دووەم پاشایان 14

1 لە ساڵی دووەمی پاشایەتی یەهۆئاشی کوڕی یەهۆئاحازی پاشای ئیسرائیل، ئەمەسیای کوڕی یۆئاش بوو بە پاشای یەهودا.

In the second year of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel, reigned Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah.

2 کاتێک بوو بە پاشا تەمەنی بیست و پێنج ساڵ بوو، بیست و نۆ ساڵ لە ئۆرشەلیم پاشایەتی کرد. دایکیشی ناوی یەهۆعەدین بوو، خەڵکی ئۆرشەلیم بوو.

He was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and [he] reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

3 ئەوەی لەبەرچاوی یەزدان ڕاست بوو کردی، بەڵام نەک وەکو داودی باپیرە گەورەی، بەڵکو وەک هەموو ئەوەی یۆئاشی باوکی کردی ئەویش کردی.

And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, yet not like David his father: he did according to all things as Joash his father did.

4 لەگەڵ ئەوەش نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزایی تێکنەدران، هێشتا گەل لەسەر بەرزاییەکان قوربانییان سەردەبڕی و بخووریان دەسووتاند.

But, the high places were not taken away: as yet the people sacrificed, and burnt incense on the high places.

5 کاتێک جڵەوی پاشایەتییەکە لە دەستی جێگیر بوو، سزای مردنی بەسەر ئەو کاربەدەستانەدا سەپاند کە پاشای باوکیان کوشتبوو.

And it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, that he slew his servants who had slain the king his father.

6 بەڵام کوڕی بکوژەکانی نەکوشت، بەگوێرەی ئەوەی لە پەڕتووکی تەوراتی موسادا نووسراوە، کە یەزدان فەرمانی داوە و فەرموویەتی: «باوک لە جیاتی کوڕ ناکوژرێت و کوڕ لە جیاتی باوک ناکوژرێت، هەر یەکێک لەسەر گوناهی خۆی دەکوژرێت.»

But the children of the murderers he slew not: according to that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, in which the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

7 ئەوە بوو لە دۆڵی خوێ دە هەزار کەسی لە ئەدۆم کوشت و بە جەنگ سەلەعی گرت و ناوی لێنا یۆقتئێل، هەتا ئەمڕۆش ئەوە ناویەتی.

He slew of Edom in the valley of Salt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel to this day.

8 پاشان ئەمەسیا نێردراوی ناردە لای یەهۆئاشی کوڕی یەهۆئاحازی کوڕی یێهوی پاشای ئیسرائیل و پێی گوت: «وەرە، با ڕووبەڕوو شەڕ بکەین.»

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.

9 یەهۆئاشی پاشای ئیسرائیلیش وەڵامی ئەمەسیای پاشای یەهودای دایەوە و گوتی: «کەرتەشیی لوبنانی ناردی بۆ لای دار ئورزی لوبنانی و گوتی:”کچەکەت بدە بە کوڕەکەم تاکو ببێتە ژنی.“ئینجا ئاژەڵێکی کێوی لە لوبنان بەسەر کەرتەشییەکەدا ڕۆیشت و پانی کردەوە.

And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to the cedar that [was] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son for a wife: and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in Lebanon, and trod down the thistle.

10 تۆ ئەدۆمت شکاند، ئێستا لەخۆبایی بوویت. بەڕێزبە و لە ماڵی خۆت بمێنەوە! بۆچی بەڵا بەسەر خۆتدا دەهێنیت؟ ئینجا دەکەویت، خۆت و یەهوداش لەگەڵت.»

Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thy heart hath lifted thee up: glory [of this], and tarry at home: for why shouldst thou meddle to [thy] hurt, that thou shouldst fall, [even] thou, and Judah with thee?

11 بەڵام ئەمەسیا گوێی نەگرت، لەبەر ئەوە یەهۆئاشی پاشای ئیسرائیل هێرشی برد، لەگەڵ ئەمەسیای پاشای یەهودا لە بێت‌شەمەشی یەهودا ڕووبەڕووی یەکتر بوونەوە.

But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up: and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Beth-shemesh, which [belongeth] to Judah.

12 لە ئەنجامدا یەهودا بەرامبەر بە ئیسرائیل تێکشکان، هەرکەسە و بەرەو ماڵەکەی خۆی هەڵات.

And Judah was defeated before Israel; and they fled every man to their tents.

13 ئەمەسیای پاشای یەهودا، کوڕی یۆئاشی کوڕی ئەحەزیا، لەلایەن یەهۆئاشی پاشای ئیسرائیلەوە لە بێت‌شەمەش بە دیل گیرا. پاشان یەهۆئاش چوو بۆ ئۆرشەلیم و شوورای ئۆرشەلیمی لە دەروازەی ئەفرایمەوە هەتا دەروازەی گۆشەکە وێران کرد، کە چوار سەد باڵ بوو.

And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Beth-shemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.

14 هەموو زێڕ و زیو و قاپوقاچاغەکانی ناو پەرستگای یەزدان و ناو گەنجینەکانی کۆشکی پاشای برد، هەروەها چەندین بارمتەی گرت و گەڕایەوە سامیرە.

