پەیدابوون 39

1 یوسف بەرەو خوار بردرا بۆ میسر. لەوێ پیاوێکی میسری بە ناوی پۆتی‌فەر کە کاربەدەستی فیرعەون و سەرۆکی پاسەوانەکانی بوو، لە ئیسماعیلییەکانی کڕی کە هێنابوویان بۆ میسر.

Ioseph was brought vnto Egipte ad Putiphar a lorde of Pharaos: ad his chefe marshall an Egiptian bought him of ye Ismaelites which brought hi thither

2 یەزدان لەگەڵ یوسف بوو، بۆیە بووە پیاوێکی سەرکەوتوو. ئەو لە ماڵی گەورە میسرییەکەیدا دەژیا.

And the LORde was with Ioseph and he was a luckie felowe and continued in the house of his master the Egiptian.

3 کاتێک گەورەکەی بینی کە یەزدانی لەگەڵدایە و دەست بداتە هەر کارێکیش یەزدان سەرکەوتووی دەکات،

And his master sawe that the ORde was with him and that the LORde made all that he dyd prosper in his hande:

4 یوسف لەبەرچاوی پەسەند بوو و خزمەتی کرد. پۆتی‌فەریش کردی بە گەورە لێپرسراوی ماڵەکەی و هەرچییەکی هەبوو دایە دەست ئەم.

Wherfore he founde grace in his masters syghte and serued him. And his master made him ruelar of his house and put all that he had in his hande.

5 ئیتر لەو کاتەوە کە ئەمی کرد بە گەورە لێپرسراوی ماڵەکەی و هەرچی کە هەیبوو، یەزدان لەبەر یوسف ماڵی ئەو میسرییەی بەرەکەتدار کرد. بەرەکەتەکەی یەزدانیش بۆ هەموو ئەو شتانە بوو کە هی پۆتی‌فەر بوو، چ لەناو ماڵەکەی و چ لە دەشتودەر.

And as soone as he had made him ruelar ouer his house ad ouer all that he had the LORde blessed this Egiptians house for Iosephs sake and the blessynge of the LORde was vpon all that he had: both in the house and also in the feldes.

6 ئیتر هەرچییەکی هەبوو بۆ یوسفی بەجێهێشت، ئاگاداری هیچی خۆشی نەبوو، تەنها ئەو نانە نەبێت کە دەیخوارد. یوسفیش ڕوخسار جوان و بەژن ڕێک بوو.

And therfore he left all that he had in Iosephs hande and loked vpon nothinge that was with him saue only on the bread which he ate. And Ioseph was a goodly persone and a well favored

7 دوای ماوەیەک ژنی گەورەکەی چاوی بڕییە یوسف و پێی گوت: «وەرە سەرجێییم لەگەڵ بکە.»

And it fortuned after this that his masters wife cast hir eyes vpon Ioseph and sayde come lye with me.

8 بەڵام ئەو ڕەتی کردەوە و بە ژنی گەورەکەی گوت: «تەماشا بکە، گەورەم ئاگای لە هیچ شتێکی ماڵەکەی نییە، هەرچییەکیشی هەیە بە منی سپاردووە.

But he denyed and sayde to her: Beholde my master woteth not what he hath in the house with me but hath commytted all that he hath to my hande

9 کەسیش لە ماڵەکەدا لە من گەورەتر نییە. هیچیشی لێ قەدەغە نەکردووم، تەنها تۆ نەبێت، چونکە تۆ ژنی ئەویت. ئیتر چۆن دەبێت بەدکارییەکی ئاوا گەورە بکەم و گوناه بەرامبەر بە خودا بکەم؟»

He him selfe is not greatter in the house than I ad hath kepte nothige fro me but only the because thou art his wife. How than cam I do this great wykydnes for to synne agaynst God?

10 هەرچەندە ڕۆژانە ئەم داوایەی لە یوسف دەکرد، بەڵام ئەو ڕەتی دەکردەوە کە لەگەڵی سەرجێیی بکات یان لەگەڵی بێت.

And after this maner spake she to Ioseph daye by daye: but he harkened not vnto her to slepe nere her or to be in her company.

11 ڕۆژێکیان یوسف بۆ ئەنجامدانی کارەکانی هاتە ناو ماڵەکە، لەکاتێکدا هیچ کام لە خزمەتکاران لە ماڵ نەبوون.

