1 پاش ئەم ڕووداوانە، ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشا هامانی کوڕی هەمەداسای ئەگاگی گەورە کرد و بەرزی کردەوە، پایەیەکی بەرزتری لە پایەی هەموو سەرکردەکانی دیکە پێ بەخشی کە لەگەڵین.

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.

2 هەموو کاربەدەستەکانی پاشا کە لەلای دەروازەی پاشاوەن بەپێی فەرمانی پاشا سەریان بۆ هامان دادەنەواند و کڕنۆشیان بۆ دەبرد، بەڵام مۆردەخای سەری بۆ دانەدەنەواند و کڕنۆشی بۆ نەدەبرد.

All the king’s servants who were in the king’s gate bowed down and paid homage to Haman, for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai did not bow down or pay him homage.

3 لەبەر ئەوە خزمەتکارەکانی پاشا ئەوانەی لە دەروازەکەی پاشادا بوون بە مۆردەخایان گوت: «بۆچی سەرپێچی فەرمانی پاشا دەکەیت؟»

Then the king’s servants who were in the king’s gate said to Mordecai, “Why do you disobey the king’s commandment?”

4 ڕۆژ لەدوای ڕۆژ قسەیان لەگەڵ دەکرد، بەڵام ئەو هەر گوێی لێ نەدەگرتن. لەبەر ئەوە بە هامانیان گوت بۆ ئەوەی بزانن ئەو قسەیەی مۆردەخای خۆی ڕادەگرێت، چونکە پێی ڕاگەیاندبوون کە ئەو جولەکەیە.

Now it came to pass, when they spoke daily to him, and he did not listen to them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s reason would stand; for he had told them that he was a Jew.

5 جا کە هامان بینی مۆردەخای سەری بۆ دانانەوێنێت و کڕنۆشی بۆ نابات، زۆر تووڕە بوو.

When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow down nor pay him homage, Haman was full of wrath.

6 بە تەنها کوشتنی مۆردەخای بەلاوە کەم بوو، چونکە زانی مۆردەخای لە چ نەتەوەیەکە. هامان بەدوای ئەوە دەگەڕا هەموو نەتەوەکەی مۆردەخای، بە واتە هەموو جولەکەکان، کە لە شانشینی ئەحەشوێرۆش بوون لەناویان ببات.

But he scorned the thought of laying hands on Mordecai alone, for they had made known to him Mordecai’s people. Therefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even Mordecai’s people.

7 لە مانگی یەک کە مانگی نیسانە، لە ساڵی دوازدەیەمینی ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشا، لەبەردەم هامان تیروپشکیان دەکرد کە پێی دەگوترا پور‏، بۆ هەڵبژاردنی ڕۆژ و مانگێک. تیروپشک کەوتە سەر مانگی دوازدە، واتە مانگی ئادار.

In the first month, which is the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, and chose the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.

8 ئینجا هامان بە ئەحەشوێرۆش پاشای گوت: «نەتەوەیەک هەیە لەنێو هەموو نەتەوەکانی هەرێمەکانی پاشایەتییەکە پەرتەوازەن و بە جیاواز دەژین. نەریتەکانیان لەگەڵ نەریتی هەموو نەتەوەکان جیاوازترە و یاساکانی پاشا جێبەجێ ناکەن. بۆ پاشا باش نییە لێیان بگەڕێت بە ئاسوودەیی دانیشن.

Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom, and their laws are different from other people’s. They do not keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not for the king’s profit to allow them to remain.

9 ئەگەر پاشا پێی باشە با فەرمانێک بۆ لەناوبردنیان دەربکرێت، منیش دە هەزار تالنت زیو دەدەمە دەست خەزنەدارانی پاشا بۆ گەنجینەی شاهانە.»

If it pleases the king, let it be written that they be destroyed; and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who are in charge of the king’s business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.”

10 ئینجا پاشا ئەو ئەنگوستیلەیەی لە دەستی خۆی داکەند کە مۆری شاهانەی پێوە بوو، دایە هامانی کوڕی هەمەداسای ئەگاگی دوژمنی جولەکەکان.

The king took his ring from his hand, and gave it to Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy.

11 پاشا بە هامانی گوت: «زیوەکە بۆ خۆت بێت، چیشت پێ باشە ئاوا لە نەتەوەکە بکە.»

The king said to Haman, “The silver is given to you, the people also, to do with them as it seems good to you.”

12 لە سێزدەی مانگی یەک خامەی نهێنییەکانی پاشا بانگ کران، هەموو ئەوەی هامان فەرمانی پێیدان نووسرایەوە بۆ میرەکانی پاشا و پارێزگارەکانی هەرێمە جیاوازەکان و سەرکردەکانی نەتەوە جیاکان، هەر هەرێمە و بە ڕێنووسی خۆی و هەر نەتەوەیە و بە زمانی خۆی. نامەکانیش بە ناوی ئەحەشوێرۆش پاشاوە نووسراون و بە ئەنگوستیلەکەی ئەویش مۆر کران.

Then the king’s scribes were called in on the first month, on the thirteenth day of the month; and all that Haman commanded was written to the king’s local governors, and to the governors who were over every province, and to the princes of every people, to every province according to its writing, and to every people in their language. It was written in the name of King Ahasuerus, and it was sealed with the king’s ring.

13 بە دەستی پەیامبەرەکانیشدا نامەکان بۆ هەموو هەرێمەکانی پاشا نێردران و تێیاندا فەرمانی دابوو کە لە یەک ڕۆژ، لە سێزدەی مانگی دوازدە، واتە لە مانگی ئادار هەموو جولەکەکان بە گەنج و پیر و ژن و منداڵەوە قڕ بکرێن و بکوژرێن و لەناو ببردرێن، کەلوپەلەکانیشیان بە تاڵان ببردرێن.

Letters were sent by couriers into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to plunder their possessions.

14 وێنەی نووسراوەکەش وەک فەرمانێک درایە هەموو هەرێمەکان و لەناو هەموو نەتەوەکان بڵاوکرایەوە بۆ ئەوەی خۆیان بۆ ئەم ڕۆژە ئامادە بکەن.

A copy of the letter, that the decree should be given out in every province, was published to all the peoples, that they should be ready against that day.

15 هەروەک پاشا فەرمانی کرد پەیامبەرەکان بە پەلە ڕۆیشتن، هەروەها ئەو فەرمانە لە قەڵای شوشیش درا. پاشا و هامان بۆ خواردنەوە دانیشتن، بەڵام شاری شوش شڵەژا.

The couriers went out in haste by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given out in the citadel of Susa. The king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city of Susa was perplexed.
