یەکەم ساموئێل 14

1 ڕۆژێک یۆناتانی کوڕی شاول بەو لاوەی گوت کە تفاقەکەی بۆ هەڵدەگرت: «وەرە، با بپەڕینەوە سەربازگەی فەلەستییەکان، ئەوانەی لەوبەرن.» بەڵام بە باوکی نەگوت.

Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man that bore his armour, Come, and let us go over to the garrison of the Philistines that is on the other side. But he told not his father.

2 شاولیش لە قەراغی گیڤعادا لەژێر ئەو دار هەنارەی لە میگرۆنە دانیشتبوو، ئەو خەڵکەش کە لەگەڵی مابوونەوە نزیکەی شەش سەد پیاو بوون،

And Saul tarried at the edge of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree which is in Migron: and the people that were with him were about six hundred men;

3 لەنێوانیان ئاحییای کاهین بوو کە ئێفۆدی لەبەردا بوو. ئاحییا کوڕی ئەحیتوڤی برای ئیخاڤۆدی کوڕی فینەحاسی کوڕی عێلیی کاهینی یەزدان بوو لە شیلۆ. کەس نەیدەزانی کە یۆناتان ڕۆیشتووە.

And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, Ichabod’s brother, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the LORD’S priest in Shiloh, wearing an ephod. And the people knew not that Jonathan was gone.

4 لەنێوان ئەو دەربەندەی کە یۆناتان ویستی لێی بپەڕێتەوە بۆ سەربازگەی فەلەستییەکان هەڵدێرێک لەم بەر و هەڵدێرێک لەو بەر هەبوو، ناوی یەکێکیان بۆچێچ و ناوی ئەوی دیکەیان سەنە بوو.

And on each side of the pass, by which Jonathan sought to go over to the garrison of the Philistines, there was a sharp rock on the one side, and a sharp rock on the other side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh.

5 یەکێکیان ڕووی لە باکوور بوو بەرامبەر بە میخماس چەقی بوو و ئەوەی دیکەیان ڕووی لە باشوور بوو بەرامبەر بە گەڤەع.

The front of the one rose northward opposite Michmash, and the other southward opposite Gibeah.

6 ئینجا یۆناتان بە لاوەکەی گوت کە هەڵگری تفاقەکانی بوو: «وەرە، با بپەڕینەوە سەربازگەی ئەو خەتەنە نەکراوانە، بەڵکو یەزدان کارێکی وامان بۆ بکات، چونکە هیچ شتێک ناتوانێت لەبەردەم یەزدان ببێتە بەربەست بۆ ڕزگارکردن، چ زۆر بین یان کەم.»

And Jonathan said to the young man that bore his armour, Come, and let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.

7 هەڵگری تفاقەکانیشی گوتی: «هەرچی لەسەر دڵتە ئەوە بکە و پێش بکەوە. ئەوەتا، منیش بە تەواوی لەگەڵتدام.»

And his armourbearer said to him, Do all that is in thy heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.

8 یۆناتانیش گوتی: «ئەوەتا ئێمە دەپەڕینەوە بۆ لای ئەو پیاوانە و خۆمانیان نیشان دەدەین،

Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over to these men, and we will show ourselves to them.

9 ئەگەر پێیان گوتین:”ڕابوەستن هەتا دەگەینە لاتان،“لە شوێنی خۆماندا ڕادەوەستین و سەرناکەوین بۆ لایان.

If they say thus to us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up to them.

10 بەڵام ئەگەر گوتیان:”سەربکەون بۆ لامان،“ئەوا سەردەکەوین، چونکە یەزدان ئەوانی داوەتە دەستمانەوە، ئەمەش نیشانەیە بۆمان.»

But if they say thus, Come up to us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign to us.

11 ئینجا هەردووکیان خۆیان بۆ سەربازگەی فەلەستییەکان دەرخست و فەلەستییەکانیش گوتیان: «تەماشا بکەن، عیبرانییەکان لەو کونانە دێنە دەرەوە کە خۆیان تێیدا شاردبووەوە.»

And both of them showed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves.

12 ئینجا پیاوانی سەربازگەکە هاواریان لە یۆناتان و هەڵگری تفاقەکانی کرد و گوتیان: «سەربکەون بۆ لامان، شتێکتان فێر دەکەین.» یۆناتانیش بە هەڵگری تفاقەکەی گوت: «بەدوامدا سەربکەوە، چونکە یەزدان ئەوانی داوەتە دەست گەلی ئیسرائیل.»

And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will show you something. And Jonathan said to his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.

13 یۆناتان بە دەست و پێیەکانی سەرکەوت و هەڵگری تفاقەکانیشی بەدوایەوە بوو. فەلەستییەکانیش لەبەردەم یۆناتان کەوتن و هەڵگری تفاقەکانیشی لەدوایەوە دەیکوشتن،

And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armourbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and his armourbearer slew after him.

