The sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 کوڕەکانی یافەت: گۆمەر، ماگۆگ، مادەی، یاڤان، توبال، مەشەک و تیراس.

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshek, and Tiras.

6 کوڕەکانی گۆمەر: ئەشکەنەز، ڕیفەت و تۆگەرما.

The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

7 کوڕەکانی یاڤان: ئەلیشا، تەرشیش، کیتیم و ڕۆدانیم.

The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.

8 کوڕەکانی حام: کوش، میسر، پووت و کەنعان.

The sons of Ham were Cush, Egypt, Put, and Canaan.

9 کوڕەکانی کوش: سەبا، حەڤیلا، سەڤتا، ڕەعما و سەبتەکا. کوڕەکانی ڕەعما: شەبا و دیدان.

The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raamah, and Sabteka. The sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

10 نەمرود لە نەوەی کوش لەدایکبوو، کە بووە جەنگاوەرێکی مەزن لەسەر زەوی.

Cush became the father of Nimrod, who was the first conqueror on the earth.

11 میسر باوکی لوودی، عەنامی، لەهابی، نەفتوحی،

Egypt became the ancestor of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites,

12 پاتروسی و کەفتۆری بوو، هەروەها باوکی کەسلوحییەکانیش بوو کە فەلەستییەکانیان لێ کەوتنەوە.

Pathrusites, Kasluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorites.

13 کەنعان باوکی سەیدا بوو، کە نۆبەرەکەی بوو، لەگەڵ حیتییەکان،

Canaan became the father of Sidon, his firstborn, and of the Hittites.

14 هەروەها یەبوسی، ئەمۆری، گرگاشی،

He also became the ancestor of the Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,

15 حیڤی، عەرقی، سینی،

Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,

16 ئەرڤادی، چیماری و حەماتییەکانیشی بوو.

Arvadites, Zemarites, and the Hamathites.

17 کوڕەکانی سام: ئیلام، ئەشوور، ئەرپەکشاد، لوود و ئارام. کوڕەکانی ئارام: عوچ، حوول، گەتەر و مەشەک.

The sons of Shem were Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshek.

18 ئەرپەکشاد باوکی شالەح بوو، شالەحیش باوکی عێبەر بوو،

Arphaxad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.

19 عێبەریش دوو کوڕی بوو، یەکێکیان ناوی پەلەگ بوو، چونکە لە سەردەمی ئەودا زەوی دابەش کرا. براکەشی ناوی یۆقتان بوو.

Eber had two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. His brother's name was Joktan.

20 یۆقتان ئەم کوڕانەی هەبوو: ئەلمۆداد، شەلەف، حەچەرماڤەت، یارەح،

Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

21 هەدۆرام، ئوزال، دیقلە،

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

22 عۆبال، ئەبیمائێل، شەبا،

Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

23 ئۆفیر، حەڤیلا و یۆڤاڤ. هەموو ئەمانە کوڕانی یۆقتان بوون.

Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab; all these were descendants of Joktan.

24 سام، ئەرپەکشاد، شالەح،

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

25 عێبەر، پەلەگ، ڕەعو،

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26 سەروگ، ناحۆر، تارەح و

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 ئەبرام، کە ئیبراهیمە.

Abram, who was Abraham.

28 کوڕەکانی ئیبراهیم: ئیسحاق و ئیسماعیل.

The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael.

29 ئەمانەش نەوەکانیانن: نەبایۆت کە نۆبەرەی ئیسماعیل بوو، هەروەها قێدار، ئەدبەئێل، میبسام،

These are their sons: the firstborn of Ishmael was Nebaioth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

30 میشماع، دوما، مەسسا، حەدەد، تێما،

Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,

31 یەتور، نافیش و قێدما، ئەمانە کوڕەکانی ئیسماعیل بوون.

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were Ishmael's sons.

32 قەتورە کە کەنیزەی ئیبراهیم بوو ئەم کوڕانەی هەبوو: زیمران، یۆقشان، مەدان، میدیان، یەشباق و شوەح. کوڕەکانی یۆقشانیش: شەبا و دیدان.

The sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan.

33 کوڕەکانی میدیان: عێفا، عێفەر، حەنۆک، ئەبیداع و ئەلداعە. هەموو ئەمانە نەوەی قەتورە بوون.

Midian's sons were Ephah, Epher, Hanok, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were Keturah's descendants.

34 ئیبراهیم ئیسحاقی بوو. کوڕەکانی ئیسحاق: عیسۆ و ئیسرائیل.

Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.

35 کوڕەکانی عیسۆ: ئەلیفاز، ڕەعوئێل، یەعوش، یەعلام و قۆرەح.

The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

36 کوڕەکانی ئەلیفاز: تێمان، ئۆمار، چەفۆ، گەعتام و قەنەز؛ هەروەها لە ئەلیفاز تیمنەع عەمالێقی بوو.

The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.

37 کوڕەکانی ڕەعوئێل: نەحەت، زەرەح، شەمما و میزا.

The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 کوڕەکانی سێعیر: لۆتان، شۆڤاڵ، چیبعۆن، عەنا، دیشۆن، ئێچەر و دیشان.

The sons of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

39 کوڕەکانی لۆتان: حۆری و هۆمام. تیمنەعیش خوشکی لوتان بوو.

The sons of Lotan were Hori and Homam, and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40 کوڕەکانی شۆڤاڵ: عەلڤان، مانەحەت، عێبال، شەفۆ و ئۆنام. کوڕەکانی چیبعۆن: ئەییا و عەنا.

The sons of Shobal were Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon were Aiah and Anah.

41 کوڕەکەی عەنا: دیشۆن. کوڕەکانی دیشۆن: حەمدان، ئەشبان، یەتران و کران.

The son of Anah was Dishon. The sons of Dishon were Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.

42 کوڕەکانی ئێچەر: بلهان، زەعەڤان و عەقان. کوڕەکانی دیشان: عوچ و ئەران.

The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.

43 ئەمانەش ئەو پاشایانەن کە لە خاکی ئەدۆم پاشایەتییان دەکرد پێش ئەوەی هیچ پاشایەکی ئیسرائیلی پاشایەتی بکات: بەلەعی کوڕی بەعۆر، ناوی شارەکەشی دینهابە بوو.

These were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 کە بەلەع مرد، یۆڤاڤی کوڕی زەرەحی خەڵکی بۆزرا وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە.

When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.

45 کە یۆڤاڤ مرد، حوشامی خەڵکی خاکی تێمانییەکان وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە.

When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

46 کە حوشام مرد، هەدەدی کوڕی بەدەد وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە، لە وڵاتی مۆئاب شکستی بە میدیان هێنا. ناوی شارەکەشی عەڤیت بوو.

When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the land of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.

47 کە هەدەد مرد، سەمڵەی خەڵکی مەسرێقە وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە.

When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.

48 کە سەمڵە مرد، شائوولی خەڵکی ڕەحۆبۆت، ئەو شارەی لە کەناری ڕووبار بوو، وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە.

When Samlah died, Shaul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his place.

49 کە شائوول مرد، بەعل‌حانانی کوڕی عەکبۆر وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە.

When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor reigned in his place.

50 کە بەعل‌حانان مرد، هەدەد وەک پاشا جێگەی گرتەوە. ناوی شارەکەشی پاعوو بوو، ژنەکەشی ناوی میهێتەبێل بوو، کچی مەترێدی کچی مێزاهاب بوو.

When Baal-Hanan son of Akbor died, Hadad reigned in his place. The name of his city was Pau. His wife's name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred daughter of Me-Zahab.

51 ئینجا هەدەدیش مرد. میرەکانی ئەدۆم ئەمانە بوون: تیمنەع، عەلڤا، یەتێت،

Hadad died. The chiefs in Edom were Chief Timna, Chief Alvah, Chief Jetheth,

52 ئۆهۆلیبامە، ئێلە، پینۆن،

Chief Oholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,

53 قەنەز، تێمان، میبسار،

Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,

54 مەگدئێل و عیرام. ئەمانە میرەکانی ئەدۆم بوون.

Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
