دووەم ساموئێل 8

1 ئەوە بوو پاش ئەمە داود فەلەستییەکانی بەزاند و زەلیلی کردن، مەسەگ ئەممای لە فەلەستییەکان سەند.

And it came to pass after this, that David smote the Philistines, and humbled them: and David took Metheg-haammah out of the hand of the Philistines.

2 هەروەها داود مۆئابییەکانیشی بەزاند. ئەوانی لەسەر زەوی پاڵخست و بە گوریس پێوانەی کردن، بە پێوانەی دوو گوریس خەڵکەکەی کوشت و بە پێوانەی گوریسێکیش خەڵکی بە زیندوویی هێشتەوە. ئینجا مۆئابییەکان هاتنە ژێر دەسەڵاتی داود و سەرانەیان بۆ دەهێنا.

And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, laying them down on the ground; and he measured with two lines to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And the Moabites became David's servants, bringing presents.

3 هەروەها داود هەدەدعەزەری کوڕی ڕەحۆڤی پاشای چۆڤای بەزاند، کاتێک چوو بۆ ئەوەی تاشەبەردەکەی یادەوەری لە کەناری ڕووباری فورات نۆژەن بکاتەوە.

David smote also Hadad'ezer, the son of Rechob, the king of Zobah, as he went to extend his territory at the river Euphrates.

4 داود هەزار گالیسکە و حەوت هەزار گالیسکەسوار و بیست هەزار پیادەی بە دیل گرت، ئینجا داود جومگە پێی ئەسپی گالیسکەکانیانی بڕییەوە و تەنها سەد ئەسپی گالیسکەی هێشتەوە.

And David captured from him a thousand and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand men on foot: and David hamstringed all the chariot-teams, but reserved of them a hundred chariot-teams.

5 کاتێک ئارامییەکانی دیمەشق بۆ یارمەتیدانی هەدەدعەزەری پاشای چۆڤا هاتن، داود بیست و دوو هەزار پیاوی لە ئارامییەکان کوشت.

And the Syrians of Damascus then came to aid Hadad'ezer, the king of Zobah, when David slew of the Syrians twenty and two thousand men.

6 ئیتر داود لە شانشینی ئارامییەکانی دیمەشق سەربازگەی دانا، ئارامییەکانیش هاتنە ژێر دەسەڵاتی داود و سەرانەیان بۆ دەهێنا. داودیش ڕووی لە هەرکوێ دەکرد، یەزدان سەرکەوتووی دەکرد.

And David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, bearing presents. And the Lord helped David whithersoever he went.

7 پاشان داود قەڵغانە زێڕینەکانی ئەفسەرەکانی هەدەدعەزەری برد و هێنایە ئۆرشەلیم.

And David took the shields of gold that belonged to the servants of Hadad'ezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

8 هەروەها داودی پاشا بڕۆنزێکی زۆریشی لە تەڤەح و بێرۆتەی برد کە شارۆچکەی هەدەدعەزەر بوون.

And from Betach, and from Berothai, cities of Hadad'ezer, did king David take exceedingly much copper.

9 کاتێک تۆعوی پاشای حەمات بیستی کە داود هەموو سوپاکەی هەدەدعەزەری بەزاندووە،

And when To'i the king of Chamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadad'ezer,

10 یۆرامی کوڕی نارد بۆ لای داودی پاشا بۆ ئەوەی لە سەلامەتی بپرسێت و پیرۆزبایی لێ بکات کە لەگەڵ هەدەدعەزەر جەنگاوە و بەزاندوویەتی، چونکە هەدەدعەزەر لە جەنگدا بوو لە دژی تۆعو. یۆرامیش لەگەڵ دەستی خۆیدا کەلوپەلی زێڕ و زیو و بڕۆنزی هێنابوو.

Then did To'i send Yoram his son unto king David, to ask him after his well-being, and to bless him, because that he had fought against Hadad'ezer, and smitten him; for Hadad'ezer had been engaged in wars with To'i; and he had in his hand vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of copper:

11 داودی پاشا ئەمانەشی بۆ یەزدان تەرخان کرد لەگەڵ ئەو زێڕ و زیوانەی کە دەستی کەوتبوو لە هەموو ئەو نەتەوانەی ژێردەستەی کردبوون:

These also did king David sanctify unto the Lord, with the silver and gold that he had sanctified from all the nations which he subdued;

12 لە ئەدۆم، مۆئاب، عەمۆن، فەلەستی و عەمالێق. هەروەها ئەو دەستکەوتەشی تەرخان کرد کە لە هەدەدعەزەری کوڕی ڕەحۆڤی پاشای چۆڤا دەستی کەوت.

From Syria, and from Moab, and from the children of 'Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from 'Amalek, and from the spoil of Hadad'ezer, the son of Rechob, the king of Zobah.

13 داود پاش گەڕانەوەی لە کوشتنی هەژدە هەزار ئەدۆمی لە دۆڵی خوێ، ناوبانگی بڵاو بووەوە.

And David acquired a name when he returned from his smiting the Syrians in the valley of salt, eighteen thousand men.

14 لە هەموو خاکی ئەدۆم سەربازگەی دانا و هەموو ئەدۆمییەکان هاتنە ژێر دەسەڵاتی داود. داود ڕووی لە هەرکوێ دەکرد، یەزدان سەرکەوتووی دەکرد.

And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the Lord helped David whithersoever he went.

15 داود پاشایەتی هەموو ئیسرائیلی کرد، دادپەروەری و ڕاستودروستی بۆ هەموو گەلەکەی پەیڕەو کرد.

And David reigned over all Israel; and David did what is just and right unto all his people.

16 یۆئابی کوڕی چەرویاش سوپاسالار بوو؛ یەهۆشافاتی کوڕی ئەحیلودیش تۆمارکار بوو؛

And Joab the son of Zeruyah was over the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Achilud was recorder;

17 سادۆقی کوڕی ئەحیتوڤ و ئەحیمەلەخی کوڕی ئەبیاتار کاهین بوون؛ سەرایا خامەی نهێنی بوو؛

And Zadok the son of Achitub, and Achimelech the son of Ebyathar, were priests; and Serayah was scribe;

18 بەنایای کوڕی یەهۆیاداع فەرماندەی کریتی و پەلەتییەکان بوو؛ کوڕەکانی داودیش ڕاوێژکاری پاشا بوون.

And Banayahu the son of Yehoyada' was over both the Kerethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were officers of state.
