1 لە چوار سەد و هەشتایەمین ساڵی هاتنە دەرەوەی نەوەی ئیسرائیل لە خاکی میسر، کە دەکاتە ساڵی چوارەمی پاشایەتی سلێمان لە ئیسرائیل، لە مانگی زیڤ کە مانگی دووە، سلێمان دەستی بە بنیادنانی پەرستگاکەی یەزدان کرد.

Four hundred and eighty years after the Israelites left Egypt, in the fourth year of King Solomon's reign, in the month of Ziv, Solomon began building the Temple of the Lord.

2 ئەو پیرۆزگایەی سلێمانی پاشا بۆ یەزدان بنیادی نا، درێژییەکەی شەست باڵ و پانییەکەی بیست باڵ و بەرزاییەکەشی سی باڵ بوو.

The Temple King Solomon built for the Lord measured sixty cubits long by twenty cubits wide by thirty cubits high.

3 هەیوانی بەردەم هۆڵی سەرەکی پیرۆزگاکەش درێژییەکەی بەرامبەر بوو بە پانی پیرۆزگاکە، واتە بیست باڵ بوو، پانییەکەشی لەبەردەم پیرۆزگاکەوە دە باڵ بوو.

The entrance room at the front of the Temple was twenty cubits wide. It ran the whole width of the Temple and projected out ten cubits in front of the Temple.

4 هەروەها کڵاوڕۆژنەی کەتیبەداری بۆ پیرۆزگاکە دروستکرد.

He had latticed windows made to be placed high up in the Temple.

5 ئینجا لەسەر دیواری سەر بە هۆڵە سەرەکییەکە و دیواری شوێنەکەی هەرەپیرۆز چەند نهۆمێکی بنیاد نا، واتە لە دەوری دیوارەکانی پیرۆزگاکە، ژووری لاتەنیشت لە دەوریان هەبوو.

He also had a structure built against the outer wall of the Temple, both the outer and the inner sanctuary, to provide a series of side rooms.

6 نهۆمی ژێرەوە پانییەکەی پێنج باڵ و نهۆمی ناوەڕاست پانییەکەی شەش باڵ و سێیەمیشیان پانییەکەی حەوت باڵ بوو، بەم شێوەیە لە دەرەوە لێواری لە دەوری پیرۆزگاکە کرد هەتا کاریتەکان نەخاتە ناو دیوارەکان.

The ground floor measured five cubits wide, the first floor six cubits, and the second floor seven cubits. In addition he had offset ledges placed all the way around the outside, so that beams would not have to be inserted into the Temple walls.

7 لە کاتی بنیادنانی پەرستگاکەدا بەردی نایابی ئامادەکراو بەکارهێنرا، بەڵام دەنگی چەکوش و تەور و هیچ ئامێرێکی ئاسن لە پەرستگاکە نەبیسترا.

When the Temple was built the stones were finished at the quarry so that no noise from any hammer, ax, or any iron tool was heard in the Temple during construction.

8 داڵانی نهۆمی ژێرەوە لەلای باشووری پەرستگاکە بوو؛ بە پەیژە سەردەکەوتن بۆ ناوەڕاست و لەوێشەوە بۆ نهۆمی سێیەم.

The entrance to the ground floor was on the south side of the Temple. Stairs led to the first floor, and then on to the second floor.

9 پەرستگاکەی بنیاد نا و تەواوی کرد، بە تەختەداری پان و کاریتەی ئورز سەری پەرستگاکەی گرت.

So Solomon finished building the Temple, covering it with a roof made of cedar rafters and planks.

10 هەموو ئەو ژوورە لاتەنیشتانەش کە لە دەوری پیرۆزگاکە بنیادی نان، بەرزاییەکەیان پێنج باڵ بوو، بە داری ئورز بە پیرۆزگاکەی گەیاندن.

He built the external structure along the whole of the Temple. It was five cubits high, joined to the Temple with cedar joists.

