دووەم پوختەی مێژوو 21

1 ئیتر یەهۆشافات لەگەڵ باوباپیرانی سەری نایەوە، لە شاری داود لەگەڵ باوباپیرانی نێژرا. یەهۆرامی کوڕی لەدوای خۆی بوو بە پاشا.

And Josaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Joran his son reigned in his stead.

2 یەهۆرامی کوڕی یەهۆشافات چەند برایەکی هەبوو، عەزەریا، یەحیێل، زەکەریا، عەزەریاهو، میکائیل و شەفەتیا، هەموو ئەمانە کوڕی یەهۆشافاتی پاشای ئیسرائیل بوون.

And he had brothers, the six sons of Josaphat, Azarias, and Jeiel, and Zacharias, and Azarias, and Michael, and Zaphatias: all these [were] the sons of Josaphat king of Juda.

3 باوکیان لە زێڕ و زیو و شتی گرانبەها زۆری پێدابوون، لەگەڵ شارە قەڵابەندەکان لە یەهودا، بەڵام پاشایەتییەکەی بە یەهۆرام دا، چونکە نۆبەرە بوو.

And their father gave them many gifts, silver, and gold, and arms, together with fortified cities in Juda: but he gave the kingdom to Joram, for he [was] the firstborn.

4 کاتێک یەهۆرام جڵەوی پاشایەتییەکەی باوکی گرتە دەست و بەهێز بوو، هەموو براکانی و هەندێک لە میرەکانی ئیسرائیلی بە شمشێر کوشت.

And Joram entered upon his kingdom, and strengthened himself, and killed all his brothers with the sword, and [some] of the princes of Israel.

5 یەهۆرام تەمەنی سی و دوو ساڵ بوو کاتێک بوو بە پاشا، هەشت ساڵ لە ئۆرشەلیم پاشایەتی کرد و

When he was thirty and two years old, Joram succeeded to his kingdom, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

6 هەمان ڕێچکەی پاشاکانی ئیسرائیل و بنەماڵەی ئەحاڤی گرتەبەر، چونکە کچەکەی ئەحاڤ ژنی بوو، لەبەرچاوی یەزدان خراپەکاری کرد.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Achaab; for a daughter of Achaab was his wife: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord:

7 لەگەڵ ئەوەش یەزدان نەیویست بنەماڵەی داود لەناوببات، لەبەر ئەو پەیمانەی لەگەڵ داود بەستبووی، هەروەک پێی فەرموو بۆ هەتاهەتایە چرایەک دەداتە خۆی و نەوەکانی.

nevertheless the Lord would not utterly destroy the house of David, because of the covenant which he made with David, and as he said to him that he would give a light to him and his sons for ever.

8 لە سەردەمی پاشایەتی یەهۆرام، ئەدۆم لە یەهودا یاخی بوو، پاشایەکیان بۆ خۆیان دانا.

In those days Edom revolted from Juda, and they made a king over themselves.

9 ئیتر یەهۆرام لەگەڵ سەرکردەکانی و هەموو گالیسکەکانی پەڕییەوە. لەوێ ئەدۆمییەکان ئابڵوقەیان دان، بەڵام شەو خۆی و سەرکردەی گالیسکەکانی هەستان و ئابڵوقەکەیان شکاند و دەرباز بوون.

And Joram went with the princes, and all the cavalry with him: and it came to pass that he arose by night, and struck Edom that compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots, and the people fled to their tents.

10 هەتا ئێستاش ئەدۆم لە یەهودا یاخییە. هەر لەو کاتەدا لیڤناش یاخی بوو، چونکە یەهۆرام وازی لە یەزدانی پەروەردگاری باوباپیرانی خۆی هێنابوو.

And Edom revolted from Juda until this day. Then Lomna at that time revolted from [under] his hand, because he forsook the Lord God of his fathers.

