حزقیێل 35

1 فەرمایشتی یەزدانم بۆ هات، پێی فەرمووم:

And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 «ئەی کوڕی مرۆڤ، ڕووت لە کێوی سێعیر بکە و پێشبینی لەسەر بکە و

Son of man, set thy face against the mountain of Se'ir, and prophecy against it,

3 پێی بڵێ:”یەزدانی باڵادەست ئەمە دەفەرموێت: ئەی کێوی سێعیر، من لە دژی تۆم و دەستم درێژ دەکەم بۆ سەرت، چۆڵ و وێرانت دەکەم.

And say unto it, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against thee, O mountain of Se'ir, and I will stretch out my hand over thee, and I will render thee desolate and wasted.

4 شارۆچکەکانت کاول دەکەم، تۆش چۆڵ دەبیت، ئیتر تۆ دەزانیت کە من یەزدانم.

Thy cities will I lay in ruins, and thou thyself shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.

5 «”لەبەر ئەوەی لەمێژە دوژمنایەتیت لە دڵە و لە کاتی تەنگانەی ئیسرائیلییەکان کە سزادانیان گەیشتبووە لووتکە، بە ناپاکی ئەوانت دایە دەست شمشێر،

Because thou hast had an undying hatred, and didst surrender the children of Israel to the power of the sword, at the time of their calamity, at the time of the iniquity of the end:

6 لەبەر ئەوە یەزدانی باڵادەست دەفەرموێت: بە گیانی خۆم، من ئامادەت دەکەم خوێنت بڕژێت، خوێنڕشتن ڕاوت دەنێت، چونکە ڕقت لە خوێنڕشتن نەبوو، لەبەر ئەوە خوێنڕشتن ڕاوت دەنێت.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, I will surely let thy blood flow, and blood shall pursue thee; since thou didst not hate blood-shedding, so shall blood pursue thee.

7 کێوی سێعیر دەکەم بە وێرانە و چۆڵەوانی، هاتوچۆی تێدا ڕیشەکێش دەکەم.

Thus will I change the mountain of Se'ir into a desolate land and a waste, and I will cut off from it him that travelleth forward and backward.

8 چیاکانت لە کوژراو پڕ دەکەم، گرد و دۆڵ و هەموو شیوەکانت کوژراوی بە شمشێر تێیدا دەکەون.

And I will fill his mountains with his slain: as regardeth thy hills, and thy valleys, and all thy ravines, in them shall fall those that are slain by the sword.

9 دەتکەمە وێرانەی هەتاهەتایی و شارۆچکەکانت ئاوەدان نابن، ئیتر ئێوە دەزانن کە من یەزدانم.

Into perpetual desolations will I change thee, and thy cities shall not be restored: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

10 «”لەبەر ئەوەی گوتت،’ئەم دوو نەتەوەیە و ئەم دوو خاکە بۆ من دەبن و ئێمە داگیریان دەکەین، ئەگەر یەزدانیش لەوێ بێت،‘

Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall indeed be mine, and we will take possession thereof; whereas the Lord was there:

11 یەزدانی باڵادەست دەفەرموێت: لەبەر ئەوە بە گیانی خۆم، لەسەر تووڕەیی و بەغیلییەکەت سزات دەدەم، ڕەفتارت لەگەڵ دەکەم هەروەک چۆن تۆ بە قینەوە ڕەفتارت لەگەڵ ئەواندا کرد، خۆمیان پێ دەناسێنم کاتێک حوکمت دەدەم.

Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thy anger, and according to thy envy which thou didst use out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I judge thee.

12 جا دەزانیت کە من یەزدانم و گوێم لە هەموو قسە سووکەکانت بوو، کە لە دژی چیاکانی ئیسرائیل کردت، کە گوتت:’وێران کران و پێمان دران ببن بە خۆراکمان.‘

And thou shalt know that I am the Lord: I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given unto us to consume them.

13 بە دەمتان خۆتان بەسەر مندا گەورە کرد و قسەی زۆرتان لە دژی من کرد، من گوێم لێبوو.

And ye boasted greatly against me with your mouth, and have multiplied against me your words: I have indeed heard them.

14 یەزدانی باڵادەست ئەمە دەفەرموێت: کاتێک هەموو زەوی دڵخۆشە، من وێرانت دەکەم.

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

15 وەک چۆن تۆ دڵخۆش بوویت بە میراتەکەی بنەماڵەی ئیسرائیل چونکە بوو بە وێرانە، بە هەمان شێوەت پێ دەکەم. ئەی کێوی سێعیر، وێران دەبیت، تۆ و سەراپا هەموو ئەدۆم، ئیتر ئەوان دەزانن کە من یەزدانم.“»

As thou didst rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was made desolate: so will I do unto thee; desolate shalt thou be, O mountain of Se'ir, and all Idumea—altogether; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
