?

32 ئایا کچ خشڵی خۆی لەبیر دەکات، یان بووک جلی بووکێنی؟ بەڵام گەلەکەی خۆم ڕۆژانێکی بێشومار منیان لەبیر کرد.

Does a maiden forget her jewelry or a bride her wedding sash? Yet My people have forgotten Me for days without number.

33 تۆ چەند لێزانیت لە گەڕان بەدوای خۆشەویستیدا! تەنانەت سۆزانییەکانیشت فێری ڕێگای خۆت کرد.

How skillfully you pursue love! Even the most immoral of women could learn from your ways.

34 هەروەها بە جلەکانتەوە دەبینرێت، خوێنی گیانی نەدارە بێتاوانەکان، هەرچەندە ئەوانت لە کاتی دیواربڕیندا نەگرت. بەڵام لە سەرووی هەموو ئەمانەشەوە

Moreover, your skirts are stained with the blood of the innocent poor, though you did not find them breaking in. But in spite of all these things

35 دەڵێیت:”من بێتاوانم، خودا لە من تووڕە نییە.“بەڵام دادگاییت دەکەم، چونکە گوتت:”گوناهم نەکرد.“

you say, ‘I am innocent. Surely His anger will turn from me.’ Behold, I will judge you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’

36 بۆچی زۆر دەگەڕێیت بۆ گۆڕینی ڕێگاکانت؟ هەروەها لە میسریش شەرمەزار دەبیت، وەک چۆن لە ئاشور شەرمەزار بوویت.

How unstable you are, constantly changing your ways! You will be disappointed by Egypt just as you were by Assyria.

37 هەروەها میسر بەجێدەهێڵیت و وەک دیل دەستەکانت بەسەر سەرتەوە دەبن، چونکە ئەوانەی تۆ پشتیان پێ دەبەستیت یەزدان ڕەتیکردنەوە، بەوان سەرکەوتوو نابیت.»

Moreover, you will leave that place with your hands on your head, for the LORD has rejected those you trust; you will not prosper by their help.”
