عەزرا 10

1 کە عەزرا نوێژی دەکرد و دانی پێدا دەنا و بە گریانەوە لەبەردەم ماڵی خودا کەوتبوو، کۆمەڵێکی ئێجگار زۆر لە ئیسرائیل، لە پیاو و ئافرەت و منداڵ لێی کۆبوونەوە، چونکە گەل گریانێکی بەکوڵ دەگریان.

Now, when Ezra had prayed and when he had made confession, weeping and casting himself down, before the house of God, there gathered unto him out of Israel, an exceeding large convocation—men and women and children, for the people wept with a very bitter weeping.

2 ئینجا شەخەنەیای کوڕی یەحیێل لە نەوەی ئیلام وەڵامی دایەوە و بە عەزرای گوت: «ئێمە ناپاکیمان لەگەڵ خودامان کرد، ژنی بێگانەمان لە گەلانی خاکەکەوە هێنا. بەڵام لەمەودوا ئیسرائیل هیوای هەیە:

Then responded Shecaniah son of Jehiel of the sons of Elam, and said unto Ezra, We, have been faithful with our God, and have married foreign women from among the peoples of the land, —yet, now, there is hope for Israel concerning this thing.

3 با ئێستا پەیمانێک لەگەڵ خوداماندا ببەستین، کە هەموو ژنەکان و ئەوانەی لەوان لەدایک بوونە دەریانبکەین، بەپێی ڕاوێژی گەورەم و ئەوانەی لە فەرمانەکانی خودامان دەترسن، با بەپێی تەورات کار بکرێت.

Now, therefore, let us solemnize a covenant unto our God—to put away all the women and such as have been born of them, in the counsel of my lord, and them who tremble at the commandment of our God, —and, according to the law, let it be done.

4 هەستە! ئەم کارە لەسەر تۆیە و ئێمەش لەگەڵتداین. ئازابە و دەستبەکاربە!»

Arise, for, upon thee, resteth the thing, but, we, are with thee, —be strong, and act.

5 ئیتر عەزرا هەستا و کاهینە باڵاکان و لێڤی و هەموو ئیسرائیلی سوێند دا کە کار بەم پێشنیارە بکەن، ئەوانیش سوێندیان خوارد.

Then arose Ezra and made the rulers of the priests, the Levites, and all Israel, swear to do according to this word—and they sware.

6 پاشان عەزرا لەبەردەم ماڵی خودا هەستا و چووە ژوورەکەی یەهۆحانانی کوڕی ئەلیاشیڤ. بەرەو ئەوێ چوو، بێ ئەوەی نان بخوات و ئاو بخواتەوە، چونکە بەهۆی ناپاکی ڕاپێچکراوەکانەوە شینی دەگێڕا.

Then arose Ezra from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jehohanan son of Eliashib, —and, when he came thither, bread, did he not eat, and, water, did he not drink, for he was mourning over the unfaithfulness of them of the Exile.

7 ئینجا لە یەهودا و ئۆرشەلیم بانگەوازیان کرد بۆ هەموو ئەوانەی لە ڕاپێچکراوی گەڕابوونەوە تاوەکو لە ئۆرشەلیم کۆببنەوە،

Then made they a proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem, unto all the Sons of the Exile, to gather themselves together unto Jerusalem;

8 بەپێی ڕاوێژی کاربەدەستەکان و پیران، هەرکەسێک لە ماوەی سێ ڕۆژدا ئامادە نەبێت، دەست بەسەر ماڵەکەیدا دەگیرێت و خۆشی لە کۆمەڵی ڕاپێچکراوەکان جیا دەکرێتەوە.

and, whosoever should not come within three days, according to the counsel of the rulers and the elders, all his goods should be devoted, —and, himself, be separated from the convocation of them of the Exile.

9 لە ماوەی سێ ڕۆژەکە هەموو پیاوانی یەهودا و بنیامین لە ئۆرشەلیم کۆبوونەوە، واتە لە بیستی مانگی نۆ، لە ئۆرشەلیم کۆبوونەوە و هەموو گەل بە ترسەوە لەناو گۆڕەپانەکەی ماڵی خودا دانیشتن، لەبەر بابەتەکە و لەبەر بارانەکە.

Then were gathered together all the men of Judah and Benjamin unto Jerusalem, within three days, the same, was the ninth month, on the twentieth of the month, —and all the people remained in the broadway of the house of God, trembling concerning the thing, and because of the heavy rains.

10 ئینجا عەزرای کاهین هەستا و پێی گوتن: «ئێوە ناپاکیتان کرد، ژنی بێگانەتان هێنا بۆ ئەوەی تاوانی زیاتر بخەنە سەر خراپەی ئیسرائیل.