14 یەکەم گورز کە یۆناتان و هەڵگری تفاقەکانی وەشاندییان، لە ڕووبەری کەمتر لە یەک دۆنم زەویدا نزیکەی بیست پیاویان کوشت.

And that first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armourbearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were an half acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow.

15 ترسێکی زۆر باڵی کێشا بەسەر تەواوی سوپادا، واتە هەر هەموو ئەوانەی لە ئۆردوگا و کێڵگە و سەربازگەکە بوون، هەروەها تێکدەرەکانیش، زەویش لەرزی. ترسێکی ئێجگار زۆر بوو لە خوداوە.

And there was trembling in the host, in the field, and among all the people: the garrison, and the spoilers, they also trembled, and the earth quaked: so it was a very great trembling.

16 ئێشکگرەکانی شاول لە گیڤعای بنیامینەوە بینییان کە سوپاکە توایەوە و بە هەموو لایەکدا پەرتەوازە بوون.

And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and, behold, the multitude melted away, and they went on beating down one another.

17 ئینجا شاول بەو لەشکرەی گوت کە لەگەڵی بوون: «تکایە سەرژمێری بکەن و ببینن کێ لە ئێمە ڕۆیشتووە.» ئەوانیش سەرژمێرییان کرد و بینییان وا یۆناتان و هەڵگری تفاقەکانی لەوێ نەبوون.

Then said Saul to the people that were with him, Number now, and see who is gone from us. And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there.

18 شاول بە ئاحییای گوت: «سندوقی خودا بهێنە ئێرە.» لەو ڕۆژانەدا سندوقی خودا لەلای نەوەی ئیسرائیل بوو.

And Saul said to Ahiah, Bring here the ark of God. For the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel.

19 هێشتا شاول قسەی لەگەڵ کاهینەکە دەکرد، هەراوهۆریا لەناو ئۆردوگای فەلەستییەکان هەتا دەهات زیاتر دەبوو، بۆیە شاول بە کاهینەکەی گوت: «دەست بکێشەوە.»

And it came to pass, while Saul talked to the priest, that the noise that was in the host of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said to the priest, Withdraw thy hand.

20 ئینجا شاول و هەموو ئەو گەلەی لەگەڵی بوون یەکیانگرت و چوون بۆ جەنگەکە. بینییان فەلەستییەکان لە پەشۆکاوییەکی زۆر گەورەدان و شمشێری هەریەکەیان لە دژی هاوڕێکەیەتی.

And Saul and all the people that were with him assembled themselves, and they came to the battle: and, behold, every man’s sword was against his companion, and there was a very great confusion.

21 هەروەها عیبرانییەکانی ئەو دەوروبەرەش کە پێشتر لەگەڵ فەلەستییەکاندا بوون و لەگەڵیاندا بۆ ئۆردوگاکە سەرکەوتبوون، ئەوانیش چوونە پاڵ ئەو ئیسرائیلییانەی لەگەڵ شاول و یۆناتاندا بوون.

Moreover the Hebrews that were with the Philistines before that time, who went up with them into the camp from the surrounding country, even they also turned to be with the Israelites that were with Saul and Jonathan.

22 کاتێک پیاوانی ئیسرائیل، ئەوانەی لە ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی ئەفرایمدا خۆیان شاردبووەوە، بیستیانەوە کە فەلەستییەکان هەڵاتوونە، ئەوانیش لە نزیکەوە بەرەو جەنگەکە دوایان کەوتن.

Likewise all the men of Israel who had hid themselves in mount Ephraim, when they heard that the Philistines fled, even they also followed hard after them in the battle.

23 جا یەزدان لەو ڕۆژەدا ئیسرائیلی ڕزگار کرد و جەنگەکە گوازرایەوە بۆ بێت‌ئاڤن.

So the LORD saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over to Bethaven.

24 پیاوانی ئیسرائیل لەو ڕۆژە پەرێشان بوون، چونکە شاول گەلی سوێند دا و گوتی: «نەفرەت لەو پیاوە بێت، ئەوەی بەر لە ئێوارە نان بخوات و پێش ئەوەی تۆڵە لە دوژمنەکانم بکەمەوە.» بۆیە هەموو سوپاکە تامی نانیان نەکرد.

And the men of Israel were distressed that day: for Saul had solemnly charged the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food until evening, that I may be avenged on my enemies. So none of the people tasted any food.

25 ئینجا هەموو سوپاکە هاتنە دارستانێک و هەنگوین بەسەر ڕووی زەوییەکەوە بوو.

And all they of the land came to a forest; and there was honey upon the ground.

26 کاتێک سوپاکە هاتنە ناو دارستانەکەوە بینییان ئەوەتا هەنگوین دەتکێت، بەڵام کەس دەستی بۆ دەمی نەبرد، چونکە گەل لە سوێندەکە ترسان.

