ئەفەسۆس 2

1 ئێوەش بەهۆی خراپە و گوناهەکانتانەوە مردبوون

and you also [[he raised up]], who were dead through your trespasses and sins,

2 کە پێشتر تێیدا دەژیان کاتێک پەیڕەوی ڕێبازی ئەم جیهانە و سەرۆکی دەسەڵاتی هەواتان دەکرد، ئەو ڕۆحەی ئێستا لە یاخیبوواندا کار دەکات. (aiōn g165)

in which ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience; (aiōn g165)

3 ئێمەش هەموو لەوان بووین، لە هەوەسەکانی سروشتی دنیاییماندا دەژیاین، بە خواستەکانی ئەم سروشتە و بیرەکانیمان دەکرد، وەکو خەڵکی دیکە بە سروشت شایانی تووڕەیی خودا بووین.

among whom even we all had our way of life in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as others;

4 بەڵام خودا کە دەوڵەمەندە لە بەزەیی، لەبەر ئەو خۆشەویستییە مەزنەی بۆ ئێمەی دەربڕیوە،

but God, who is rich in mercy, on account of his great love wherewith he loved us, gave to us,

5 ئێمە کە بەهۆی گوناهەکان مردبووین، لەگەڵ مەسیح زیندووی کردینەوە. بە نیعمەت ڕزگارتان بووە.

even when dead through our trespasses, life with Christ, —by grace have ye been saved, —

6 خودا ئێمەی لەگەڵ عیسای مەسیحدا هەستاندەوە و بەهۆی ‏یەکبوون لەگەڵ ئەودا لە شوێنەکانی ‏ئاسمان دایناین،

and raised us up with him, and caused us to sit with him in the heavenly regions in Christ Jesus,

7 تاکو لە دنیای داهاتوو دەوڵەمەندی نیعمەتی بێ هاوتای خۆی لە ڕێگەی میهرەبانییەکەیەوە بۆ ئێمە دەربخات کە لەگەڵ عیسای مەسیحدا یەکین. (aiōn g165)

that he might show in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)

8 لەبەر ئەوەی بە نیعمەت ڕزگارتان بوو لە ڕێگەی باوەڕەوە، ئەمەش لە خۆتانەوە نییە، بەڵکو دیاری خودایە،

For by grace ye have been saved, through faith; and this is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;

9 بە کردار نییە، تاکو کەس شانازی نەکات.

not of works, lest any one should boast.

10 ئێمە دروستکراوی دەستی خوداین و بە یەکبوونمان لەگەڵ عیسای مەسیح دەبینە بەدیهێنراوێک بۆ کاری چاکە، کە خودا پێشتر ئامادەی کردووە تاکو بە ئەنجامی بگەیەنین.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.

11 بۆیە وەبیرتان بێتەوە، ئێوە بە جولەکەیی لەدایک نەبوون، پێتان دەگوترا «خەتەنە نەکراو» لەلایەن ئەوانەی پێیان دەگوترا «خەتەنەکراو»، ئەوەی لە جەستەدا بە دەست کراوە،

Wherefore remember, that in time past ye, the gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcised by those who are called circumcised, having the circumcision of the flesh, performed by hand, —

12 ئەو کاتە بێ مەسیح بوون، لە هاوڵاتییەتی ئیسرائیل بێگانە بوون و لە پەیمانەکانی بەڵێن نامۆ بوون، لە جیهاندا بێ هیوا و بێ خودا بوون.

that ye were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God, in the world;

13 بەڵام ئێوە ئێستا لەگەڵ عیسای مەسیحدا یەکن، هەرچەندە پێشتر دوور بوون، بە خوێنی مەسیح نزیک بوونەوە.

but now, in Christ Jesus, ye, who formerly were afar off, have been brought nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 لەبەر ئەوەی مەسیح ئاشتی ئێمەیە، جولەکە و ناجولەکەی کرد بە‏ یەک‏، دیواری ناوبڕی دوژمنایەتی ڕووخاند،

For it is he who is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition between us, that is, the enmity;

15 بە جەستەی خۆی شەریعەتی تەوراتی بە فەرمان و فەرزەکانییەوە بەلاوە نا، بە ئامانجی ئەوەی بە یەکبوونیان لەگەڵ خۆی لە هەردووکیان مرۆڤێکی نوێ دروستبکات و بەم شێوەیە ئاشتی بچەسپێنێت،

having abolished in his flesh the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create of the two one new man in himself, thus making peace,

16 تاکو هەردووکیان لە یەک لەشدا لەگەڵ خودا ئاشت بکاتەوە بە خاچ، بەوەش دوژمنایەتیی لەناوبرد.

and might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, having slain on it the enmity.

17 مەسیح هات و مژدەی ئاشتیی بە ئێوە دا کە دوورن هەروەها ئەوانەش کە نزیکن،

And he came and brought the glad tidings of peace to you who were afar off, and of peace to those that were near;

18 چونکە لە ڕێگەی ئەوەوە هەردوو لامان لە یەک ڕۆحدا ڕێپێدراویێتیمان هەیە بۆ چوونە لای باوک.

for through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

19 بۆیە ئیتر نامۆ و بێگانە نین، بەڵکو دەبنە هاوڵاتی لەگەڵ گەلی پیرۆزی خودا و بنەماڵەی خودا،

So then ye are no longer strangers and foreigners, but are fellow-citizens with the saints, and members of the household of God,

20 لەسەر بناغەی نێردراوان و پێغەمبەران بنیاد نراون، عیسای مەسیحیش خۆی گرنگترین بەردی بناغەیە.

and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner-stone;

21 هەموو خانووەکە بە یەکبوون لەگەڵ مەسیحدا پێکەوە بەستراوە و گەشە دەکات هەتا ببێتە پەرستگایەکی پیرۆز بۆ مەسیح.

in whom all the building, fitly framed together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord;

22 ئێوەش بە یەکبوون لەگەڵ ئەودا پێکەوە بنیادنراون، تاکو ببنە خانووێک بۆ ڕۆحی خودا.

in whom ye also are built together into a dwelling-place of God in the Spirit.