And he took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house, and hostages, and returned to Samaria.

15 ڕووداوەکانی دیکەی پاشایەتی یەهۆئاش، ئەوەی کردی و پاڵەوانییەکەی کە نواندی، چۆن لە دژی ئەمەسیای پاشای یەهودا جەنگا، لە پەڕتووکی کاروباری ڕۆژانەی پاشاکانی ئیسرائیل تۆمار کراون.

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might, and how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

16 یەهۆئاش لەگەڵ باوباپیرانی سەری نایەوە و لە سامیرە لەگەڵ پاشاکانی ئیسرائیلدا نێژرا. ئیتر یارۆڤعامی کوڕی لەدوای خۆی بوو بە پاشا.

And Jehoash slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel; and Jeroboam his son reigned in his stead.

17 ئەمەسیای کوڕی یۆئاشی پاشای یەهوداش لەدوای مردنی یەهۆئاشی کوڕی یەهۆئاحازی پاشای ئیسرائیل، پازدە ساڵ ژیا.

And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.

18 ڕووداوەکانی دیکەی پاشایەتی ئەمەسیا لە پەڕتووکی کاروباری ڕۆژانەی پاشاکانی یەهودا تۆمار کراون.

And the rest of the acts of Amaziah, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

19 لە ئۆرشەلیم پیلانیان لە دژی گێڕا و هەڵات بۆ لاخیش، ئینجا چەند پیاوێکیان بەدوایدا ناردە شاری لاخیش و لەوێ کوشتیان.

Now they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem: and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish, and slew him there.

20 بە ئەسپ هێنرایەوە ئۆرشەلیم و لەوێ لە شاری داود لەگەڵ باوباپیرانی نێژرا.

And they brought him on horses: and he was buried at Jerusalem with his fathers in the city of David.

21 پاشان هەموو گەلی یەهودا عەزەریای گەنجی شازدە ساڵانیان برد و لە جێی ئەمەسیای باوکی کردیانە پاشا.

And all the people of Judah took Azariah, who [was] sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.

22 ئەو بەندەری ئێلەتی بنیاد ناوە و گەڕاندییەوە سەر یەهودا، پاش ئەوەی ئەمەسیا لەگەڵ باوباپیرانی سەری نایەوە.

He built Elath, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.

23 لە ساڵی پازدەیەمینی پاشایەتی ئەمەسیای کوڕی یۆئاشی پاشای یەهودا، یارۆڤعامی کوڕی یەهۆئاشی پاشای ئیسرائیل ماوەی چل و یەک ساڵ لە سامیرە پاشایەتی کرد.

In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah, Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, began to reign in Samaria, [and reigned] forty and one years.

24 لەبەرچاوی یەزدان خراپەکاری کرد، لە هیچ یەکێک لە گوناهەکانی یارۆڤعامی کوڕی نەڤات لای نەدا، کە بەهۆیەوە وای کردبوو ئیسرائیل گوناه بکات.

And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

25 ئەو بوو کە سنوورەکانی ئیسرائیلی گەڕاندەوە، لە دەروازەی حەماتەوە هەتا دەریای مردوو، بەپێی فەرمایشتی یەزدان کە لە ڕێگەی بەندەکەیەوە، لە ڕێگەی یونسی کوڕی ئەمیتەیەوە فەرمووبووی، ئەو پێغەمبەرەی خەڵکی گەت حێفەر بوو.

He restored the border of Israel from the entering of Hamath to the sea of the plain, according to the word of the LORD God of Israel, which he spoke by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, the prophet, who [was] of Gath-hepher.

26 یەزدان زەلیلیی تاڵی کۆیلە و ئازادی ئیسرائیلی بینی، کەس نییە یارمەتی ئیسرائیل بدات.

For the LORD saw the affliction of Israel, [that it was] very bitter: for [there was] not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel.

27 یەزدانیش نەیفەرمووبوو کە ناوی ئیسرائیل لەژێر ئاسماندا دەسڕێتەوە، جا بە دەستی یارۆڤعامی کوڕی یەهۆئاش ڕزگاری کردن.

And the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.

28 ڕووداوەکانی دیکەی پاشایەتی یارۆڤعام و هەموو ئەوەی کردی و پاڵەوانییەکەی، چۆن جەنگا و چۆن دیمەشق و حەماتی گەڕاندەوە سەر ئیسرائیل، کە پێشتر سەر بە یەهودا بوون، لە پەڕتووکی کاروباری ڕۆژانەی پاشاکانی ئیسرائیل تۆمار کراون.

Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath, [which belonged] to Judah, for Israel, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

29 یارۆڤعام لەگەڵ باوباپیرانی، لەگەڵ پاشاکانی ئیسرائیل سەری نایەوە. ئیتر زەکەریای کوڕی لەدوای خۆی بوو بە پاشا.

And Jeroboam slept with his fathers, [even] with the kings of Israel; and Zachariah his son reigned in his stead.
