| ئەی خوشکان و برایان، خۆتان دەزانن هاتنمان بۆ لاتان بێ سوود نەبوو، | 1 |
For you yourselves know, brothers, our visit to you was not in vain,
| بەڵکو وەک دەزانن پێشتر لە فیلیپی ئازارمان چێژت و سووکایەتیمان پێ کرا، بەڵام بە پشتیوانی خودا سەرەڕای دژایەتییەکی زۆر، ئازایانە باسی مزگێنیی خودامان بۆ کردن. | 2 |
but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as you know, at Philipus, we grew bold in our God to tell you the Good News of God in much conflict.
| مەبەستی ئێمە لە هاندانتان چەواشەکردن و بەڕەڵایی و خەڵەتاندن نییە، | 3 |
For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deception.
| بەڵکو هەروەک چۆن لەلایەن خوداوە پەسەند کرابین کە متمانەی مزگێنیمان بدرێتێ، بە هەمان شێوە دەدوێین، ئەمەش بۆ بەدەستهێنانی ڕەزامەندی خەڵک نییە، بەڵکو ڕەزامەندی خودا، کە دڵمان تاقی دەکاتەوە. | 4 |
But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak; not as pleasing people, but God, who tests our hearts.
| خودا شایەتە، نە زمانلووسیتان بۆ دەکەین و نە لەبەر چاوچنۆکییە، وەک دەزانن، | 5 |
For neither were we at any time found using words of flattery, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed (God is witness),
| چاوەڕوانی ستایش و پێداهەڵدانی خەڵک نەبووین، نە لە ئێوە و نە لە کەسانی دیکەش. وەک نێردراوانی مەسیح دەمانتوانی بارگرانی بین لەسەرتان، | 6 |
nor seeking glory from people (neither from you nor from others), when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Meshikha.
| بەڵام نەرمونیان بووین لەگەڵتاندا، وەک دایکێک شیر بداتە منداڵەکانی. | 7 |
But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother cherishes her own children.
| بە ڕادەیەک ئێوەمان خۆشویست کە ئامادەبووین نەک تەنها مزگێنیی خودا بەڵکو خۆشمان لەگەڵتاندا بەش بکەین، چونکە ئێوە لەلای ئێمە زۆر ئازیز بوون. | 8 |
Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us.
| خوشکان و برایان، دڵنیام ڕەنج و ماندووبوونی ئێمەتان لە یادە، شەو و ڕۆژ کارمان دەکرد، تاکو بەسەر کەستانەوە نەبینە بار، کاتێک مزگێنیی خودامان بۆ ڕاگەیاندن. | 9 |
For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.
| ئێوە و خوداش شایەتن کە لەنێو ئێوەی باوەڕداردا چۆن بە پیرۆزی و ڕاستودروستی و بێ گلەیی ڕەفتارمان کردووە. | 10 |
You are witnesses with God, how holy, righteously, and blamelessly we behaved ourselves toward you who believe.
| هەروەک دەزانن کە ئێمە لەگەڵ هەریەک لە ئێوە وەکو باوکێک هەڵسوکەوتمان کرد، وەک چۆن باوکێک لەگەڵ منداڵەکانی خۆیدا هەڵسوکەوت دەکات، | 11 |
As you know, as a father with his own children,
| هانمان دەدان و ورەمان بەرز دەکردنەوە و لێتان دەپاڕاینەوە، بە شێوەیەک بژین شایانی خودا بێت، ئەوەی بۆ شانشین و شکۆی خۆی بانگتان دەکات. | 12 |
we exhorted, comforted, and implored every one of you to lead a life worthy of God, who calls you into his own Kingdom and glory.
| لەبەر ئەمە بێ بڕانەوە سوپاسی خودا دەکەین، چونکە پەیامی خوداتان وەک پەیامی مرۆڤ لە ئێمە وەرنەگرت، بەڵکو وەک بەڕاستی وشەی خودا بێت، لە ڕاستیشدا هەر بەو جۆرەیە، ئەوەی لەناو ئێوەی باوەڕداریشدا کار دەکات. | 13 |
For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as a human word, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.
| ئەی خوشکان و برایان، ئێوە بوون بە لاساییکەرەوەی کڵێساکانی خودا لە یەهودیا، واتە ئەوانەی کە لەگەڵ عیسای مەسیحدا بوونەتە یەک، چونکە ئێوە بە دەستی هاوڵاتییەکانی خۆتان هەمان ئەو ئازارانەتان کێشا کە باوەڕدارانی یەهودیا بە دەستی جولەکەکان کێشایان، | 14 |
For you, brothers, became imitators of the congregations of God which are in Yehuda in Meshikha Yeshua; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Yehudeans;
| ئەوانەی عیسای خاوەن شکۆ و پێغەمبەرانیان کوشت و ئێمەیان چەوساندەوە. خودا ڕازی ناکەن و لە دژی هەموو خەڵکن، | 15 |
who killed both the Lord Yeshua and the prophets, and drove us out, and did not please God, and are hostile to all people;
| ڕێگامان لێ دەگرن لەوەی بۆ نەتەوەکان بدوێین تاکو ڕزگاربن، بەمەش کاسەی گوناهەکانیان سەرڕێژ دەکەن. بەڵام لە کۆتاییدا تووڕەیی خودا هاتووەتە سەریان. | 16 |
forbidding us to speak to those who are not Jewish that they may be saved; to fill up their sins always. But wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
| بەڵام ئەی خوشکان و برایان، ئێمە کە بۆ ماوەیەکی کورت لێتان دوور کەوتینەوە، بە چاو نەک بە دڵ، زۆر شەیدا و پەرۆشی بینینتان بووین. | 17 |
But we, brothers, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence, not in heart, tried even harder to see your face with great desire,
| ویستمان بێینە لاتان، لە ڕاستیدا خۆم وەک پۆڵس چەند جارێک هەوڵم دا، بەڵام شەیتان ڕێی لێگرتین. | 18 |
because we wanted to come to you—indeed, I, Paul, once and again—but Satana hindered us.
| هیوا و خۆشی و تاجی شانازیمان لەبەردەم عیسای خاوەن شکۆمان چییە لە کاتی هاتنیدا؟ ئایا ئێوە نین؟ | 19 |
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you, before our Lord Yeshua at his coming?
| ئێوە شکۆ و خۆشیمانن. | 20 |
For you are our glory and our joy.