And it fortuned aboute the same season that Ioseph entred in to the house to do his busynes: and there was none of the houshold by in the house.

12 ژنەکە کەواکەی یوسفی گرت و گوتی: «سەرجێییم لەگەڵ بکە!» بەڵام یوسف کەواکەی لە دەستی ئەو بەجێهێشت و هەڵات و چووە دەرەوە.

And she caught him by the garment saynge: come slepe with me. And he left his garment in hir hande ad fled and gott him out

13 کە بینی وا کەواکەی لە دەستی ئەم بەجێهێشت و هەڵاتە دەرەوە،

when she sawe that he had left his garmet in hir hande and was fled out

14 بانگی کەسانی ماڵەکەی کرد و پێی گوتن: «سەیر بکەن، پیاوێکی عیبرانی بۆ هێناوین دەستبازیمان لەگەڵ بکات. بۆم هاتووەتە ژوورەوە هەتا لاقەم بکات، بەڵام من بە دەنگی بەرز قیژاندم.

she called vnto the men of the house and tolde them saynge: Se he hath brought in an Hebrewe vnto vs to do vs shame. for he came in to me for to haue slept myth me. But I cried with a lowde voyce.

15 ئیتر کە گوێی لێبوو دەنگم هەڵبڕی و قیژاندم، کەواکەی لەلام بەجێهێشت و هەڵات و چووە دەرەوە.»

And when he harde that I lyfte vp my voyce and cryed he left his garment with me and fled awaye and got him out.

16 کەواکەی ئەوی لەلای خۆی دانا هەتا گەورەکەی گەڕایەوە ماڵەوە.

And she layed vp his garment by her vntill hir lorde came home.

17 ئیتر هەمان قسەی بۆ ئەویش گێڕایەوە و پێی گوت: «ئەو خزمەتکارە عیبرانییەی کە تۆ بۆت هێناین، بۆم هاتە ژوورەوە بۆ ئەوەی دەستبازیم لەگەڵ بکات.

And she told him acordynge to these wordes saynge. This Hebrues servaunte which thou hast brought vnto vs came in to me to do me shame.

18 بەڵام کە دەنگم هەڵبڕی و قیژاندم، کەواکەی لەلام بەجێهێشت و هەڵاتە دەرەوە.»

But as soone as I lyft vp my voyce and cryed he left his garment with me and fled out.

19 کاتێک گەورەکەی ئەو قسەیەی لە ژنەکەی خۆی بیست کە پێی گوت: «خزمەتکارەکەت ئاوای پێکردم،» تووڕەیی جۆشا.

When his master herde the woordes of his wyfe which she tolde him saynge: after this maner dyd thy servaunte to me he waxed wrooth.

20 ئینجا گەورەکەی یوسفی هێنا و خستییە زیندانەوە، ئەو شوێنەی زیندانییەکانی پاشای لێ بەند کرابوون. ئیتر لەوێ لە زیندان مایەوە.

And he toke Ioseph and put him in pryson: euen in the place where the kinges prisoners laye bounde. And there contynued he in preson.

21 بەڵام یەزدان لەگەڵ یوسف بوو و خۆشەویستییە نەگۆڕەکەی خۆی بەسەردا کێشا و لەبەرچاو کارگێڕی زیندانەکە پەسەندی کرد.

But the LORde was with Ioseph ad shewed him mercie and gott him fauoure in the syghte of the keper of ye preson

22 ئیتر کارگێڕی زیندانەکە هەموو ئەو زیندانییانەی خستە ژێر دەستی یوسف کە لە زیندانەکەدا بوون، کردیشی بە لێپرسراوی هەموو کارەکانی ئەوێ.

which commytted to Iosephe hade all the presoners that were in the preson housse. And what soeuer was done there yt dyd he.

23 کارگێڕی زیندانەکەش سەیری هیچ شتێکی نەدەکرد کە بە دەست یوسف بووایە، چونکە یەزدان لەگەڵ یوسف بوو و هەموو کارەکانیشی سەردەخست.

And the keper of the preso loked vnto nothinge that was vnder his hande because the LORde was with him and because that what soeuer he dyd the LORde made it come luckely to passe.