Then arose Ezra the priest, and said unto them, Ye, have acted unfaithfully, and have married foreign women, —to add unto the guilt of Israel.

11 ئێستا لەبەردەم یەزدانی پەروەردگاری باوباپیرانتان دانی پێدا بنێن و ئەوە بکەن کە پێی خۆشە، خۆتان لە گەلانی خاکەکە و لە ژنە بێگانەکان داببڕن.»

Now, therefore, make confession unto Yahweh God of your fathers, and do his pleasure, —and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the foreign women.

12 هەموو کۆمەڵەکە بە دەنگێکی بەرز وەڵامیان دایەوە: «چۆنت پێ گوتین، ئاوا دەکەین.

Then responded all the convocation and said, with a loud voice, —Thus, according to thy word concerning us, must it be done.

13 بەڵام گەلەکە زۆرن و کاتەکەش کاتی بارانە و توانای ئەوەمان نییە لە دەرەوە ڕابوەستین، کارەکەش کاری یەک دوو ڕۆژ نییە، چونکە لەم بارەیەوە یاخیبوونی زۆرمان کردووە.

Nevertheless, the people, are many, and, the season, is that of the heavy rains, and we are not able to stand outside, —and, the business, is not one for a single day, nor yet for two, for we have abundantly transgressed, in this thing.

14 تکایە با کاربەدەستەکانمان لە جێی هەموو کۆمەڵەکە ڕاوەستن و هەموو ئەوانەی لە شارۆچکەکانمان ژنی بێگانەیان هێناوە، با لە کاتی دیاریکراودا لەگەڵ پیران و دادوەرانی شارەکەی خۆیان بێن، هەر شارە و بە تەنها، هەتا گڕی تووڕەیی خودامان کە بەهۆی ئەم کارەوەیە لێمان دامرکێتەوە.»

Let, we beseech thee, our rulers take up their station for all the convocation, and, all who, throughout our cities, have married foreign women, let them come in at times appointed, and, with them, the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the glow of the anger of our God be turned from us, concerning this matter.

15 تەنها یۆناتانی کوڕی عەساهێل و یەحزەیای کوڕی تیقڤا لە دژی ئەمە ڕاوەستان، مەشولام و شەبەتەی کە هەردووکیان لێڤی بوون پشتگیرییان کردن.

Only Jonathan son of Asahel and Jahzeiah son of Tikvah, made a stand against this, —and, Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite, helped them.

16 ئینجا ئەوانەی لە ڕاپێچکراوی گەڕانەوە ئاوایان کرد، عەزرای کاهین و ئەو پیاوانەی گەورەی بنەماڵەکان بوون جیا بوونەوە، بەپێی بنەماڵەکانیان و هەموویان بە ناوی خۆیان، لە یەکەم ڕۆژی مانگی دە بۆ لێکۆڵینەوە لە بابەتەکە دانیشتن.

But the Sons of the Exile, did thus, and Ezra the priest separated to himself certain men—ancestral heads by their ancestral houses, and all of them by name, —and they took their seats on the first day of the tenth month to search into the matter;

17 لە یەکەم ڕۆژی مانگی یەک لە بابەتی هەموو ئەو پیاوانە بوونەوە کە ژنی بێگانەیان هێنابوو.

and they made an end with all the men who had married foreign women, —by the first day of the first month.

18 لەنێو کاهینەکان چەند کەسێکیان بینییەوە کە ژنی بێگانەیان هێنابوو: لە نەوەی یەشوعی کوڕی یۆچاداق و براکانی: مەعسێیاهو، ئەلیعەزەر، یاریڤ و گەدەلیاهو.

Now there were found, of the sons of the priests, who had married foreign women, —of the sons of Jeshua son of Jozadak, and his brethren, Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah;

19 بەڵێنیان دا کە ژنە بێگانەکانیان دەربکەن و لەبەر تاوانەکەیان بەرانێکی مێگەلیان پێشکەش کرد.

and they gave their hand, that they would put away their wives, —and, being guilty, [they offered] a ram of the flock for their guilt.

20 لە نەوەی ئیمێر: حەنانی و زەڤەدیا.

And, of the sons of Immer, Hanani, and Zebadiah.

21 لە نەوەی حاریم: مەعسێیاهو، ئەلیاس، شەمەعیا، یەحیێل و عوزیا.

And, of the sons of Harim, Maaseiah and Elijah and Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Uzziah.

22 لە نەوەی پەشحور: ئەلیۆعێنەی، مەعسێیاهو، ئیسماعیل، نەتەنێل، یۆزاڤاد و ئەلعاسا.

