1 هەر شتێک وەرزی خۆی هەیە، هەر چالاکییەک لەسەر زەوی کاتی خۆی هەیە:

To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:

2 لەدایکبوون کاتی خۆی هەیە و مردنیش کاتی خۆی، چاندن کاتی خۆی هەیە و هەڵکێشانی چێنراویش کاتی خۆی،

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 کوشتن کاتی خۆی هەیە و چاکبوونەوەش کاتی خۆی، ڕووخاندن کاتی خۆی هەیە و بنیادنانیش کاتی خۆی،

a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build,

4 گریان کاتی خۆی هەیە و پێکەنینیش کاتی خۆی، شیوەن گێڕان کاتی خۆی هەیە و سەماکردن کاتی خۆی،

a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 بەرد بڵاوکردنەوە کاتی خۆی هەیە و بەرد کۆکردنەوە کاتی خۆی، لەئامێزگرتن کاتی خۆی هەیە و لەئامێزنەگرتنیش کاتی خۆی،

a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

6 کۆڵدان کاتی خۆی هەیە و کۆڵنەدان کاتی خۆی، پارێزگاریکردن کاتی خۆی هەیە و فڕێدان کاتی خۆی،

a time to search and a time to count as lost, a time to keep and a time to discard,

7 دڕاندن کاتی خۆی هەیە و دوورینەوە کاتی خۆی، بێدەنگی کاتی خۆی هەیە و قسەکردن کاتی خۆی،

a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 خۆشویستن کاتی خۆی هەیە و ڕق کاتی خۆی، جەنگ کاتی خۆی هەیە و ئاشتی کاتی خۆی.

a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

9 کرێکار چی بۆ دەمێنێتەوە لەوەی خۆی پێوە ماندوو دەکات؟

What does the worker gain from his toil?

10 ئەو بارەم بینی کە خودا داویەتی بە ئادەمیزاد هەتا هەڵیبگرن.

I have seen the burden that God has laid upon the sons of men to occupy them.

11 خودا هەموو شتێکی دروستکرد کە لە کاتی خۆیدا جوان بێت، هەروەها وای کرد مرۆڤ هەستی ژیانی هەتاهەتایی هەبێت؛ لەگەڵ ئەوەشدا کەس ناتوانێت لە بنجوبنەوانی کاری خودا تێبگات، لە سەرەتاوە هەتا کۆتایی.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they cannot fathom the work that God has done from beginning to end.

12 جا زانیم کە لەوە باشتر نییە بۆ مرۆڤ کە پێی دڵخۆش بێت و چاکە بکات لە ژیانیدا.

I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and do good while they live,

13 هەروەها کە هەموو مرۆڤێک بخوات و بخواتەوە و چێژ لە هەموو ماندووبوونەکەی ببینێت، ئەوە دیاری خودایە.

and also that every man should eat and drink and find satisfaction in all his labor—this is the gift of God.

14 زانیم کە هەموو ئەوەی خودا ئەنجامی دەدات بۆ هەتاهەتایە، هیچی بۆ زیاد ناکرێت و هیچیشی کەم ناکرێتەوە. خودا کردوویەتی بۆ ئەوەی خەڵک لێی بترسن.

I know that everything God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God does it so that they should fear Him.

15 ئەوەی هەیە پێشتر هەبووە، ئەوەش کە دەبێت پێشتر بووە، خوداش لێپرسینەوە لەسەر ڕابردوو دەکات.

What exists has already been, and what will be has already been, for God will call to account what has passed.

16 هەروەها لەسەر زەوی بینیم: خراپەکاری لە جێی دادپەروەری، بەدکاریش لە جێگای ڕاستودروستی.

Furthermore, I saw under the sun that in the place of judgment there is wickedness, and in the place of righteousness there is wickedness.

17 جا لە دڵی خۆمدا گوتم: «کەسی ڕاستودروست و خراپەکاریش خودا دادگایی هەردووکیان دەکات، چونکە بۆ هەر چالاکییەک کاتی خۆی دەبێت، بۆ بڕیاردانیش لەسەر هەر کارێک کاتی خۆی.»

I said in my heart, “God will judge the righteous and the wicked, since there is a time for every activity and every deed.”

18 من لە دڵی خۆمدا گوتم: «سەبارەت بە ئادەمیزاد، خودا تاقییان دەکاتەوە بۆ ئەوەی تێیانبگەیەنێت کە ئاژەڵ چۆنە ئەوانیش بەو شێوەیەن.

I said to myself, “As for the sons of men, God tests them so that they may see for themselves that they are but beasts.”

19 بێگومان چارەنووسی مرۆڤ هەروەک چارەنووسی ئاژەڵە، چونکە مردنی ئەمیان وەک مردنی ئەویانە و یەک هەناسە بۆ هەردووکیانە، مرۆڤ هیچی لە ئاژەڵ زیاتر نییە. بێگومان هەرچی هەیە بێ واتایە.

For the fates of both men and beasts are the same: As one dies, so dies the other—they all have the same breath. Man has no advantage over the animals, since everything is futile.

20 هەموو بۆ یەک شوێن دەڕۆن: هەردووکیان لە خۆڵەوە هاتن و دەشگەڕێنەوە بۆ خۆڵ.

All go to one place; all come from dust, and all return to dust.

21 کێ دەزانێت: ئایا ڕۆحی ئادەمیزاد بەرەو سەرەوە هەڵدەکشێت یان ڕۆحی ئاژەڵ بەرەو خوارەوە بۆ زەوی دادەبەزێت؟»

Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and the spirit of the animal descends into the earth?

22 ئیتر بینیم لەوە باشتر نییە کە مرۆڤ بە کارەکەی دڵخۆش بێت، لەبەر ئەوەی ئەمە بەشی ئەوە، چونکە کێ دەیبینێت بۆ ئەوەی بیگێڕێتەوە کە لەدوای ئەو چی دەبێت؟

I have seen that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will come after him?
