| ئەم ڕووداوانە لە سەردەمی پاشایەتی ئەحەشوێرۆش بوو، ئەو ئەحەشوێرۆشەی کە لە هیندستانەوە هەتا کوش فەرمانڕەوایەتی سەد و بیست و حەوت هەرێمی دەکرد. | 1 |
Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus who reigned, from India even to Cush, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces: )
| لەو کاتەدا ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشا لەسەر تەختی پاشایەتییەکەی دادەنیشت کە لە قەڵای شوش بوو. | 2 |
That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the palace,
| لە ساڵی سێیەمی پاشایەتییەکەی، خوانێکی سازکرد بۆ هەموو سەرکردە و کاربەدەستەکانی. سەرکردەکانی سوپای فارس و ماد و میر و فەرمانڕەوای هەرێمەکان تێیدا ئامادە بوون. | 3 |
In the third year of his reign, he made a feast to all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:
| ماوەی سەد و هەشتا ڕۆژ پاشا دەوڵەمەندیی و بێ هاوتایی پاشایەتییەکەی و شکۆ و مەزنیی خۆی نیشان دا. | 4 |
When he showed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and eighty days.
| پاش تێپەڕینی ئەو ماوەیە، پاشا بۆ ماوەی حەوت ڕۆژ خوانێکی بۆ هەموو چین و توێژێکی خەڵک سازکرد، ئەوانەی لە قەڵای شوش دەژیان، لە باخچەی داخراوی کۆشکی پاشا. | 5 |
And when these days had ended, the king made a feast for all the people that were present in Shushan the palace, both for great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace;
| گۆڕەپانەکە بە پەردەی سپی و مۆری کەتان ڕازێنرابووەوە، بە گوریسی کەتانی سپی و گوریسی قوماشی ئەرخەوانی لەناو بازنەی زیو هەڵواسرابوو، لەسەر کۆڵەکەی مەڕمەڕ. سەکۆیەکان لە زێڕ و زیو دروستکرابوون، زەوییەکە بە بەردی حەلان و مەڕمەڕ و دوڕ و بەردی گرانبەها شۆستەی بۆ دروستکرابوو. | 6 |
Where were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the couches were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and white, and black, marble.
| خواردنەوەش بە جامی زێڕینی جۆراوجۆر پێشکەش دەکرا، شەرابی شاهانەش بەقەد بەخشندەیی پاشا زۆر بوو. | 7 |
And they gave them drink in vessels of gold, (the vessels differing one from another, ) and royal wine in abundance, according to the bounty of the king.
| پاشا فەرمانی بە لێپرسراوانی کۆشک کرد کەس گلەیی لە خواردنەوە نەبێت، هەرکەسە بەگوێرەی ویستی خۆی بێت. | 8 |
And the drinking was according to the law; none constrained: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man’s pleasure.
| هەروەها ڤەشتیی شاژنیش لە کۆشکی شاهانەی ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشا خوانێکی بۆ ئافرەتان سازکرد. | 9 |
Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus.
| لە ڕۆژی حەوتەم کاتێک ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشا بە شەراب مەست بوو، فەرمانی کرد بەو حەوت کاربەدەستەی کە خزمەتیان دەکرد، واتە مێهومان و بیزتا و حەرڤۆنا و بیگتا و ئەڤەگتا و زێتەر و کەرکەس، | 10 |
On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
| کە ڤەشتیی شاژن بە تاجی شاهانەکەوە بهێنن بۆ بەردەم پاشا، بۆ ئەوەی جوانییەکەی پیشانی گەل و سەرکردەکان بدرێت، چونکە ڕوخساری جوان بوو. | 11 |
To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to show the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.
| بەڵام کاتێک کاربەدەستەکان فەرمانەکەی پاشایان پێ ڕاگەیاند، ڤەشتیی شاژن ڕازی نەبوو بێت. لەبەر ئەوە پاشا زۆر ڕقی هەستا و لە تووڕەیی خۆیدا گڕی گرت. | 12 |
But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very angry, and his anger burned in him.