And, of the sons of Passhur, Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethanel, Jozabad, and Elasar.

23 لە لێڤییەکان: یۆزاڤاد، شیمعی، قێلایا کە قەلیتایە، پەتەحیا، یەهودا و ئەلیعەزەر.

And, of the Levites, Jozabad and Shimei, and Kelaiah, the same, is Kelita, Pethahiah, Judah, and Eliezer.

24 لە گۆرانیبێژەکان: ئەلیاشیڤ. لە دەرگاوانەکان: شەلوم، تەلەم و ئوری.

And, of the singers, Eliashib. And, of the doorkeepers, Shallum and Telem and Uri.

25 لەنێو ئیسرائیلییەکانی دیکەش: لە نەوەی پەرعۆش: ڕەمیا، یەزییا، مەلکیا، میامین، ئەلعازار، مەلکیا و بەنایا.

And, of Israel, of the sons of Parosh, Ramiah and Izziah and Malchijah and Mijamin and Eleazar, and Malchijah, and Benaiah.

26 لە نەوەی ئیلام: مەتەنیا، زەکەریا، یەحیێل، عەبدی، یەرێمۆت و ئەلیاس.

And, of the sons of Elam, Mattaniah, Zechariah, and Jehiel and Abdi, and Jeremoth, and Elijah.

27 لە نەوەی زەتو: ئەلیۆعێنەی، ئەلیاشیڤ، مەتەنیا، یەرێمۆت، زاڤاد و عەزیزا.

And, of the sons of Zattu, Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah and Jeremoth, and Zabad, and Aziza.

28 لە نەوەی بێڤەی: یەهۆحانان، حەنەنیا، زەبەی و عەتلای.

And, of the sons of Bebai, Jehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, Athlai.

29 لە نەوەی بانی: مەشولام، مەلوخ، عەدایا، یاشوڤ، شەئال و یەرێمۆت.

And, of the sons of Bani, Meshullam, Malluch, and Adaiah, Jashub, and Sheal, Jeremoth.

30 لە نەوەی پەحەت‌مۆئاب: عەدنا، کەلال، بەنایا، مەعسێیاهو، مەتەنیا، بەسەلئێل، بەنوی و مەنەشە.

And, of the sons of Pahath-moab, Adna and Chelal, —Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezalel, and Binnui, and Manasseh.

31 لە نەوەی حاریم: ئەلیعەزەر، یەشییا، مەلکیا، شەمەعیا، شیمەعۆن،

And, [of] the sons of Harim, Eliezer, Isshijah, Malchijah, Shemaiah, Shimeon;

32 بنیامین، مەلوخ و شەمەریاهو.

Benjamin, Malluch, Shemariah.

33 لە نەوەی حاشوم: مەتەنەی، مەتەتا، زاڤاد، ئەلیفەلەت، یەرێمەی، مەنەشە و شیمعی.

Of the sons of Hashum, Mattenai, Mattattah, Zabad, Eliphelet, —Jeremai, Manasseh, Shimei.

34 لە نەوەی بانی: مەعەدەی، عەمرام، ئوئێل،

Of the sons of Bani, Maadai, Amram, and Uel;

35 بەنایا، بێدەیا، کەلووهی،

Benaiah, Bedeiah, Cheluhu;

36 ڤەنیا، مەرێمۆت، ئەلیاشیڤ،

Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib;

37 مەتەنیا، مەتەنەی و یەعەسۆ.

Mettaniah, Mattenai, and Jaasu;

38 لە نەوەی بەنوی: شیمعی،

and Bani, and Binnui, Shimei;

39 شەلەمیاهو، ناتان، عەدایا،

and Shelemiah, and Nathan, and Adaiah;

40 مەخنەدەڤەی، شاشەی، شارای،

Machnadebai, Shashai, Sharai;

41 عەزەرئێل، شەلەمیاهو، شەمەریاهو،

Azarel, and Shelemiah, Shemariah;

42 شەلوم، ئەمەریا و یوسف.

Shallum, Amariah, Joseph.

43 لە نەوەی نەبۆ: یەعیێل، مەتیسیا، زاڤاد، زەڤینا، یەدەی، یۆئێل و بەنایا.

Of the sons of Nebo, Jeiel, Mattithiah, Zabad, Zebina, —Iddo, and Joel, Benaiah.

44 هەموو ئەوانە ژنی بێگانەیان هێنابوو، هەروەها هەندێک لە ژنەکان منداڵیان ببوو.

All these, had taken foreign women, —and had begotten of them children.
