دووەم پەترۆس 1

1 لە شیمۆن پەترۆسی بەندە و نێردراوی عیسای مەسیحەوە، بۆ ئەوانەی لە ڕێگەی ڕاستودروستی خودا و عیسای مەسیحی ڕزگارکەرمانەوە باوەڕێکی بەهاداری وەک باوەڕی ئێمەیان دەستکەوتووە.

Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained an equally precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 با لە ڕێگەی ناسینی خودا و عیسای خاوەن شکۆمانەوە، نیعمەت و ئاشتیتان بۆ زیاد بێت.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you by the God and Father of Jesus our Lord.

3 هێزە خوداییەکەی مەسیح هەموو ئەو شتانەی پێ بەخشیوین کە بۆ ژیان و لەخواترسی پێویستە، ئەمەش لە ڕێگەی ئەو ناسینەی کە هەمانە بۆ ئەو خودایەی کە بانگی کردین بۆ شکۆ و چاکییەکەی.

For his power divine has granted to us everything needful for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.

4 خودا بەهۆی هەموو ئەمانەوە بەڵێنە بەهادار و گەورەکانی پێداین، تاکو ئێوە بەهۆی ئەم بەڵێنانەوە بتوانن لەو گەندەڵییەی جیهان دەرباز بن کە لە ئارەزووی خراپدایە و بەشدار بن لە سروشتی خودایی.

By these he has granted his promises to us, precious and splendid; so that through them you may become partners of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5 هەر لەبەر ئەمەش، تێبکۆشن تاکو لە باوەڕتان چاکە بکەوێتەوە، لە چاکەش، زانیاری،

For this very reason do your best to add to your faith manliness, and to manliness knowledge,

6 لە زانیاریش بەسەرخۆدا زاڵبوون، لە بەسەرخۆدا زاڵبوونیش دانبەخۆداگرتن، لە دانبەخۆداگرتنیش لەخواترسی،

and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control stedfastness, and to stedfastness piety,

7 لە لەخواترسیش هەست و سۆزی هاوبەش، لە هەست و سۆزی هاوبەشیش خۆشەویستی،

and to piety brotherly love, and to brotherly love, love itself.

8 چونکە ئەگەر ئەوانەتان تێدابێت و زیاد بکات، واتان لێدەکات بۆ ناسینی عیسای مەسیحی پەروەردگارمان تەمبەڵ و بێ بەرهەم نەبن.

For if these virtues are yours in abounding measure, they render you not idle nor unfruitful, until you come into the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 بەڵام ئەوەی ئەمانەی نەبێت، ئەوا کوێر و کەمبینە، لە یادی چووە کە گوناهە کۆنەکانی پاک بووەتەوە.

For the man who lacks these virtues is blind, short-sighted, forgetful of his cleansing from his old sins.

10 خوشکان، برایان، هەر بۆیە زیاتریش تێبکۆشن بۆ چەسپاندنی هەڵبژاردن و بانگەوازەکەتان، چونکە ئەگەر ئەمانەتان کرد ئەوا هەرگیز ناکەون،

So, brothers, take diligent care to make your calling and election sure; for if you do this, you will never stumble.

11 هەروەها پێشوازییەکی گەرمتان لێ دەکرێت بۆ چوونە ناو شانشینی هەتاهەتایی عیسای مەسیحی پەروەردگار و ڕزگارکەرمان. (aiōnios g166)

For so the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will be richly supplied to you. (aiōnios g166)

12 لەبەر ئەوە بەردەوام دەمەوێ ئەم شتانەتان بەبیر بهێنمەوە، هەرچەندە دەیانزانن و لەو ڕاستییەی ئێستادا چەسپاون.

I shall therefore be always ready to remind you of all this, even though you know it, and are firmly founded in the truth which is with you.

13 باوەڕم وایە هەتا لەم جەستەیەدا بم، ئەرکی خۆمە بەبیرتان بهێنمەوە،

So I think it right, as long as I am in this "tent," to rouse you by way of reminding you,

14 چونکە دەزانم بە زوویی ئەم جیهانە بەجێدەهێڵم، هەروەک چۆن عیسای مەسیحی پەروەردگارمان بۆی دەرخستم.

since I know that the time for me to strike tent comes swiftly on, even as our Lord Jesus Christ pointed out to me.

15 هەروەها تێدەکۆشم تاکو دوای دەرچوونم هەردەم ئەم شتانەتان وەبیربێتەوە.

So I will do my best to enable you, even after my departure, continually to call these things to mind.

16 کاتێک هاتنی عیسای مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆمان و هێزەکەیمان پێ ناساندن، ئێمە بەدوای کۆمەڵە ئەفسانەیەکی زیرەکانەی هەڵبەستراو نەکەوتبووین، بەڵکو شایەتحاڵی پایەبەرزییەتی ئەو بووین.

For we were not following cunningly devised fables, when we told you of the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eye-witnesses of his Majesty.

17 ڕێز و شکۆی لە خودای باوک وەرگرت کاتێک ئەم دەنگەی لە شکۆداری پایەبەرزەوە بۆ هات: «ئەمەیە کوڕی خۆشەویستم، ئەوەی زۆر پێی دڵشادم.»

For he did receive honor and glory from God the Father, when there was borne such a voice to him from the Majestic Glory, This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I delight;

18 ئێمەش گوێمان لەم دەنگە بوو کە لە ئاسمانەوە هات، کاتێک لە شاخی پیرۆز لەگەڵی بووین.

and this voice we ourselves heard, borne to us out of heaven, when we were with him on the holy hill.

19 هەروەها پەیامی پێغەمبەرانمان هەیە کە بە تەواوی پشتی پێ دەبەسترێت، چاک دەکەن کە گرنگی پێ بدەن، هەروەک چۆن گرنگی بەو چرایە دەدەن کە لە شوێنێکی تاریکدا دەدرەوشێتەوە هەتا ئەو کاتەی ڕۆژ دەبێتەوە و ئەستێرەی بەیان لە دڵتاندا هەڵدێت.

And so we possess the word of prophecy made yet more sure. Unto this you do well to give heed as to a lamp shining in a dark place, till the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

20 لە سەرووی هەموو شتێکەوە ئەمە بزانن، کە هیچ پێشبینییەک لە نووسراوە پیرۆزەکاندا بە لێکدانەوەی خودی پێغەمبەرەکە نەنووسراوە،

But first be assured of this - that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.

21 چونکە هەرگیز پێشبینی بە خواستی مرۆڤ نەهاتووە، بەڵکو ڕۆحی پیرۆز ڕابەرایەتی مرۆڤەکانی کردووە، بۆ ئەوەی پەیامی خودا ڕابگەیەنن.

For no prophecy was ever brought by the will of man; but moved by the Holy Spirit, men spoke for God.
