پەیدابوون 35

1 ئینجا خودا بە یاقوبی فەرموو: «هەستە و بڕۆ بۆ بێت‌ئێل و لەوێ نیشتەجێ بە. هەر لەوێش قوربانگایەک بۆ خودا دروستبکە، کە بۆت دەرکەوت کاتێک کە لە دەست عیسۆی برات هەڵدەهاتی.»

And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Beth-el, and dwell there; and make there an altar unto the God that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

2 ئیتر یاقوب بە خاووخێزانەکەی و هەموو ئەوانەی لەگەڵی بوون گوت: «هەموو ئەو خوداوەندە بێگانانە لە خۆتان دابماڵن کە پێتانە، ئینجا خۆتان پاک بکەنەوە و جلەکانیشتان بگۆڕن.

Then said Jacob unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and cleanse yourselves, and change your garments.

3 با هەستین و بەرەو بێت‌ئێل سەربکەوین، لەوێ قوربانگایەک بۆ خودا دروستدەکەم کە لە ڕۆژی تەنگانەمدا بە دەنگمەوە هات و لەو ڕێگایەی گرتبوومە بەر لەگەڵم بوو.»

And let us arise, and go up to Beth-el: and I will make there an altar unto the God who answered me on the day of my distress, and was with me on the way which I went.

4 ئەوانیش هەموو ئەو خوداوەندە بێگانانەی کە پێیان بوو لەگەڵ گوارەکانی گوێچکەیان دایانە یاقوب، یاقوبیش لەژێر دار بەڕووەکە کە لەلای شەخەمە لەژێر گڵ شاردییەوە.

And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and the earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was near Shechem.

5 ئینجا بەڕێکەوتن و ترسی خوداش باڵی کێشا بەسەر شارۆچکەکانی دەوروبەریان، ئیتر کەس دوای کوڕانی یاقوب نەکەوت.

And they journeyed; and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

6 یاقوب خۆی و هەموو ئەو خەڵکەی لەگەڵی بوو هاتنە لوز کە بێت‌ئێلە لە خاکی کەنعان.

So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Beth-el, he and all the people that were with him.

7 لەوێ قوربانگایەکی بنیاد نا، شوێنەکەشی ناونا ئێل بێت‌ئێل، چونکە لەو شوێنەدا و لە کاتی هەڵاتنی لەدەست براکەی، خودای بۆ دەرکەوت.

And he built there an altar, and called the place El-beth-el: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

8 دەڤۆرای دایەنی ڕڤقە مرد، لەژێر دار بەڕووەکەی خوار بێت‌ئێل نێژرا. ئەو شوێنەش ناونرا ئەلۆن باکوت.

And Deborah Rebekah's nurse died, and she was buried beneath Beth-el under an oak: and he called its named Allon-bachuth.

9 کاتێک لە پەدان ئارام گەڕایەوە، دیسان خودا بۆ یاقوب دەرکەوت و بەرەکەتداری کرد.

And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came from Padan-aram, and blessed him.

10 خودا پێی فەرموو: «ناوت یاقوبە، بەڵام لە ئێستا بەدواوە بە یاقوب ناو نابرێیت، بەڵکو ناوت دەبێتە ئیسرائیل.» ئیتر ناوی لێنا ئیسرائیل.

And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob; thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

11 ئینجا خودا پێی فەرموو: «من خودای هەرە بەتوانام، بەردار بە و زۆر بە. نەتەوەیەک و کۆمەڵێک نەتەوە لە تۆوە دەبن، پاشایانیش لە پشتی تۆوە دەردەچن.

And God said unto him, I am God the Almighty; be fruitful and multiply; a nation and an assemblage of nations shall spring from thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins.

12 ئەو خاکەش کە دام بە ئیبراهیم و ئیسحاق، هەروەها دەیدەمە تۆ و نەوەکەت لەدوای خۆت.»

And the land which I gave to Abraham and to Isaac, to thee will I give it; and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

13 ئیتر خودا لەو شوێنە بەرزبووەوە کە قسەی لەگەڵ یاقوب کرد.

