دووەم پاشایان 22

1 یۆشیا کوڕێکی هەشت ساڵان بوو کە بوو بە پاشا، سی و یەک ساڵ لە ئۆرشەلیم پاشایەتی کرد، ناوی دایکی یەدیدای کچی عەدایای خەڵکی بۆچقەت بوو.

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath.

2 یۆشیا ئەوەی ڕاست بوو لەبەرچاوی یەزدان کردی، بە تەواوی ڕێبازەکەی داودی باپیرە گەورەی پەیڕەو کرد، بەلای ڕاست و چەپدا لای نەدا.

And he did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, and walked in all the way of David his father, and did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

3 لە هەژدەیەمین ساڵی پاشایەتییەکەی، پاشا شافانی خامەی نهێنی کوڕی ئەچەلیاهوی کوڕی مەشولامی ناردە پەرستگای یەزدان و گوتی:

And it came to pass, in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan, the son of Azaliah the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of Jehovah, saying,

4 «بڕۆ لای حیلقیای سەرۆکی کاهین، با ئەو زیوە بژمێرێت کە خراوەتە ناو پەرستگای یەزدانەوە، ئەوەی دەرگەوانەکان لەنێو گەل کۆیان کردووەتەوە.

Go up to Hilkiah the high priest that he may sum the money which is brought into the house of Jehovah, which the keepers of the threshold have gathered of the people.

5 با بدرێتە دەست سەرپەرشتیارەکانی کارەکەی پەرستگای یەزدان، ئەوانیش بیدەنە ئەو کرێکارانەی داڕووخاوییەکانی پەرستگای یەزدان چاک دەکەنەوە،

And let them deliver it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of Jehovah. And let them give it to the workmen who are in the house of Jehovah, to repair the broken parts of the house,

6 دارتاش و وەستا و نەقاڕەکان. با دار و بەردی تاشراو بۆ نۆژەنکردنەوەی پەرستگاکە بکڕن.

to the carpenters, and to the builders, and to the masons, and for buying timber and hewn stone to repair the house.

7 بەڵام هیچ لێپێچینەوەیەکیان لەگەڵ نەکرێت سەبارەت بەو زیوەی خرایە دەستیان، چونکە بە دەستپاکییەوە کار دەکەن.»

However there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, for they dealt faithfully.

8 ئینجا حیلقیای سەرۆک کاهین بە شافانی خامەی نهێنی گوت: «لە پەرستگای یەزدان پەڕتووکی تەوراتم دۆزیوەتەوە.» حیلقیا پەڕتووکەکەی دایە شافان و ئەویش خوێندییەوە.

And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of Jehovah. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

9 پاشان شافانی خامەی نهێنی پەڕتووکەکەی بۆ لای پاشا برد و پێی ڕاگەیاند: «کاربەدەستەکانت زیوی ناو پەرستگاکەیان بەتاڵ کرد و دایانە دەست کرێکار و سەرپەرشتیارانی پەرستگای یەزدان.»

And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of Jehovah.

10 هەروەها شافانی خامەی نهێنی بە پاشای ڕاگەیاند و گوتی: «حیلقیای کاهین پەڕتووکێکی دامێ.» ئینجا شافان لەبەردەم پاشا خوێندییەوە.

And Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has delivered to me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

11 کاتێک پاشا گوێی لە وشەکانی پەڕتووکی تەورات بوو، جلەکانی لەبەر خۆی دادڕی.

And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he tore his clothes.

12 ئینجا پاشا فەرمانی بە حیلقیای کاهین و ئەحیقامی کوڕی شافان و عەکبۆری کوڕی میخایو و شافانی خامەی نهێنی و عەسایای خزمەتکاری پاشا کرد و گوتی:

And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Micaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,

13 «بڕۆن و لە جیاتی من و ئەم گەلە و لە جیاتی هەموو یەهودا پرسیار لە یەزدان بکەن، سەبارەت بە پەیامی ئەم پەڕتووکەی کە دۆزراوەتەوە، چونکە ئەو تووڕەییەی یەزدان کە بەسەرماندا گڕی گرتووە مەزنە، لەبەر ئەوەی باوباپیرانمان گوێیان لە وشەکانی ئەم پەڕتووکە نەگرت هەتا هەموو ئەوەی لەسەرمان نووسراوە پەیڕەوی بکەن.»

Go ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found, for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened to the words of this book to do according to all that which is written concerning us.

14 ئینجا حیلقیای کاهین و ئەحیقام و عەکبۆر و شافان و عەسایا چوونە لای حولدای پێغەمبەر کە ژنی شەلومی کوڕی تیقڤای کوڕی حەرحەسی لێپرسراوی جلوبەرگەکانی پەرستگا بوو، ئەو لە گەڕەکی دووەمی ئۆرشەلیم دەژیا، ئیتر قسەیان لەگەڵی کرد.

So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the second quarter), and they conversed with her.

15 حولدایش پێی گوتن: «یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل ئەمە دەفەرموێت: بەو پیاوە بڵێن کە ئێوەی بۆ لای من ناردووە،

And she said to them, Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: Tell ye the man who sent you to me,

16 ”یەزدان ئەمە دەفەرموێت: من وا بەڵا بەسەر ئەم شوێنە و دانیشتووانەکەی دەهێنم، بەپێی هەموو ئەوەی لەو پەڕتووکە نووسراوە کە پاشای یەهودا خوێندییەوە.

Thus says Jehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of it, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read.

17 لەبەر ئەوەی وازیان لێ هێنام و بخووریان بۆ خوداکانی دیکە سووتاند، هەتا بە هەموو کارەکانی دەستیان پەستم بکەن، تووڕەییم بەسەر ئەم شوێنەدا گڕ دەگرێت و ناکوژێتەوە.“

Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the work of their hands, therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and it shall not be quenched.

18 بەڵام بە پاشای یەهودا ئەوەی ئێوەی ناردووە پرسیار لە یەزدان بکەن بڵێن،”یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل سەبارەت بەو وشانەی گوێت لێ بوو ئەوە دەفەرموێت:

But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of Jehovah, thus shall ye say to him, Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: As concerning the words which thou have heard,

19 لەبەر ئەوەی کاتێک گوێت لە پەیامەکەم بوو لە دژی ئێوە کە ئەم شوێنە وێران دەکەم و دانیشتووانەکەی دەبنە مایەی نەفرەت، لەبەردەم یەزدان دڵت نەرم بوو و خۆتت نزم کردەوە، جلەکانت لەبەر خۆتدا دادڕی و لەبەردەمم گریایت، هەروەها منیش گوێم لێت بوو. ئەوە فەرمایشتی یەزدانە.

because thy heart was tender, and thou humbled thyself before Jehovah when thou heard what I spoke against this place, and against the inhabitants of it, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have torn thy clothes, and wept before me, I also have heard thee, says Jehovah.

20 لەبەر ئەوە من وا دەتخەمە پاڵ باوباپیرانت، جا بە ئاشتییەوە لە گۆڕەکەت دەنرێیت. ئەو هەموو کارەساتە بە چاوی خۆت نابینی کە من بەسەر ئەم شوێنەی دەهێنم.“» ئەوانیش وەڵامەکەیان بۆ پاشا بردەوە.

Therefore, behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shall be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.
