یەکەم یۆحەنا 5

1 هەرکەسێک باوەڕی بەوە هەبێت کە عیسا مەسیحە، ئەوە لە خوداوە لەدایک بووە. هەرکەسێک باوکی خۆشبوێ، ئەوەشی خۆشدەوێت کە لێی لەدایک بووە.

Whosoever believeth that, Jesus, is the Christ, of God, hath been born: and, whosoever loveth him that begat, loveth him that hath been begotten of him.

2 بەمەدا دەزانین ڕۆڵەکانی خودامان خۆشدەوێت: کە خودامان خۆشبوێت و ڕاسپاردەکانی بەجێبگەیەنین.

Hereby, perceive we, that we love the children of God, as soon as, God, we love, and, his commandments, we are doing.

3 ئەمە خۆشەویستی خودایە، ڕاسپاردەکانی بەجێبگەیەنن، ڕاسپاردەکانیشی قورس نین،

For, this is the love of God—that, his commandments, we be keeping, and, his commandments, are not burdensome;

4 چونکە هەرکەسێک لە خوداوە لەدایک بووبێت جیهان دەبەزێنێت. ئەو سەرکەوتنەش کە جیهان دەبەزێنێت، باوەڕمانە.

Because, whatsoever hath been born of God, overcometh the world; and, this, is the victory that hath overcome the world—our faith.

5 کێیە جیهان دەبەزێنێت؟ تەنها ئەو کەسەی باوەڕی هەیە کە عیسا کوڕی خودایە.

[And] who is he that overcometh the world, save he that believeth that, Jesus, is the Son of God?

6 ئەمە ئەوەیە کە بە ئاو و خوێن هاتووە، عیسای مەسیح، نەک تەنها بە ئاو، بەڵکو بە ئاو و بە خوێن. ڕۆحی پیرۆزیش شایەتی دەدات، چونکە ڕۆحەکە ڕاستییە.

This, is he that came through means of water and blood, Jesus Christ: not, by the water, only, but, by the water and by the blood, —and, the Spirit, it is, that is bearing witness, because, the Spirit, is the truth.

7 ئەوانەی شایەتی دەدەن سێیانن:

Because, three, are they who are bearing witness—

8 ڕۆح و ئاو و خوێن، ئەم سێ شایەتە هەمان شایەتی دەدەن.

The Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood; and, the three, are, [witnesses], unto one thing.

9 ئەگەر ئێمە شایەتی مرۆڤ لەلامان قبوڵ بێت، شایەتی خودا گەورەترە، چونکە ئەمە شایەتی خودایە سەبارەت بە کوڕەکەی داویەتی.

If, the witness of men, we receive, the witness of God, is, greater. Because, this, is the witness of God—in that he hath borne witness concerning his Son, —

10 ئەوەی باوەڕ بە کوڕی خودا بهێنێت ئەم شایەتییە لە خۆیدا هەیە. ئەوەی باوەڕ بە خودا نەکات خودا بە درۆزن دادەنێت، چونکە باوەڕ بەو شایەتییە ناکات کە خودا سەبارەت بە کوڕەکەی داویەتی.

He that believeth on the Son of God, hath the witness, within himself: He that doth not believe God, false, hath made him, —because he hath not believed on the witness which, God, hath witnessed, concerning his Son—

11 ئەمەش شایەتییەکەیە: خودا ژیانی هەتاهەتایی پێداوین و ئەو ژیانەش لە کوڕەکەیدایە. (aiōnios g166)

And, this, is the witness: —that, life age-abiding, hath God given unto us, and, this life, is, in his Son: (aiōnios g166)

12 ئەوەی کوڕەکەی هەبێت ژیانی هەیە، ئەوەی کوڕی خودای نەبێت، ژیانیشی نابێت.

He that hath the Son, hath, the life, —he that hath not the Son of God, hath not, the life.

13 ئەمانەم بۆ ئێوە نووسی کە باوەڕتان بە ناوی کوڕی خودا هەیە، تاکو بزانن ژیانی هەتاهەتاییتان هەیە. (aiōnios g166)

These things, have I written unto you—in order that ye may know that ye have, Life Age-abiding—unto you who believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)

14 ئەمەش ئەو متمانەیە کە بەومان هەیە، ئەگەر بەگوێرەی ویستی ئەو داوای هەر شتێک بکەین، گوێمان لێ دەگرێت.

And, this, is the boldness which we have towards him: that, if, anything, we ask, according to his will, He doth hearken unto us.

15 ئەگەر بزانین هەرچییەک داوا بکەین گوێمان لێ دەگرێت، ئەوا دەزانین ئەوەی لە ئەومان داوا کردووە هەمانە.

And, if we know that he doth hearken unto us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the things asked, which we have asked of him,

16 ئەگەر کەسێک خوشک یان برایەکی لە کاتی ئەنجامدانی گوناهێکدا بینی کە بەرەو مردنی نەبات، پێویستە لەسەری لە خودا بۆی بپاڕێتەوە، خوداش ژیانی دەداتێ. مەبەستم ئەوانەیە گوناه دەکەن کە بەرەو مردن نییە. گوناه هەیە بەرەو مردنە، بۆ ئەمە ناڵێم داوا بکرێت.

If one should see his brother committing a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He will grant unto him life, —for them who are sinning, not unto death. There, is, a sin, unto death: not concerning that, am I saying, that he should make request.

17 هەموو ناڕەواییەک گوناهە بەڵام گوناهیش هەیە بەرەو مردن نییە.

All unrighteousness, is, sin, and there, is, a sin, not unto death.

18 دەزانین هەرکەسێک لە خوداوە لەدایک بووبێت بەردەوام نابێت لە گوناهکردن، بەڵکو ئەوەی لە خوداوە لەدایک بووە خۆی دەپارێزێت و شەیتان دەستی لێ نادات.

We know that, whosoever hath been born of God, is not committing sin, —Nay, he that hath been born of God, He keepeth him, and, the wicked one, doth not touch him.

19 دەزانین لە خوداوەین و هەموو جیهان لەژێر دەستی شەیتاندا دانراوە.

We know that, of God, are we; and, the whole world, in the wicked one, is lying.

20 هەروەها دەزانین کە کوڕی خودا هات و چاوی کردینەوە تاکو ئەو بناسین کە ڕاستییە. ئێمەش لەگەڵ ڕاستییەکەدا بووینەتە یەک، کە عیسای مەسیحی کوڕی خودایە. ئەو خودای ڕاستەقینە و ژیانی هەتاهەتاییە. (aiōnios g166)

We know, moreover, that, the Son of God, hath come, and hath given us insight, so that we are getting to understand, him that is Real, —and we are in him that is Real, in his Son Jesus Christ. This, is the Real God, and life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)

21 ڕۆڵە خۆشەویستەکان، خۆتان لە بت بپارێزن.

Dear children! Guard yourselves from idols.