| نەریتی پاشا وا بوو ڕاوێژ بە شارەزایانی یاسا و دادوەری بکات. ئیتر پاشا پرسی بەو دانایانە کرد کە شارەزای ڕۆژگارن، | 13 |
Then the king said to the wise men, who knew the times, (for so was the king’s manner toward all that knew law and judgment:
| ئەوانەی لێی نزیک بوون ئەمانە بوون: کەرشەنا، شیتار، ئەدماتا، تەرشیش، مەرەس، مەرسەنا، مەموخان، کە حەوت سەرکردەی فارس و مادی بوون و هەمیشە چاویان بە پاشا دەکەوت، بەرزترین پلە و پایەیان هەبوو لە پاشایەتییەکەدا. | 14 |
And the next to him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, who saw the king’s face, and who sat in the first place in the kingdom; )
| پاشا پرسیاری کرد: «بەپێی یاسا چی لە شاژنە ڤەشتی بکرێت؟ لەبەر ئەوەی گوێڕایەڵی ئەو فەرمانەی ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشای نەبوو کە کاربەدەستەکان پێیان ڕاگەیاند.» | 15 |
What shall we do to the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
| مەموخان لەبەردەم پاشا و سەرکردەکان گوتی: «شاژنە ڤەشتی بە تەنها هەڵەی دەرهەق بە پاشا نەکردووە، بەڵکو دەرهەق بە هەموو سەرکردەکان و هەموو ئەو گەلانەی کە لە هەرێمەکانی ئەحەشوێرۆش پاشادان، | 16 |
And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.
| چونکە هەواڵی شاژن بە هەموو ژنەکان دەگاتەوە و بەو شێوەیە بێزیان لە مێردەکانیان دەبێتەوە، دەگوترێت:”ئەحەشوێرۆشی پاشا فەرمانی دا شاژنە ڤەشتی بهێننە بەردەمی، کەچی ئەو نەهاتووە.“ | 17 |
For this deed of the queen shall become known to all women, so that they shall look with contempt upon their husbands, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
| هەروەها هەر ئەمڕۆ خانمەکانی فارس و مادی کە هەواڵی شاژنیان پێ گەیشتووەتەوە هەمان شت بە هەموو سەرکردەکانی پاشا دەڵێن، بەمەش بێزلێبوونەوە و تووڕەیی بڵاو دەبێتەوە. | 18 |
Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day to all the king’s princes, who have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
| «لەبەر ئەوە ئەگەر پاشا پێی خۆشە، با بڕیارێکی شاهانە لەلای خۆیەوە دەربکات و بڕیارەکە لە یاساکانی فارس و مادی بنووسرێت بۆ ئەوەی دەستکاری نەکرێت، بەوەی کە نابێت چیتر ڤەشتی بێتە بەردەم ئەحەشوێرۆش پاشا. پاشاش پلەی شاژنیێتی بە یەکێکی چاکتر لەو بدات. | 19 |
If it pleaseth the king, let a royal commandment go from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate to another that is better than she.
| بەو شێوەیە فەرمانەکەی پاشا لەناو هەموو شانشینە مەزنەکە ڕادەگەیەنرێت، هەموو ژنانیش بە ڕێزەوە هەڵسوکەوت لەگەڵ مێردەکانیان دەکەن، لە گەورەیانەوە هەتا بچووکیان.» | 20 |
And when the king’s decree which he shall make shall be proclaimed throughout all his empire, (for it is great, ) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
| پاشا و سەرکردەکان ئەو قسەیەیان پێ باش بوو، پاشا بەپێی قسەکەی مەموخانی کرد. | 21 |
And the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:
| نامەی بۆ هەموو هەرێمەکان و هەموو گەلەکانی پاشایەتییەکەی نارد، هەریەکە و بە زمان و ڕێنووسی خۆیان و ڕایگەیاند کە دەبێت هەموو پیاوێک گەورەی ماڵەکەی خۆی بێت و بە زمانی نەتەوەکەی خۆی ئەم بڕیارە ڕابگەیەنێت. | 22 |
For he sent letters into all the king’s provinces, into every province according to the writing of it, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be proclaimed in the language of every people.
