ئیشایا 20

1 لە ساڵی هاتنی فەرماندە گشتییەکە بۆ ئەشدۆد، کاتێک سەرگۆنی پاشای ئاشور ناردی و لەگەڵ ئەشدۆد جەنگا و گرتی،

In the year that Tartan came to Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him, (and he fought against Ashdod and took it, )

2 لەو کاتەدا یەزدان لە ڕێگەی ئیشایای کوڕی ئامۆچەوە قسەی کرد و فەرمووی: «بڕۆ جلوبەرگە گوشەکە لە کەمەرت بکەرەوە و پێڵاوەکانت لە پێت دابکەنە.» ئەویش بەم جۆرەی کرد و بە ڕووتی و پێ خاوسی ڕۆیشت.

at that time spoke Jehovah by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy sandal from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

3 ئینجا یەزدان فەرمووی: «وەک ئەوەی ئیشایای بەندەم بۆ ماوەی سێ ساڵ بە ڕووتی و پێ خاوسی ڕۆیشت، ئەمە نیشانە و پەندە لەسەر میسر و لەسەر کوش،

And Jehovah said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years, a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,

4 پاشای ئاشوریش بۆ ڕیسوایی میسر بەم جۆرە ڕاپێچکراوانی میسر و دیلەکانی کوش، گەنج و پیر بە ڕووتی و پێ خاوسی و سمت ڕووتی دەداتە پێش خۆی.

so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, [to] the shame of Egypt.

5 دەتۆقن و شەرمەزار دەبن لەبەر کوش کە مایەی هیوایان بوو و لەبەر میسر کە مایەی شانازییان بوو.

And they shall be terrified and ashamed of Ethiopia their confidence, and of Egypt their boast.

6 جا دانیشتووی ئەم کەنارە لەو ڕۆژەدا دەڵێت:”سەیر بکەن چی بەسەر ئەوانەدا هاتووە کە چاوەڕێمان دەکرد لە بەرامبەر پاشای ئاشور فریامان بکەون! ئیتر ئێمە چۆن ڕزگارمان دەبێت؟“»

And the inhabitants of this coast shall say in that day, Behold, such is our confidence, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and how shall we escape?
