پەیدابوون 26

1 ئینجا جیا لەو قاتوقڕییەی کە یەکەم جار لە سەردەمی ئیبراهیمدا ڕوویدا، قاتوقڕییەکی دیکە لە خاکەکە سەریهەڵدا. ئیسحاقیش چوو بۆ لای ئەبیمەلەخی پاشای فەلەستییەکان لە گرار.

And there was a famine in the lande besides the first famine that was in the dayes of Abraham. Wherefore Izhak went to Abimelech King of the Philistims vnto Gerar.

2 یەزدان بۆ ئیسحاق دەرکەوت و فەرمووی: «مەچووە میسر، بەڵام لەو خاکە نیشتەجێ بە کە خۆم پێت دەڵێم.

For the Lord appeared vnto him, and sayde, Goe not downe into Egypt, but abide in the land which I shall shewe vnto thee.

3 بۆ ماوەیەک لەم خاکە بمێنەوە، خۆم لەگەڵت دەبم و بەرەکەتدارت دەکەم، چونکە هەموو ئەم خاکانە دەدەمە خۆت و نەوەکەت، ئەو سوێندەش دەچەسپێنم کە بۆ ئیبراهیمی باوکتم خواردووە.

Dwell in this lande, and I will be with thee, and will blesse thee: for to thee, and to thy seede I will giue all these countreys: and I will performe the othe which I sware vnto Abraham thy father.

4 نەوەشت زۆر دەکەم، وەک ئەستێرەکانی ئاسمان، هەموو ئەم خاکەشم داوەتە نەوەکەت، لە ڕێگەی نەوەی تۆوە هەموو نەتەوەکانی سەر زەوی بەرەکەتدار دەبن.

Also I wil cause thy seede to multiply as the starres of heauen, and will giue vnto thy seede all these countreys: and in thy seede shall all the nations of the earth be blessed,

5 لەبەر ئەوەی ئیبراهیم گوێڕایەڵی فەرمایشتەکەم بوو، داواکاری و فەرمان و فەرز و فێرکردنی منی بەجێهێنا.»

Because that Abraham obeyed my voyce and kept mine ordinance, my commandements, my statutes, and my Lawes.

6 ئیتر ئیسحاق لە گرار نیشتەجێ بوو.

So Izhak dwelt in Gerar.

7 پیاوانی ئەو شوێنە دەربارەی ژنەکەی پرسیاریان لێکرد، ئەویش گوتی: «ئەو خوشکمە.» ئیسحاق ترسا لەوەی پێیان بڵێت «ژنمە،» چونکە گوتی، «نەوەک پیاوانی شوێنەکە لەبەر ڕڤقە بمکوژن، چونکە جوانە.»

And the men of the place asked him of his wife, and he sayd, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife, least, sayde he, the men of the place shoulde kill me, because of Rebekah: for she was beautifull to the eye.

8 کاتێک ماوەیەکی زۆر لەوێ مایەوە، ئەبیمەلەخی پاشای فەلەستییەکان لە پەنجەرەکەوە سەیری خوارەوەی دەکرد، بینی وا ئیسحاق لەگەڵ ڕڤقەی ژنی خەریکی دەستبازییە.

So after hee had bene there long time, Abimelech King of the Philistims looked out at a windowe, and loe, he sawe Izhak sporting with Rebekah his wife.

9 ئینجا ئەبیمەلەخ بەدوای ئیسحاقدا ناردی و گوتی: «کەواتە ئەو ژنتە! ئەی چۆن گوتت:”ئەو خوشکمە“؟» ئیسحاقیش پێی گوت: «چونکە پێم وابوو کە لەوانەیە بەهۆی ئەوەوە بمرم.»

Then Abimelech called Izhak, and sayde, Loe, shee is of a suertie thy wife, and why saydest thou, She is my sister? To whom Izhak answered, Because I thought this, It may be that I shall dye for her.

10 ئەبیمەلەخیش گوتی: «ئەمە چییە بە ئێمەت کرد؟ لەوانەیە یەکێک لەم پیاوانە لەگەڵ ژنەکەت سەرجێیی بکردبا، ئەو کاتە ئێمەت تووشی تاوان دەکرد.»

Then Abimelech said, Why hast thou done this vnto vs? one of the people had almost lien by thy wife, so shouldest thou haue brought sinne vpon vs.