11 فەرمایشتی یەزدان بۆ سلێمان هات و فەرمووی:

The Lord sent this message to Solomon, telling him,

12 «ئەم پەرستگایەی کە تۆ دروستی دەکەیت، ئەگەر بە ڕێگای فەرزەکانمدا بڕۆیت و حوکمەکانم پەیڕەو بکەیت، هەروەها هەموو فەرمانەکانم بەجێبهێنیت بۆ پەیڕەوکردنی، ئەوا ئەو بەڵێنەی بە داودی باوکی تۆم دا لە ڕێگەی تۆوە دەیهێنمە دی.

“About this Temple you are building: if you follow what I have said, fulfilling my requirements and keeping my commandments in what you do, I will keep the promise I made to your father David through you.

13 هەروەها لەنێو نەوەی ئیسرائیلدا نیشتەجێ دەبم و ئیسرائیلی گەلم بەجێناهێڵم.»

I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon Israel, my people.”

14 سلێمان پەرستگاکەی بنیاد نا و تەواوی کرد.

Solomon finished building the Temple.

15 دیواری ناوەوەی پیرۆزگاکە هەتا بنمێچەکەی بە تەختەی داری ئورز ڕووپۆش کرد، هەروەها زەمینەکەشی بە تەختەی دار سنەوبەر.

He lined the walls with cedar panels from floor to ceiling and he covered the floor of the Temple with cypress boards.

16 بیست باڵیشی لە بەشی دواوەی پیرۆزگاکە بە دیوارێک لە تەختەی دار ئورز جیا کردەوە، هەتا ببێتە پیرۆزگای ناوەوەی پەرستگاکە، کە شوێنی هەرەپیرۆزە.

He sectioned off twenty cubits at the rear of the Temple with boards of cedar from floor to ceiling, making an inner sanctuary as the Most Holy Place.

17 هۆڵە سەرەکییەکە لەبەردەم ئەم ژوورەوە چل باڵ بوو.

The main Temple in front of this room measured forty cubits long.

18 دار ئورزی پەرستگاکە بە دیوی ناوەوەی پەرستگاکە لەسەر شێوەی سەوزەوات و گوڵی کراوە نەخشێنرابوو، هەمووی داری ئورز بوو، هیچ بەردێک نەدەبینرا.

The cedar panels inside the Temple were decorated with carvings of gourds and open flowers. Everything was lined with cedar—none of the stone was visible.

19 لەناوەڕاستی پەرستگاکە، شوێنی هەرەپیرۆزی ئامادە کرد هەتا سندوقی پەیمانی یەزدان لەوێ دابنێت.

He also had the inner sanctuary made within the Temple where the Ark of the Lord's Agreement would be placed.

20 شوێنی هەرەپیرۆز، کە بیست باڵ درێژ و بیست باڵ پان و بیست باڵیش بەرز بوو، بە زێڕی بێگەرد ڕووپۆشی کرد، قوربانگاکەشی بە ئورز ڕووپۆش کرد.

The inner sanctuary measured twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high. He had the interior covered with a coating with pure gold, as well as the altar of cedar.

21 سلێمان دیوی ناوەوەی پیرۆزگاکەی بە زێڕی بێگەرد ڕووپۆش کرد، زنجیری زێڕیشی لەبەردەم شوێنی هەرەپیرۆز ڕاکێشا، بە زێڕ ڕووپۆشی کرد.

Solomon had the whole of the inside of the Temple covered with pure gold, He had gold chains stretched across the front of the inner sanctuary, which was also covered with gold.

22 تەواوی قوربانگای شوێنی هەرەپیرۆز و تەواوی دیوی ناوەوەی پیرۆزگاکەشی بە زێڕ ڕووپۆش کرد.

He covered the whole inside of the Temple with a coating of gold until it was all finished. He also covered with gold the entire altar for the inner sanctuary.

23 لەناو شوێنی هەرەپیرۆزیش دوو کەڕوبی لە داری زەیتوون دروستکرد، بەرزی هەریەکەیان دە باڵ بوو.

He had two cherubim made out of olive wood for the inner sanctuary, each one ten cubits tall.

24 هەر کەڕوبێک دوو باڵی هەبوو، درێژی هەر باڵێک پێنج باڵ بوو، لە سەری باڵێکییەوە هەتا سەری باڵەکەی دیکە دە باڵ بوو.

Both wings of the cherub measured five cubits, making a total wingspan of ten cubits.

