سێیەم یۆحەنا 1

1 لە پیرەکەوە، بۆ گایۆسی خۆشەویست کە لە ڕاستیدا خۆشم دەوێت.

The senior unto the beloved gayus, whom I love in the trueth.

2 ئەی خۆشەویست، نوێژ دەکەم کە لە هەموو شتێکدا سەرکەوتوو بیت و تەندروستیت باش بێت، هەروەک دەروونت سەرکەوتووە.

Wel-beloved I wisshe in all thynges thatt thou prosperedest and faredest well, even as thy soule prospereth.

3 زۆر دڵخۆش بووم بەوەی چەند برایەک هاتن و شایەتی دڵسۆزی تۆیان بۆ ڕاستی دا، هەروەک بەگوێرەی ڕاستی دەڕۆیت.

I reioysed greatly when the brethren cam and testified off the trueth that is in the, howe thou in troth walkest.

4 خۆشی لەمە گەورەترم نییە کە گوێم لێ بێت منداڵانم بەگوێرەی ڕاستی دەڕۆن.

I have no gretter ioye then forto heare howe that my sonnes walke in veritie.

5 خۆشەویست، تۆ بە دڵسۆزییەوە هەموو شتێک بۆ خوشکان و برایان دەکەیت، بە تایبەتی بۆ نامۆکان.

Derely beloved thou doest faythfully whatt soever thou doest to the brethren, and to straungers,

6 ئەوان لەبەردەم کڵێسا شایەتییان لەسەر خۆشەویستیی تۆ داوە. کارێکی باش دەکەیت کە بەو شێوەیەی لەلای خودا شایستەیە بەڕێیان بکەیت،

which bare witnes of thy love before all the congregacion. Which brethren when thou bryngest forwardes on their iorney (as it besemet God) thou shalt do wele:

7 چونکە ئەوانە لەبەر ناوی مەسیح هاتوونەتە دەرەوە و هیچ شتێکیان لە بێباوەڕان وەرنەگرتووە.

because that for his names sake they went forth, and toke nothynge of the gentyls.

8 بۆیە پێویستە پێشوازی لە کەسانی وەک ئەوانە بکەین تاکو بەیەکەوە کار بۆ ڕاستی بکەین.

We therfore ought to receave soche, that we also myght be helpers to the trueth.

9 بۆ کڵێسام نووسیوە، بەڵام دیۆتریفس کە دەیەوێت لەنێوانیاندا ببێتە یەکەم، پێشوازیمان لێ ناکات.

I wrote unto the congregacion: but Diotrephes which loveth to have the preeminence amonge them, receaveth us not,

10 بۆیە ئەگەر هاتم، کردەوەکانی و ئەو غەیبەتانەی کە سەبارەت بە ئێمەی گوتووە دەیخەمەوە یادی. هەروەها بەوەشەوە نەوەستاوە، بەڵکو نایەوێت پێشوازی لە خوشکان و برایان بکات و هەر یەکێک بییەوێت پێشوازییان لێ بکات، ڕێی لێ دەگرێت و لە کڵێسا دەریدەکات.

wherfore yf I come I will declare his dedes which he doeth iestynge on us with malicious wordes, nether is therewith content. Not only he hym silfe receaveth not the brethren: but also he forbiddeth them thatt wolde and thrusteth them out of the congregacion.

11 خۆشەویستم، لاسایی خراپە مەکەوە بەڵکو چاکە. ئەوەی چاکە بکات لە خوداوەیە، ئەوەش خراپە بکات، خودای نەبینیوە.

Derely beloved countersait not that which is evyll but that which is good: He that doeth well is off God: but he that doeth evyll seith not God.

12 دیمیتریۆس لەلایەن هەموو کەسێک و لەلایەن ڕاستیشەوە شایەتی بۆ دراوە. ئێمەش شایەتی دەدەین، ئێوەش دەزانن شایەتی ئێمە ڕاستە.

Demetrius hath good reporte off all men, and of the trueth: Yee and we oure selves also beare recorde, and ye knowe that oure recorde is true.

13 زۆرم هەبوو بۆتی بنووسم، بەڵام نامەوێت بە قەڵەم و مەرەکەب بێت.

I have many thinges to wryte: But I willnot with pen and ynke wryte vnto the.

14 بەڵکو ئومێدەوارم بەم زووانە بتبینم تاکو ڕووبەڕوو قسە بکەین. سڵاوت لێ بێت. برادەران سڵاوت لێدەکەن. بە ناوەکانیان سڵاو لە برادەران بکە.
