کردار 18

1 لەدوای ئەمە پۆڵس ئەسینای بەجێهێشت و هاتە کۆرنسۆس.

After these things, Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth.

2 لەوێ جولەکەیەکی دۆزییەوە بە ناوی ئەکیلا، خەڵکی پۆنتۆس بوو، تازە لەگەڵ پریسکیلای ژنی لە ئیتالیاوە هاتبوون، چونکە کلودیۆس فەرمانی دابوو هەموو جولەکە ڕۆما بەجێبهێڵن. پۆڵس ئیتر چووە لایان

And having found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, and Priscilla his wife, (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome, ) he came to them;

3 و بەهۆی هاوپیشەییان لەلایان مایەوە و ئیشی دەکرد، چونکە پیشەیان چادر دروستکردن بوو.

and because he was of the same trade, he abode with them, and worked; for they were tent-makers by trade.

4 پۆڵس هەموو شەممەیەک لە کەنیشت گفتوگۆی دەکرد و هەوڵی دەدا قەناعەت بە جولەکە و یۆنانییەکان بهێنێت.

And he discoursed in the synagogue every sabbath, and endeavored to persuade both Jews and Greeks.

5 کاتێک سیلا و تیمۆساوس لە مەکدۆنیاوە هاتن، پۆڵس خۆی بۆ خزمەتی پەیامی مەسیح تەرخان کرد و لەنێو جولەکەکاندا شایەتی دەدا کە عیسا مەسیحەکەیە.

And when both Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was wholly engaged in the word, testifying to the Jews, that Jesus was the Christ.

6 بەڵام کاتێک دژایەتییان کرد و جنێویان پێدا، کراسەکەی تەکاند و پێی گوتن: «خوێنی خۆتان لەسەر خۆتان! من بێتاوانم. لە ئێستاوە دەچمە لای ناجولەکەکان.»

And when they set themselves against him, and reviled, he shook his garments, and said to them, Your blood be upon your own heads! I am clean; from this time I will go to the gentiles.

7 ئیتر پۆڵس کەنیشتەکەی بەجێهێشت و چووە ماڵی پیاوێکی خواپەرست بە ناوی تیتیۆس یوستۆس، کە ماڵەکەی لەتەنیشت کەنیشتەوە بوو.

And he departed thence, and went to the house of a certain man, named Justus, a worshipper of God, whose house was very near the synagogue.

8 کریسپۆسی پێشەوای کەنیشتەکە خۆی و خاووخێزانی باوەڕیان بە عیسای خاوەن شکۆ هێنا. هەروەها زۆر لە خەڵکی کۆرنسۆس کە گوێیان لە پۆڵس بوو باوەڕیان هێنا و لە ئاو هەڵکێشران.

And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians upon hearing believed, and were baptized.

9 شەوێک مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆ لە بینینێکدا بە پۆڵسی فەرموو: «مەترسە، بەڵکو قسە بکە و بێدەنگ مەبە،

And the Lord said to Paul through a vision in the night, Be not afraid, but speak on, and be not silent;

10 چونکە من لەگەڵتدام، کەس هێرش ناکاتە سەرت بۆ ئەوەی ئازارت بدات، چونکە خەڵکێکی زۆرم هەیە لەم شارە.»

for I am with thee, and no one shall lay hands on thee, to hurt thee; for I have much people in this city.

11 ئیتر پۆڵس ساڵێک و شەش مانگ لەگەڵیان مایەوە و پەیامی خودای فێر دەکردن.

And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

12 لەو سەردەمەی گالیۆن فەرمانڕەوای ئەخایا بوو، جولەکە هەموویان پێکەوە هێرشیان کردە سەر پۆڵس و بردیان بۆ دادگا،

And when Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews rose up with one accord against Paul, and brought him before the judgment-seat,

13 گوتیان: «ئەم پیاوە قەناعەتی بە خەڵک دەهێنا کە بە پێچەوانەی تەورات خودا بپەرستن.»

saying, This man persuadeth people to worship God contrary to the law.

14 کە پۆڵس خەریک بوو دەمی بکاتەوە، گالیۆن بە جولەکەکانی گوت: «جولەکەکان، ئەگەر بابەتەکە ناڕەوایی یان تاوانێکی خراپ بووایە، وەک هۆیەک گوێم لە سکاڵاتان دەگرت.