11 ئیتر ئەبیمەلەخ فەرمانی بە هەموو خەڵکەکە کرد و گوتی: «هەرکەسێک دەست ببات بۆ ئەم پیاوە یان ژنەکەی بێگومان دەکوژرێت.»

Then Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man, or his wife, shall die the death.

12 ئیسحاق لەو زەوییەدا کشتوکاڵی کرد و هەر ئەو ساڵە سەد ئەوەندەی دەست کەوت، چونکە یەزدان بەرەکەتداری کرد.

Afterwarde Izhak sowed in that lande, and founde in the same yeere an hundreth folde by estimation: and so the Lord blessed him.

13 ئیتر ئیسحاق دەوڵەمەند بوو، بەردەوام سامانەکەی زیادی دەکرد، هەتا وای لێهات زۆر دەوڵەمەند بوو.

And the man waxed mightie, and stil increased, till he was exceeding great,

14 ئینجا بەهۆی ئەوەی کە بووە خاوەن مەڕ و مانگا و خزمەتکارێکی زۆریش، فەلەستییەکانیش بەغیلییان پێ برد.

For he had flockes of sheepe, and heards of cattell, and a mightie housholde: therefore the Philistims had enuy at him.

15 هەموو ئەو بیرانەش کە خزمەتکارەکانی باوکی لە سەردەمی ئیبراهیمی باوکی هەڵیانکەندبوو، فەلەستییەکان بە خۆڵ پڕیان کردبووەوە و دایانخستبوو.

In so much that the Philistims stopped and filled vp with earth all the welles, which his fathers seruantes digged in his father Abrahams time.

16 ئینجا ئەبیمەلەخ بە ئیسحاقی گوت: «لەلای ئێمە بڕۆ، چونکە زۆر لە ئێمە بەهێزتر بوویت.»

Then Abimelech sayde vnto Izhak, Get thee from vs, for thou art mightier then wee a great deale.

17 ئیتر ئیسحاق لەوێ ڕۆیشت و لە دۆڵی گرار چادری هەڵدا و لەوێ نیشتەجێ بوو.

Therefore Izhak departed thence and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.

18 ئیسحاق جارێکی دیکە ئەو بیرانەی هەڵدایەوە کە لە سەردەمی ئیبراهیمی باوکی هەڵکەنرابوون و فەلەستییەکان دوای مردنی ئیبراهیم دایانخستبوو، هەر هەمان ناویشی لێنان کە باوکی لێینابوون.

And Izhak returning, digged the welles of water, which they had digged in the dayes of Abraham his father: for the Philistims had stopped them after the death of Abraham, and hee gaue them the same names, which his father gaue them.

19 خزمەتکارەکانی ئیسحاق لە دۆڵەکە کەوتنە هەڵکەندن و کارێزێکی ئاوی سازگاریان لەوێ دۆزییەوە.

Izhaks seruantes then digged in the valley, and found there a well of liuing water.

20 بەڵام شوانەکانی گرار لەگەڵ شوانەکانی ئیسحاق بوو بە ناکۆکییان و گوتیان: «ئاوەکە هی ئێمەیە.» ئیتر بیرەکەی ناونا عێسەق، چونکە لەسەری کردیانە ناکۆکی.

But the herdmen of Gerar did striue with Izhaks herdmen, saying, The water is ours: therefore called he the name of the well Esek, because they were at strife with him.

21 ئینجا بیرێکی دیکەیان هەڵکەند، بەڵام دیسان لەسەر ئەمەش بوو بە ناکۆکییان، لەبەر ئەوە ناوی لەمەش نا سیتنا.

Afterwarde they digged another well, and stroue for that also, and he called the name of it Sitnah.

22 ئیتر لەوێ گواستییەوە و بیرێکی دیکەی هەڵکەند، کە ناکۆک نەبوون لەسەری. بۆیە ناوی لەمە نا ڕەحۆبۆت و گوتی: «ئێستا یەزدان شوێنێکی فراوانی پێ بەخشیوین و لە زەوییەکەدا بە بەروبووم دەبین.»

Then he remoued thence, and digged an other well, for the which they stroue not: therefore called hee the name of it Rehoboth, and sayde, Because the Lord hath nowe made vs roome, we shall increase vpon the earth.

23 ئینجا لەوێوە بۆ بیری شابەع چوو.

