یەکەم تیمۆساوس 4

1 ڕۆح بە ڕاشکاوی دەفەرموێ کە لە کۆتایی ڕۆژگاردا هەندێک کەس لە باوەڕەکە هەڵدەگەڕێنەوە و بە دوای ڕۆحی چەواشە و فێرکردنەکانی ڕۆحە پیسەکان دەکەون.

Now the Spirit expressly saith, that in latter times some shall apostatize from the faith, attending to seducing spirits,

2 ئەم جۆرە فێرکردنە لە ڕێگەی درۆزنە دووڕووەکانەوە دێت کە ویژدانیان داخکراوە.

and doctrines of demons founded in the hypocrisy of liars, who are seared in their own conscience, forbidding to marry,

3 هاوسەرگیری قەدەغە دەکەن، فەرمانی نەخواردن دەدەن لەو خۆراکەی کە خودا بەدییهێناوە بۆ ئەوەی بە سوپاسی باوەڕداران و ڕاستیناسان وەربگیردرێت.

and enjoining abstinence from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving by those that believe and know the truth.

4 هەموو بەدیهێنراوی خودا چاکە، ئەگەر شتێک بە سوپاسەوە وەرگیرا ڕەت ناکرێتەوە،

For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving:

5 چونکە بە وشەی خودا و نوێژەوە پیرۆزکراوە.

for it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.

6 ئەگەر تۆ بەمانە ڕێنمایی خوشکان و برایان بکەیت، ئەوا دەبیتە خزمەتکارێکی باشی عیسای مەسیح، کە بە وشەکانی باوەڕەکە و فێرکردنی باش پەروەردە کرایت و شوێنی دەکەویت.

If thou lay these things before the brethren, thou wilt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, as one brought up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, to which thou hast attained.

7 ئەفسانەی پووچ و هەقایەتی پیرێژنان ڕەت بکەوە، بەڵام خۆت لەسەر لەخواترسی ڕابهێنە.

But profane and groundless fables reject, and exercise thyself unto godliness.

8 وەرزشی جەستەیی بۆ هەندێک شت سوودبەخشە، بەڵام لەخواترسی بۆ هەموو شتێک سوودبەخشە، چونکە بەڵێنی ژیانی ئێستا و داهاتووی تێدایە.

For bodily exercise profiteth little, but piety is profitable unto all things, having the promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come:

9 ئەم قسەیە ڕاستە و شایانی پەسەندکردنی تەواوە.

this is a certain truth and worthy of all acceptance.

10 بۆ ئەمە ڕەنج دەدەین و تێدەکۆشین، چونکە هیوامان بە خودای زیندووە، ئەوەی ڕزگارکەری هەموو خەڵکە، بە تایبەتیش باوەڕداران.

For to this end we both labour and suffer reproach, because we have hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of the faithful.

11 بەم شتانە ڕابسپێرە و فێر بکە.

These things declare and teach.

12 با کەس سووکایەتی بە گەنجییەتیت نەکات، بەڵکو ببە نموونەی باوەڕداران لە قسە و ڕەفتاردا، لە خۆشەویستی و باوەڕ و پاکیتدا.

Let no one have cause to despise thy youth; but he thou an example to believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

13 هەتا دێم بایەخ بە خوێندنەوەی گشتی نووسراوە پیرۆزەکان و وتاردان و فێرکردن بدە.

Till I come attend to reading, to exhortation, and teaching.

14 ئەو بەهرەیەی لە تۆدایە پشتگوێی مەخە، ئەوەی بە پێشبینی وەرتگرتووە کاتێک پیرانی کڵێسا دەستیان لەسەر دانایت.

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

15 بایەخ بەم شتانە بدە، هەموو توانای خۆتی تێدا بەکاربهێنە، تاکو پێشکەوتنت بۆ هەمووان دەربکەوێت.

Meditate on these things, be wholly in them, that thy proficiency may be manifest in all.

16 ئاگاداری خۆت و فێرکردنت بە، لەسەری بەردەوام بە، چونکە ئەگەر ئەمەت کرد خۆت و گوێگرانیشت ڕزگار دەکەیت.

Take heed to thyself, and to thy doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this, thou wilt both save thyself and those that hear thee.