And God went up from him on the place where he had spoken with him.

14 یاقوبیش ستوونێکی بەردینی لەو شوێنە ڕاگیر کرد کە خودا قسەی لەگەڵ کردبوو، ئینجا شەرابی پێشکەشکراو و زەیتی بەسەردا کرد.

And Jacob set up a pillar at the place where he had spoken with him, a pillar of stone; and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.

15 یاقوب ئەو شوێنەی ناونا بێت‌ئێل کە تێیدا خودا قسەی لەگەڵدا کرد.

And Jacob called the name of the place where God had spoken with him, Beth-el.

16 ئینجا هەموویان لە بێت‌ئێلەوە بەڕێکەوتن. کاتێک ماوەیەکی کەمیان مابوو بگەنە ئەفرات، ڕاحێل کەوتە سەر منداڵبوون، منداڵبوونێکی دژوار.

And they journeyed from Beth-el: and there was yet some distance to come to Ephrath, when Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.

17 لەبەر ئەوەی منداڵبوونەکەی دژوار بوو، مامانەکە پێی گوت: «مەترسە، چونکە ئەم منداڵەشت کوڕە.»

And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; for this child also is a son for thee.

18 ئەوە بوو لەگەڵ دواهەناسەی، لەبەر ئەوەی دەمرد، کوڕەکەی ناونا بەن‌ئۆنی. بەڵام باوکی ناوی لێنا بنیامین.

And it came to pass, as her soul was departing, [for she died] that she called his name Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin.

19 ئیتر ڕاحێل مرد و لە ڕێی ئەفرات نێژرا کە بێت‌لەحمە.

And so Rachel died, and was buried on the way to Ephrath, which is Beth-lechem.

20 یاقوب ستوونێکی لەسەر گۆڕەکەی ڕاگیر کرد، کە هەتا ئەمڕۆش ئەوە ستوونی گۆڕەکەی ڕاحێلە.

And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: this is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.

21 ئیسرائیل بەڕێکەوتەوە و چادرەکەی لە پشت مگدەل عێدەرەوە هەڵدا.

And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of flocks [Eder].

22 کاتێک ئیسرائیل لەو ناوچەیەدا دەژیا، ڕەئوبێن چوو لەگەڵ بیلهەی کەنیزەی باوکی سەرجێیی کرد. ئەمەش بەرگوێی ئیسرائیل کەوتەوە. یاقوب دوازدە کوڕی هەبوو:

And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine; and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve.

23 کوڕەکانی لێئە: ڕەئوبێن، نۆبەرەکەی یاقوب. شیمۆن، لێڤی، یەهودا، یەساخار و زەبولون.

The sons of Leah, Jacob's first-born, Reuben, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun.

24 کوڕەکانی ڕاحێل: یوسف و بنیامین

The sons of Rachel, Joseph, and Benjamin.

25 کوڕەکانی بیلهەی کەنیزەی ڕاحێل: دان و نەفتالی.

And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid, Dan, and Naphtali.

26 کوڕەکانی زیلپەی کەنیزەی لێئە: گاد و ئاشێر. ئەمانە کوڕەکانی یاقوبن، کە لە پەدان ئارام لەدایک بوون.

And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid, Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, that were born to him in Padan-aram.

27 یاقوب هاتە مەمرێ بۆ لای ئیسحاقی باوکی لە نزیک قیریەت ئەربەع، کە حەبرۆنە، ئەو شوێنەی کە ئیبراهیم و ئیسحاق تێیدا ئاوارە بوون.

And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, the city of Arba', which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac had sojourned.

28 ئیسحاق سەد و هەشتا ساڵ ژیا.

And the days of Isaac were one hundred and eighty years.

29 ئینجا دواهەناسەی دا و مرد، بە پیری و تێر لە ژیان خواردوو چووەوە پاڵ گەلەکەی خۆی. عیسۆ و یاقوبی کوڕی ناشتیان.

And Isaac departed this life, and died, and was gathered unto his people, old and full of days; and Esau and Jacob his sons buried him.