11 هەروەها ئەو نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزایی لە چیاکانی یەهودا دروستکرد و وای لە دانیشتووانی ئۆرشەلیم کرد داوێنپیسی بکەن و یەهودای گومڕا کرد.

For he built high places in the cities of Juda, and caused the dwellers in Jerusalem to go a-whoring, and led Juda astray.

12 یەهۆرام نامەیەکی لەلایەن ئەلیاس پێغەمبەرەوە وەرگرت کە تێیدا نووسرابوو: «یەزدانی پەروەردگاری داودی باوکت ئەمە دەفەرموێت:”تۆ ڕێچکەی یەهۆشافاتی باوکت و ئاسای پاشای یەهودات نەگرتەبەر،

And there came to him [a message] in writing from Eliu the prophet, saying, Thus says the Lord God of your father David, Because you have not walked in the way of your father Josaphat, nor in the ways of Asa king of Juda,

13 بەڵکو ڕێچکەی پاشاکانی ئیسرائیلت گرتەبەر و وات لە یەهودا و دانیشتووانی ئۆرشەلیم کرد وەک ماڵی ئەحاڤ داوێنپیسی بکەن، هەروەها براکانی خۆتت کوشت، ئەوانەی ماڵی باوکت کە لە تۆ باشتر بوون.

but have walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and have caused Juda and the dwellers in Jerusalem to go a-whoring, as the house of Achaab caused [Israel] to go a-whoring, and you have slain your brethren, the sons of your father, who were better than yourself;

14 لەبەر ئەوە یەزدان گورزێکی جەرگبڕ لە گەلەکەت، کوڕەکانت، ژنەکانت و هەموو ئەوەی هەتە دەوەشێنێت،

behold, the Lord shall strike you with a great plague among your people, and your sons, and your wives, and all your store:

15 خۆشت تووشی نەخۆشییەکی ڕیخۆڵە دەبیت کە سەخت و درێژخایەن دەبێت، هەتا ڕیخۆڵەکانت لە لەشت دێنە دەرەوە.“»

and you [shall be afflicted] with a grievous disease, with a disease of the bowels, until your bowels shall fall out day by day with the sickness.

16 ئینجا یەزدان ڕۆحی فەلەستییەکان و عەرەبەکانی لای کوشییەکانی لە یەهۆرام وروژاند و

So the Lord stirred up the Philistines against Joram, and the Arabians, and those who bordered on the Aethiopians:

17 پەلاماری یەهودایان دا و داگیریان کرد و هەرچی لە کۆشکی پاشادا هەبوو لەگەڵ کوڕەکانی و ژنەکانیدا بردیان و هیچی بۆ نەمایەوە جگە لە ئەحەزیای کوڕە بچکۆلەی.

and they went up against Juda, and prevailed against them, and took away all the store which they found in the house of the king, and his sons, and his daughters; and there was no son left to him but Ochozias the youngest of his sons.

18 پاش هەموو ئەمانەش یەزدان یەهۆرامی تووشی نەخۆشی ڕیخۆڵە کرد و چارەسەریشی نەبوو.

And after all these things the Lord struck him in the bowels with an incurable disease.

19 نەخۆشییەکە بۆ ماوەیەک بەردەوام بوو هەتا لەدوای دوو ساڵ ڕیخۆڵەکانی هاتنە دەرەوە و بە ئازاری زۆرەوە مرد، گەلەکەشی ئاگرێکی وەک ئاگری باوباپیرانیان بۆ نەکردەوە.

And it continued from day to day: and when the time of the days came [to] two years, his bowels fell out with the disease, and he died by a grievous distemper: and his people performed no funeral, like the funeral of his fathers.

20 یەهۆرام لە تەمەنی سی و دوو ساڵیدا بوو بە پاشا و هەشت ساڵ لە ئۆرشەلیم پاشایەتی کرد و کە ڕۆیشت کەس بۆی بە داخ نەبوو و لە شاری داود ناشتیان، نەک لە گۆڕستانی پاشاکاندا.

He was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he departed without honor, and was buried in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