And when the people had come into the forest, behold, the honey flowed; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared the oath.

27 بەڵام یۆناتان نەیبیستبوو کە باوکی سوپای سوێند دابوو، جا نووکی داردەستەکەی کە بە دەستیەوە بوو درێژ کرد و خستییە ناو شانە هەنگوینەکە و بۆ دەمی برد، ئیتر چاوەکانی گەشانەوە.

But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: therefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.

28 ئینجا یەکێک لە سەربازەکان پێی گوت: «باوکت بە توندی سوپای سوێند دا و گوتی:”نەفرەت لەو پیاوە بێت کە ئەمڕۆ نان دەخوات!“لەبەر ئەوە جەنگاوەران لە پەلوپۆ کەوتبوون.»

Then answered one of the people, and said, Thy father strictly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food this day. And the people were faint.

29 یۆناتانیش گوتی: «باوکم گیروگرفتی لە خاکەکەدا ناوەتەوە، تکایە تەماشا بکەن چاوەکانم چۆن گەشاونەتەوە، چونکە کەمێک لەم هەنگوینەم تام کرد.

Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how my eyes have become bright, because I tasted a little of this honey.

30 ئەی ئەگەر ئەمڕۆ جەنگاوەرەکان لە دەستکەوتی دوژمنەکانیان بخواردایە کە دەستیان کەوتووە، ئایا ئەو گورزەی لە فەلەستییەکان وەشێنرا گەورەتر نەدەبوو؟»

How much better, if only the people had eaten freely to day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for had there not been now a much greater slaughter among the Philistines?

31 لەو ڕۆژەدا لە میخماسەوە هەتا ئەیالۆن گورزیان لە فەلەستییەکان وەشاند، جەنگاوەرەکان لە پەلوپۆ کەوتبوون.

And they smote the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon: and the people were very faint.

32 پاشان سوپاکە هەڵیانکوتایە سەر دەستکەوتەکە و مەڕ و مانگا و گوێرەکەیان برد و لەسەر زەوی سەریان بڕین و جەنگاوەرەکان بە خوێنەوە خواردیان.

And the people flew upon the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people ate them with the blood.

33 بە شاولیان گوت: «وا سوپاکە گوناه لە دژی یەزدان دەکەن کە گۆشت بە خوێنەوە دەخۆن.» ئەویش گوتی: «ناپاکیتان کرد، دەستبەجێ بەردێکی گەورە بۆ ئێرە گلۆر بکەنەوە.»

Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed: roll a great stone to me this day.

34 ئینجا گوتی: «بەناو سوپادا بڵاو ببنەوە و پێیان بڵێن:”با هەریەکە گا و بەرانەکەی خۆی بۆم بهێنێتە پێش و لێرە سەری ببڕن، ئینجا بیخۆن و گوناه لە دژی یەزدان مەکەن کە گۆشتەکە بە خوێنەوە بخۆن.“» ئیتر هەموو سوپا لەو شەوەدا هەریەکە و گایەکەی هێنایە پێش و لەوێدا سەری بڕی.

And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say to them, Bring me here every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there.

35 ئینجا شاول قوربانگایەکی بۆ یەزدان بنیاد نا، ئەوە یەکەم قوربانگا بوو کە بۆ یەزدانی بنیاد نا.

And Saul built an altar to the LORD: the same was the first altar that he built to the LORD.

36 پاشان شاول گوتی: «با بە شەو بەدوای فەلەستییەکاندا بچینە خوارەوە و هەتا بەرەبەیان تاڵانیان بکەین و قڕیان بکەین.» ئەوانیش گوتیان: «چی بە باش دەزانیت ئەوە بکە.» بەڵام کاهینەکە گوتی: «با لێرە لە خودا بپرسین.»

And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatever seemeth good to thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near to God here.

37 ئینجا شاول پرسیاری لە خودا کرد: «ئایا بەدوای فەلەستییەکاندا دابەزم؟ ئایا دەیاندەیتە دەست گەلی ئیسرائیل؟» بەڵام لەو ڕۆژەدا وەڵامی نەدایەوە.

And Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he answered him not that day.

38 جا شاول گوتی: «ئەی هەموو ڕابەرانی سوپا، وەرنە پێشەوە بۆ ئێرە، بزانن و ببینن ئەمڕۆ ئەو گوناهە چۆن ڕوویداوە،

And Saul said, Come ye here, all the chief of the people: and know and see what this sin hath been this day.

39 چونکە بە یەزدانی زیندوو کە ڕزگارکەری ئیسرائیلە، تەنانەت ئەگەر لە یۆناتانی کوڕیشم بێ، دەبێت بمرێت.» بەڵام لە هەموو سوپاکە کەس وەڵامی نەدایەوە.