And as Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, If it were some act of injustice or wicked misdeed, O Jews, with reason I should bear with you;

15 بەڵام ئەگەر بابەتەکە لەسەر وشە و ناو و تەوراتتانە، خۆتان تەماشای بکەن. نامەوێت لەم بابەتانەدا ببمە دادوەر.»

but if it be questions of doctrine, and names, and your law, look to it yourselves; I will not be a judge of these matters.

16 ئیتر لە دادگا دەریکردن.

And he drove them from the judgment-seat.

17 ئیتر هەموو خەڵک سۆستانیسی پێشەوای کەنیشتیان گرت و لەبەردەم دادگا لێیاندا، گالیۆنیش گوێی بەمە نەدا.

But they all laid hold of Sosthenes, the ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment-seat; and Gallio cared for none of these things.

18 پۆڵس ڕۆژانێکی زۆر مایەوە، ئینجا ماڵئاوایی لە برایان کرد و لەگەڵ پریسکیلا و ئەکیلا بە دەریادا بەرەو سوریا ڕۆیشت. پاشان لە کەنخریا سەری تاشی، چونکە نەزری لەسەر بوو.

And Paul, having stayed many days longer, took leave of the brethren, and sailed thence to Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila, after he had shaved his head in Cenchreae, for he had a vow.

19 کاتێک گەیشتنە ئەفەسۆس، پۆڵس پریسکیلا و ئەکیلای لەوێ بەجێهێشت و خۆی چووە کەنیشت و لەگەڵ جولەکەکان دەستی بە گفتوگۆ کرد.

And they came to Ephesus, and he left them there; but he himself entered the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.

20 ئەوانیش داوایان لێکرد ماوەیەکی زیاتر لایان بمێنێتەوە، بەڵام ڕازی نەبوو.

And when they asked him to stay longer, he consented not;

21 ئیتر ماڵئاوایی لێکردن و گوتی: «خودا حەز بکات دەگەڕێمەوە بۆ لاتان.» ئینجا لە ئەفەسۆسەوە بە دەریادا ڕۆیشت.

but having taken leave of them, saying, I will return to you, if God will, he set sail from Ephesus.

22 لە بەندەری قەیسەرییە دابەزی، بەرەو ئۆرشەلیم سەرکەوت و سڵاوی لە کڵێسا کرد، ئینجا بەرەو خوار چوو بۆ ئەنتاکیا.

And having landed at Caesarea and gone up and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.

23 پۆڵس ماوەیەک لە ئەنتاکیا مایەوە و پاشان ڕۆیشت و لە ناوچەکانی گەلاتیا و فریجیا شوێن بە شوێن دەگەڕا، ورەی هەموو قوتابییەکانی بەرز دەکردەوە.

And after he had spent some time there, he departed, going through the Galatian country and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

24 جولەکەیەکی خەڵکی ئەسکەندەریە بە ناوی ئەپۆلۆس هات بۆ ئەفەسۆس، زمان پاراو و لە نووسراوە پیرۆزەکان شارەزا بوو.

And a certain Jew, named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus.

25 فێری ڕێگای مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆ کرابوو، بە دڵگەرمی دەدوا و بە دروستی خەڵکی فێری پەیامی عیسا دەکرد، هەرچەندە تەنها لەئاوهەڵکێشانەکەی یەحیای دەزانی.

This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught correctly the things concerning Jesus, knowing only the baptism of John.

26 بە چاونەترسییەوە دەستی کرد بە قسەکردن لە کەنیشت. کە پریسکیلا و ئەکیلا گوێیان لێی بوو، بانگهێشتی ماڵی خۆیان کرد و دروستتر ڕێگای خودایان بۆ ڕوونکردەوە.

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. But Aquila and Priscilla having heard him, took him to them, and set forth to him the way [[of the Lord]] more fully.

27 کاتێک ئەپۆلۆس حەزی کرد بچێت بۆ ناوچەی ئەخایا، برایان هانیان دا و بۆ قوتابییەکانیان نووسی پێشوازیی لێ بکەن. کاتێک هاتە ئەوێ، یارمەتییەکی زۆری ئەوانەی دا کە بەهۆی نیعمەتی خوداوە باوەڕیان هێنابوو،

And when he wished to go over into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to give him welcome; and when he was come, he gave much aid to those who had believed through grace.

28 چونکە بە هێزەوە و بە گفتوگۆی ئاشکرا جولەکە بەرهەڵستکارەکانی بێدەنگ دەکرد، لە ڕێگەی نووسراوە پیرۆزەکانەوە دەیسەلماند کە عیسا مەسیحەکەیە.

For he publicly confuted the Jews, with power, showing by the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