So he went vp thence to Beer-sheba.

24 جا لەو شەوەدا یەزدان بۆی دەرکەوت و فەرمووی: «من خودای ئیبراهیمی باوکتم. مەترسە، چونکە لەگەڵتم. لەبەر ئیبراهیمی بەندەم، بەرەکەتدارت دەکەم و نەوەت زۆر دەکەم.»

And the Lord appeared vnto him the same night, and sayde, I am the God of Abraham thy father: feare not, for I am with thee, and wil blesse thee, and will multiplie thy seede for my seruant Abrahams sake.

25 ئیتر ئیسحاق لەوێ قوربانگایەکی بنیاد نا، بە ناوی یەزدانەوە نزای کرد. لەوێ چادرەکەی هەڵدا، خزمەتکارەکانیشی لەوێ بیرێکیان هەڵکەند.

Then he builte an altar there, and called vpon the Name of the Lord, and there spred his tent: where also Izhaks seruauntes digged a well.

26 هەر لەو کاتەدا ئەبیمەلەخ لەگەڵ ئەحوزەتی ڕاوێژکاری و فیکۆلی فەرماندەی گشتی لە گرارەوە هاتنە لای.

Then came Abimelech to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one of his friendes, and Phichol the captaine of his armie.

27 ئیسحاقیش لێی پرسین: «بۆچی هاتوون بۆ لام، لە کاتێکدا ڕقتان لێم بوو و لەلای خۆتان دەرتانکردم؟»

To whom Izhak sayd, Wherefore come ye to me, seeing ye hate mee and haue put mee away from you?

28 ئەوانیش گوتیان: «ئێمە بە تەواوی بینیمان کە یەزدان لەگەڵ تۆ بوو، ئیتر گوتمان:”با لەنێوانمان سوێند هەبێت،“لەنێوان ئێمە و تۆ. با پەیمانت لەگەڵ ببەستین،

Who answered, Wee sawe certainely that the Lord was with thee, and wee thought thus, Let there be nowe an othe betweene vs, euen betweene vs and thee, and let vs make a couenant with thee.

29 کە خراپەمان لەگەڵ نەکەیت، وەک چۆن ئێمە دەستمان بۆت نەبرد و لە چاکە بەولاوە هیچی دیکەمان لەگەڵ نەکردیت و بە سەلامەتی بەڕێمان کردیت. ئێستاش تۆ بەرەکەتداری یەزدانیت.»

If thou shalt do vs no hurt, as we haue not touched thee, and as we haue done vnto thee nothing but good, and sent thee away in peace: thou nowe, the blessed of the Lord, doe this.

30 ئینجا ئیسحاق خوانی بۆ ساز کردن، ئیتر خواردیان و خواردیانەوە.

Then hee made them a feast, and they dyd eate and drinke.

31 بۆ سبەی بەیانی زوو لە خەو هەستان و هەریەکە و سوێندی بۆ ئەوی دیکەیان خوارد. ئینجا ئیسحاق بەڕێی کردن، ئەوانیش بە سەلامەتی لەلای ڕۆیشتن.

And they rose vp betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: then Izhak let them go, and they departed from him in peace.

32 ئەوە بوو هەر لەو ڕۆژەدا خزمەتکارەکانی ئیسحاق هاتن و دەربارەی ئەو بیرەی کە هەڵیانکەندبوو پێیان ڕاگەیاند و گوتیان: «ئاومان دۆزییەوە.»

And that same day Izhaks seruantes came and tolde him of a well, which they had digged, and said vnto him, We haue found water.

33 ئەویش ناوی لێنا شیبعا، لەبەر ئەوەیە هەتا ئەمڕۆش ناوی شارۆچکەکە بیری شابەعە.

So hee called it Shibah: therefore the name of the citie is called Beer-sheba vnto this day.

34 کاتێک عیسۆ تەمەنی بووە چل ساڵ، یەهودیتی کچی بئێریی حیتی و باسمەتی کچی ئێلۆنی حیتی هێنا.

Nowe when Esau was fourtie yeere olde, he tooke to wife Iudith, the daughter of Beeri an Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon an Hittite also.

35 ئەوان ببوونە مایەی خەم و خەفەتی ئیسحاق و ڕڤقە.

And they were a griefe of minde to Izhak and to Rebekah.