For, as the LORD liveth, who saveth Israel, though it is in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.

40 ئینجا بە هەموو ئیسرائیلی گوت: «ئێوە لەلایەک بن و من و یۆناتانی کوڕیشم لەلایەک دەبین.» جەنگاوەرەکانیش بە شاولیان گوت: «چی بە باش دەزانیت بیکە.»

Then said he to all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said to Saul, Do what seemeth good to thee.

41 شاول گوتی: «ئەی یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل، بۆچی ئەمڕۆ وەڵامی خزمەتکارەکەت نادەیتەوە؟ ئەگەر هەڵەی من یان یۆناتانی کوڕمە، ئەوا ئوریممان پێبدە. بەڵام ئەگەر هەڵەی گەلی ئیسرائیلە ئەوا تومیممان پێبدە.» جا تیروپشکەکە کەوتە سەر یۆناتان و شاول، بەڵام سوپاکە بێتاوان دەرچوون.

Therefore Saul said to the LORD God of Israel, Give a perfect lot. And Saul and Jonathan were taken: but the people escaped.

42 ئینجا شاول گوتی: «لەنێوان من و یۆناتانی کوڕم تیروپشک هەڵبدەن.» جا تیروپشکەکە کەوتە سەر یۆناتان.

And Saul said, Cast lots between me and Jonathan my son. And Jonathan was taken.

43 ئینجا شاول بە یۆناتانی گوت: «پێم بڵێ چیت کردووە.» یۆناتانیش پێی ڕاگەیاند: «بە نووکی داردەستەکەم کە بەدەستمەوە بوو کەمێک هەنگوینم تامکرد. ئایا ئێستا دەبێت بمرم؟»

Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in my hand, and, lo, I must die.

44 شاولیش گوتی: «یۆناتان! ئەگەر تۆ نەمریت، با خودا توندترین سزام بدات.»

And Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou shalt surely die, Jonathan.

45 بەڵام جەنگاوەران بە شاولیان گوت: «ئایا یۆناتان، ئەوەی ئەم ڕزگارییە گەورەیەی لە ئیسرائیلدا هێنایە دی دەبێ بمرێت؟ حاشا! بە یەزدانی زیندوو، نابێت تاڵە مووێکی سەری بکەوێتە سەر زەوی، چونکە ئەمڕۆ ئەو لەگەڵ خودا ئەمەی کردووە.» جا گەل یۆناتانیان دەرباز کرد و نەمرد.

And the people said to Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? By no means: as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.

46 ئینجا شاول وازی لە ڕاونانی فەلەستییەکان هێنا و فەلەستییەکانیش بۆ شوێنی خۆیان گەڕانەوە.

Then Saul went up from following the Philistines: and the Philistines went to their own place.

47 دوای ئەوەی شاول جڵەوی پاشایەتی ئیسرائیلی گرتە دەست، لە دژی هەموو دوژمنەکانی دەوروبەری جەنگا، مۆئاب و عەمۆن و ئەدۆم و پاشاکانی چۆڤا و فەلەستییەکان. ڕووی لە هەرکوێ دەکرد، سەردەکەوت.

So Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines: and wherever he turned himself, he smote them.

48 هەروەها دلێرانە جەنگا و گورزی لە عەمالێقییەکان وەشاند و ئیسرائیلی لە دەستی تاڵانکەرانی دەرباز کرد.

And he gathered an host, and smote the Amalekites, and delivered Israel from the hands of them that spoiled them.

49 کوڕەکانی شاولیش، یۆناتان و یەشڤی و مەلکی‌شوەع بوون. ناوی دوو کچەکەشی، ناوی گەورەکەیان مێرەڤ و بچووکەکەشیان ناوی میخەل بوو.

Now the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Ishui, and Melchishua: and the names of his two daughters were these; the name of the firstborn Merab, and the name of the younger Michal:

50 ژنەکەشی ناوی ئەحینۆعەمی کچی ئەحیمەعەچ بوو. فەرماندەی گشتی سوپاکەشی ناوی ئەبنێری کوڕی نێری مامی شاول بوو،

And the name of Saul’s wife was Ahinoam, the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of the captain of his host was Abner, the son of Ner, Saul’s uncle.

51 قیشی باوکی شاول و نێری باوکی ئەبنێریش کوڕی ئەبیێل بوون.

And Kish was the father of Saul; and Ner the father of Abner was the son of Abiel.

52 بە درێژایی ماوەی حوکمڕانی شاول جەنگێکی سەخت لە دژی فەلەستییەکان هەبوو، جا شاول هەر پیاوێکی دلێر و ئازای دەبینی دەیهێنایە پاڵ خۆی.

And there was a fierce war against the Philistines all the days of Saul: and when Saul saw any strong man, or any valiant man, he took him to himself.