25 هەردوو کەڕوبەکە یەک ئەندازە و یەک شێوەیان هەبوو.

The other cherub was also ten cubits tall, since they were identical both in size and shape.

26 بەرزی کەڕوبی یەکەم دە باڵ بوو، کەڕوبی دووەمیش بە هەمان شێوە.

Both cherubs were ten cubits tall.

27 هەردوو کەڕوبەکەی لەناوەڕاستی شوێنی هەرەپیرۆز دانا و باڵی کەڕوبەکانی کردەوە. باڵی یەکێک لە کەڕوبەکان بەر دیوارێک کەوت و باڵی کەڕوبی دووەمیان بەر دیوارەکەی بەرامبەری کەوت، لەناوەڕاستی ژوورەکەش بەر یەکتری دەکەوتن، باڵ بە باڵ.

He had the cherubim placed inside the inner sanctuary of the Temple. Since their wings were fully spread, a wing of the first cherub touched one wall, a wing of the second cherub touched the other wall, and in the middle of the Temple their wings touched.

28 هەردوو کەڕوبەکەشی بە زێڕ ڕووپۆش کرد.

The cherubim were also covered with a gold coating.

29 لەسەر هەموو دیوارەکانی پیرۆزگاکە، لەناو هەردوو ژوورەکەی، ژووری ناوەوە و ژووری دەرەوەش، وێنەی کەڕوب و دار خورما و گوڵی کراوەی نەخشاند.

He had all the Temple walls, both the inner and outer sanctuaries, carved with designs of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.

30 زەمینی ژووری ناوەوە و ژووری دەرەوەی پیرۆزگاکەشی بە زێڕ ڕووپۆش کرد.

He also had the floor of the Temple floor covered with gold, both the inner and outer sanctuaries.

31 بۆ داڵانەکەی شوێنی هەرەپیرۆزیش، دەرگایەکی دوو دەری لە داری زەیتوون دروستکرد، بە شێوەی پێنج چوارچێوە لەناو یەکدا.

He had doors of olive wood made for the entrance to the inner sanctuary, together with a lintel and doorposts that had five sides.

32 لەسەر هەردوو لای دەرگاکەش کە لە داری زەیتوون بوون، کەڕوب و دار خورما و گوڵی کراوەی لەسەر نەخشاند و بە زێڕ ڕووپۆشی کردن.

These olive wood double doors had carved into them designs of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers. The cherubim and palm trees carvings were covered with beaten gold.

33 بە هەمان شێوە لە داڵانی هۆڵە سەرەکییەکەش چوار چوارچێوەی لەناو یەکدا لە داری زەیتوون دروستکرد.

Similarly he had four-sided doorposts of olive wood made for the entrance to the sanctuary.

34 هەروەها دوو دەرگای بە داری سنەوبەر دروستکرد، هەردووکیان دوو دەری بوون کە بە نەرمادە بەسترا بوون و دەسووڕانەوە.

Its doors were made of cypress wood, each with two hinged panels.

35 کەڕوب و دار خورما و گوڵی کراوەی لەسەر نەخشاندن و بە زێڕی کوتراو لەسەر نەخشەکە ڕووپۆشی کردن.

He had them carved with designs of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and covered them with gold beaten evenly over the carvings.

36 هەروەها حەوشەکەی ناوەوەی بنیاد نا بە سێ ڕیز بەردی تاشراو و ڕیزێک کاریتەی ئورز.

Solomon had the inner courtyard built with three courses of dressed stone and one of cedar beams.

37 لە ساڵی چوارەم پەرستگای یەزدانی دامەزراند، لە مانگی زیڤ.

The foundation of the Lord's Temple was laid in the fourth year of Solomon's reign, in the month of Ziv.

38 لە ساڵی یازدەیەمینیش، لە مانگی بول کە مانگی هەشتە، هەموو بەشەکانی پەرستگاکە بە هەموو وردەکارییەکانییەوە تەواو کرا، بە حەوت ساڵ بنیادی نا.

The Temple was finished exactly as specified and planned in Solomon's eleventh year, in the eighth month, the month of Bul. So it took him seven years to build the Temple.
