پەیدابوون 17

1 کاتێک ئەبرام تەمەنی نەوەد و نۆ ساڵ بوو، یەزدان بۆ ئەبرام دەرکەوت و پێی فەرموو: «من خودای هەرە بەتوانام. دۆستایەتی من بکە و بێ کەموکوڕی بە.

When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

2 پەیمانی خۆم لەنێوان خۆم و تۆدا دەبەستم و زۆر زۆرت دەکەم.»

And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, and I will multiplie thee exceedingly.

3 ئەبرام خۆی بە زەویدا دا، خوداش پێی فەرموو:

Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,

4 «لەلایەن منەوە، ئەمە پەیمانی منە لەگەڵ تۆ: تۆ دەبیتە باوکی چەندین نەتەوە.

Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,

5 ئیتر لەمەودواش ناوت بە ئەبرام ناهێنرێت، بەڵکو ناوت دەبێتە ئیبراهیم، چونکە من تۆم کردووە بە باوکی چەندین نەتەوە.

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.

6 زۆر زۆریش بەردارت دەکەم و چەندین نەتەوەت لێ دروست دەکەم و پاشایانت لێ دەکەوێتەوە.

Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.

7 پەیمانەکەم کە پەیمانێکی هەتاهەتاییە لەنێوان خۆم و تۆ و نەوەی تۆدا دەچەسپێنم، کە ببمە خودای تۆ و نەوەکانی تۆ.

Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.

8 هەموو خاکی کەنعان، کە ئێستا وەک بێگانەیەک تێیدا نیشتەجێی، بۆ هەتاهەتایە بە موڵکی دەیدەمە تۆ و نەوەکانی تۆ؛ منیش دەبمە خودایان.»

And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.

9 ئینجا خودا بە ئیبراهیمی فەرموو: «تۆش لەلای خۆتەوە دەبێت پەیمانەکەم بەجێبهێنیت، خۆت و نەوە لە دوای نەوەشت.

Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.

10 ئەمەش پەیمانەکەمە کە بەجێی دەهێنن لەنێوان من و ئێوە و نەوەی دوای خۆت: هەموو نێرینەیەکتان خەتەنە دەکەن.

This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:

11 خۆتان خەتەنە دەکەن، کە دەبێتە نیشانەی پەیمانەکەی نێوان من و ئێوە.

That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.

12 هەموو نێرینەیەکی هەشت ڕۆژەش لە ئێوە دەبێت خەتەنە بکرێت، لە نەوەکانتان، ئەوەی لە ماڵەکەت لەدایک بووە، یان ئەوەی بە زیو لە بیانی کڕاوە و نەوەی خۆت نییە.

And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.

13 دەبێت ئەوەی لە ماڵەکەت لەدایک بووە یان بە زیو کڕاوە بە تەواوی خەتەنە بکرێت، جا پەیمانەکەم لە ئێوەدا پەیمانێکی هەتاهەتایی دەبێت.

He that is borne in thine house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.

14 هەر نێرینەیەکی خەتەنە نەکراویش، کە خەتەنە نەکرابێت، ئەوە لە نەتەوەکەی دادەبڕێت، چونکە پەیمانی منی شکاندووە.»

But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.

15 هەروەها خودا بە ئیبراهیمی فەرموو: «سارایی ژنیشت، ئیتر بە سارای ناوی مەهێنە، بەڵکو ناوی دەبێتە سارا.

Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.

16 بەرەکەتداری دەکەم و لەوەوە کوڕێکت پێ دەبەخشم. بەرەکەتداری دەکەم و چەندین نەتەوە و چەندین پاشای نەتەوەکان لەوەوە دەبن.»

And I will blesse her, and will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.

17 ئیبراهیم بەسەر ڕوویدا کەوت و پێکەنی، لە دڵی خۆیدا گوتی: «ئایا پیاوێکی سەد ساڵە منداڵی دەبێت؟ ئایا سارا لە تەمەنی نەوەد ساڵیدا منداڵی دەبێت؟»

Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?

18 ئیبراهیم بە خودای گوت: «خۆزگە ئیسماعیل لەژێر سایەی بەرەکەتی تۆدا ژیانی بەسەر دەبرد.»

And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.

19 خوداش فەرمووی: «بەڵێ، بەڵام لە سارای ژنت کوڕێکت دەبێت، ناوی دەنێیت ئیسحاق. پەیمانی خۆمی لەگەڵدا دەچەسپێنم، پەیمانێکی هەتاهەتایی بۆ نەوەکەی دوای خۆی.

Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.

20 بۆ ئیسماعیلیش، گوێم لێت بوو، بێگومان بەرەکەتداری دەکەم، بەرداری دەکەم و زۆر زۆری دەکەم. دەبێتە باوکی دوازدە سەرۆک، دەیکەمە نەتەوەیەکی مەزن.

And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.

21 بەڵام پەیمانەکەم لەگەڵ ئیسحاقدا دەچەسپێنم، کە ساڵێکی دیکە ئەم کاتە سارا بۆ تۆی دەبێت.»

But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.

22 کاتێک خودا لە قسەکانی بووەوە لەگەڵ ئیبراهیم، لەلای ڕۆیشت و بەرزبووەوە.

And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.

23 لە هەمان ڕۆژدا ئیبراهیم، ئیسماعیلی کوڕی و هەموو ئەوانەی لە ماڵەکەیدا لەدایک ببوون یان بە زیوی خۆی کڕابوون، هەموو نێرینەکانی ماڵەکەی خۆی هێنا و خەتەنەی کردن، وەک چۆن خودا پێی فەرموو بوو.

Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.

24 ئیبراهیم تەمەنی نەوەد و نۆ ساڵ بوو کاتێک خەتەنە کرا،

Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

25 ئیسماعیلی کوڕیشی تەمەنی سێزدە ساڵ بوو کاتێک خەتەنە کرا.

And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.

26 لە هەمان ڕۆژدا ئیبراهیم و ئیسماعیلی کوڕی خەتەنە کران.

The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:

27 هەموو پیاوەکانی ماڵەکەی، ئەوانەی لە ماڵەکەی لەدایک ببوون و ئەوانەی لە بیانی بە زیو کڕدرابوون لەگەڵ ئەودا خەتەنە کران.

And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
